Erin's Cottage in Merthyr Tydfil

We had a wonderful stay at Caroline’s place! The location is perfect—quiet, comfortable, and close to Pen y Fan and Big Pit where we spent some time with the kids. The house was spotless. When we needed help with the gas hob, Caroline responded and resolved it within 10 minutes—excellent support. Highly recommended for anyone exploring the Brecon Beacons!

Town Centre Cosy Flat

Lovely flat, with everything we needed for a week’s long walking holiday - the AC was much appreciated during the heatwave! The location was ideal for us, close to both the bus and train stations, and with a large supermarket within 5 minutes’ walk. We walked from Merthyr to Aberdare, did a couple of stretches of the Taff Trail, and explored the Sirhowy Valley as well. The Brecon Mountain Railway was another treat. We didn’t eat out much, but had a lovely supper at Salt N Pepper, in the old Brunswick pub, around the corner from the flat, highly recommended. There’s a Spoons at the bottom of the road as well, if you like that kind of thing, which I do. Diolch yn fawr, Jamie!
A serene scene is presented with a gentle waterfall cascading over rocks into a clear pool. Surrounding trees provide dappled sunlight and greenery, enhancing the natural landscape. Smooth stones and pebbles line the riverbank, creating a tranquil atmosphere perfect for relaxation.

A fantastic place to stay, just a shame we couldn't be there longer! Look forward to staying again when the chance comes.
A weathered tree with bright red berries leans to one side in a lush green field. Rolling mountains with patches of grass and tree cover rise in the background under a partly cloudy sky.

Greenacres Bungalow

ideal for people going to Bike Park Wales. It is set up as 4 x single beds, so maybe not a snuggly couples retreat. good highlights: Good water pressure for shower. Has a good bike store with roller shutter and pressure washer. not overlooked in to the windows which is nice.
An outdoor barbecue area features a sturdy stone structure with red countertop edges. A black grilling grate sits securely on top, while two open storage compartments are situated below. The space is designed for use in a private outdoor setting.

Lovely repeat stay. Liam was a very helpful host. Slight issue with some of the beds not being made and missing some towels but a quick reply from Liam, and his Mother-in-Law very kindly brought some round that evening so sorted very quickly. Would happily recommend again
