6 of us stayed here for taking part in the Dragon ride. Perfect location for this as it's a straight road to the start. The accommodation was everything you'd expect from a farm cottage, quirky, nice layout and great facilities. Easy check in and out, what more do you need! Thanks John/Liz for providing a cracking place to stay.

Totally enclosed outside space my 2 shih Tzus adored exploring on their own safely! The cabin is very spacious, well equipped and the utility room was perfect for all the doggo belongings! Highly recommended for total relaxation from the real world. Grab a champagne and get in the hot tub and watch the sheep go by!

If you're looking for a peaceful corner of paradise, this is it. The Round House genuinely is the perfect getaway from it all cottage. So relaxing sitting and listening to the birds and the stream going by, regardless of whether you're in the hot tub or not (what a bonus!). The cottage itself is lovely, it has everything you could possibly need, with some really nice touches throughout. Kate is a fantastic host, and the guest folder has plenty of information of things to see and do during your stay. So what are you waiting for?! Thanks Kate - a much-needed break and exactly what we were looking for! Andy, Kath and Olly x

Merlin's cottage was a perfect base for our trip to the area. We had come for Man v Horse and location was great! The property itself was clean and really spacious! We were surprised by the space it offered for a one bedroom cottage! It was clean and in a lovely condition. Communication was very easy with John and Liz, check in was so simple, clear instructions and labels on everything! It was just what we needed!

Danyfan Cottage

MeganRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My mom and I had an amazing long weekend stay at the cottage! The location was so peaceful, and it was very thoughtful for Emma to leave some breakfast foods (bread, eggs, and milk) for us. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the beds were very comfortable. Being able to walk to Pen y Fan, Cribyn, and Fan y Big was absolute perfection. We even walked into town for groceries and ice cream. We were sad to leave. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

Brecon Beacons Getaway for Two

CharlotteRating, 5 stars9 months ago
I loved everything about this place, the bed was very comfy and the location was perfect. The bath and shower are wonderful and so is the soap and shower gel and linens available. I loved the eco friendly toilet paper too. Two points to note: there was no chopping board I could see? Fortunately most of my food was already prepared so it was not a big deal. And I believe it is the hot water tank that makes a noise intermittently? So, if you're a light sleeper like me, you'll need ear plugs despite being in very quiet and peaceful countryside. I loved my stay here it was very special and I would stay again when visiting the brecons!

This was a fantastic cottage for a birthday celebration with our family group of eight. The location is stunning. We went on a lovely walk in the hills behind the cottage with panoramic views of the countryside, recommended by Lise. The hosts were very accommodating and were flexible with the check out time when it snowed on the last day! The cottage was also very cozy and warm with the wood burner and heating. Overall, a great experience! Thanks.

Old Coach House with stunning views

SaberaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
A group of 7 of us with children had a good long weekend staying at the Old Coach House. The house is extremely well stocked with everything you would need for a holiday, with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. The living room is spacious allowing for good social times in the evenings, with a variety of games and movies available as well plenty toys for the little ones. We had a-bit of difficulty with parking 4 cars but managed it okay in the end. The walks and boat rides near the lakes were lovely. We made a good use of garden and of BBQ. Would certainly come back again. Thank you Liz!

Vale Chestnut - Cottage with stunning views

ClaireRating, 5 stars20 months ago
We had a fantastic week here, the views and setting were just amazing. The accommodation was clean and cosy, Danielle and Tom were great hosts- so friendly and very very responsive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! The kids loved the swimming pool and its long opening hours. Although there were other families staying in the other cottages it always felt very tranquil and peaceful with us often having exclusive use of the pool. It was great having a washing machine to use daily, as well as lots of other bonuses. We will definitely be back!

Woodpecker Cottage at Cwm Irfon Lodge

MariaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Sure! Here's a warm, thoughtful Airbnb review template you can customize depending on your experience: --- We had the most wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Wales. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home—the place is beautifully kept, spotlessly clean, and full of character. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable and peaceful stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, cosy living area, and a very comfortable bed. The location is perfect—tucked away in nature, yet still close enough to explore the local town and walking trails. Waking up to the sound of birds and enjoying our coffee with a view of the hills was truly magical. Our host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and full of great recommendations for things to do in the area. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and experience the beauty of rural Wales.

Fantastic View's Amazing Sunsets

SteveRating, 5 stars1 day ago
A beautifully presented caravan. Thoughtfully, there were a few of the essentials included in the kitchen and bathroom, in case anything was forgotten. The view was truly stunning and we particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning and evenings a watching ships sail past. The location was really peaceful, not even the expected chorus of gulls to disturb us. We used the caravan as a base for exploring the local area by car and did not use the site facilities, so we cannot comment on their quality. Of note; as far as we could tell, there was no access on foot to the beach and therefore waterfall (there is a path shown on OS maps to the beach, but it is closed due to cliff erosion), nor the neighbouring caravan site.

Great little caravan where you'll feel at home. With kids this location was great, loads to do at the park, and the beach is a good stroll away too. The park itself is one of the quieter ones, which is great when you're travelling with family. If you need to stay in this area I would recommend. The local "chefs corner" is a place where I'd only recommend having pizza 😉 but there are magnificent places to eat around here, some are listed in the guidebook in the property. Thanks to Rihanna all aspects of the stay went very smoothly.

Patch - country cottage with hot tub & log burner

We had a fabulous three night stay in the patch cottage. Everything was perfect and couldn’t have been any better. As soon as we walked in it felt homely and welcoming; the amenities were great - though we didn’t use them. Weston-super-mare was but a 15-20 minute drive away. I can’t recommend this place enough, I will definitely be back! Thank you! 🫶🏽
