Vacation rentals in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough

We stayed for 2 nights at Sharon’s place and were very happy with everything about the house and area. I had not realised how rural the village was and loved the views from the back door watching the sun rise over the hill. The house was spotless and well appointed. The welcome pack was a nice touch although we had brought food with us. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. We had an Indian takeaway from Merthyr Tydfil the first night which we collected. Only 18 minutes drive away, then cooked the second night. Plenty of utensils in the kitchen. We loved the drive over the moors with the fabulous views and had a wonderful hike in the Brecon Beacons. We also visited Brecon and enjoyed having a look around d the shops. Sharon was very responsive and able to give recommendations. We would recommend to anyone planning to explore the area.

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful property. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how spotless, stylish, and comfortable everything was. The views were absolutely stunning, photos don’t do them justice and made our time there even more special. Our host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we felt right at home. Everything was perfect from start to finish. As a group of four, we all agreed this was a 10/10 experience. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back again :))

Spent a few days away here with friends. The cottage is tucked away and not overlooked at all. It was very clean with enough space for 4 of us. The beds were very comfortable with good quality linen. We were nicely surprised and appreciated the little extras that were provided to get us started. We had a few active days so coming back to the hot tub was just what was needed. If you brought bikes the lockable garage is spacious enough. There is a narrow spiral staircase in the kitchen that leads to the upstairs floor which was fine for us but others might struggle. Chris was very helpful and understanding and a great host. I would recommend this place and I would definately love to stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be coming back! Amazing view, was so warm and cozy inside the cottage. Would recommend the animal and hot tub experiences!! Missing the animals already, especially the dogs, Mabel and little Pig. Felicity, Dave and Tracey were all so friendly and helpful with tips for things to do throughout our stay! :)

Lovely apartment, spacious and well maintained. Had fully equipped kitchen and clean throughout. Jas and Tan were lovely in messages and gave some local recommendations. Ended up parking on a side street as outside apartment was main street parking, although no street noise. Beds are SUPER comfy!! Thank you x

We had a wonderful stay at Kieran’s place. The place itself was comfortable and as described. Everything was modern and well equipped. Parking was easy and everything was an easy drive in order for us to explore Brecon Beacons. We all especially loved the lighting and fireplace in the living room! The outdoor space was also really nice! Overall we would recommend staying here and would stay again if we were in the area.

Just to say Angela and James were the best hosts and we have stayed in our fair share of Airbnb’s. The photos just do not do this place justice, it was absolutely spotlessly clean throughout and so modern inside and out, it really was lovely vibe and we will definitely be back one day.

andrew was a star and accommodated us last min even tho he had very little notice but we were pretty desperate to get accomodation and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a place to stay. place was perfect for what we needed. very clean and tidy, warm, plenty of hot water and everything needed for self catering. was a breeze to communicate with and came back to us really quickly. Will def recommend this little gem to anyone and if I'm passing again and need a stop over I would book again. Brucy bonus that I could bring my dog too. many thanks Andrew
