Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Pelican Lake

A bit tough getting hot water going in the showers during -15 degree weather. But that is likely due to the radiant heating and heated floors maybe using much of the heated water. Lots of room and spaces to explore in the house. Light switches were a bit of a fun game to figure out which does what. But we were comfy and had a great relaxing time as we wanted for a long weekend.

What a wonderful place to stay! Centrally located, close to biking trails. Will definitely stay here again.

Thalina’s house was very nice! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice! She responded quickly to any questions I had. She was very understanding when we had to check out early because of family matters.

This is the perfect get away. everything was perfect! plenty of space inside and the outdoor space is amazing! Cory communicated quickly and completely. we highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this lakeside home. Saw so much wildlife (beavers, loons, caught lots of fish, and more!). Neighbors were kind and respectful. This area of the lake is tucked off to the side, maintaining a lot of privacy from boaters and other homes. We loved the sunsets and bonfires. The proximity to a large town with lots to do/shop made it easy to get whatever we’d need. Really cannot recommend this place enough as a downtown couple who wanted a peaceful, clean, homey lake getaway. We’ve already decided this will be our go to destination for cabin getaways moving forward!!!!

Cute, clean home near many parks and attractions in the Brainerd Lake area. Thoughtful touches and amenities for guests. Everyone enjoyed the pool which was a unique find for an Airbnb rental in the area.

Had a great stay here in Brainerd! About 15 minutes away from the main city, but a very nice and private spot. Hot tub was a nice amenity! Awesome lake view (came in March so didn’t get to enjoy it fully but in warmer seasons-gorg!) I liked the open concept, was easy to hangout as a group. Kitchen had everything we needed! Larry was responsive, highly recommend!

We all had a wonderful time, it was peaceful, relaxing, family friendly and felt like home! We would definitely rent this place again in the summer time! What a beautiful home and view! Thank you for having us as your guests! Lovely experience!

Rob was very accommodating during our stay, from letting us check in early to responding during our stay on where to take out the trash out to. Will always keep the dojo in mind for future stays!

Crystal and Brad are incredibly helpful! We’ve stayed here twice now and will definitely be coming back. The space is always super clean, and they’ve thought of everything—you’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The place was comfortable and extremely clean. Probably the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed in. The view was lovely and it was very quiet. We had bad weather so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside amenities. The beach, fire pit and kayaks looked very inviting.

This lake home is outstanding! Extremely clean, comfortable, and private. We caught a lot of bluegill and some bass off the dock, and our dog loved swimming in the lake. The owner also provided a great recommendation for a pontoon rental, which was the highlight of the trip! We will definitely be back in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Babe’s cabin for the long holiday weekend. Perfectly peaceful and close to some cute small towns. We especially enjoyed the sauna and the campfire pit. A very well-appointed cabin with everything you need for a weekend away. Appreciated all the local recommendations too. Would highly recommend checking out the Paul Bunyan Trail (access point in Nisswa) if you have a four-legged family member with you. We hope to be back again! Thanks!

Great cabin! Fully equipped with all the necessities and comfortable. This cabin is closest to the lake with nice lake views. While there are other cabins on the property we had enough privacy. Worked well for our family of 4.

This place had it all! The space inside and out was functional and perfect! I especially loved the backyard and so did my dogs! The privacy fence was great! I was grateful for the K-cups of coffee, and having a washer/dryer was SO helpful! We had one adult, two teenagers, and a 10yo. There was plenty of space and we were very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and fully stocked. I would love to stay again someday!

We had an amazing weekend at Kent and Paula’s cabin. Beautiful trails and an even more beautiful cabin to cozy up in during the chilly days! Plenty of firewood and towels/linens in case we needed it. LOVED the little bottle of maple syrup, thank you for that!! 10/10 experience, will visit again!

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The beds were great. We were there in early June and there were tons of warblers singing and loons on the lake. It was a great birding location. The walk to the lake is a steep hill and the bedrooms are upstairs in case you have mobility issues. The drive to town for grocery and restaurants is short. The hosts are nearby if you need help.
