Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Pedernales River

The house was PERFECT for our graduation celebration with family and friends. All of the amenities were spot on - including the pool and hot tub, the size of the property with all of the trees, and the large kitchen, long island and spacious dining room. We were blessed with a beautiful orange sunset off the back of the deck which was the icing on the cake. I would definitely rent this house again.

My wife and I planned a last minute trip to Fredricksburg for the Memorial Day weekend. We were hoping to stay in Fredricksburg, but everything was booked. We found Terry's place in Johnson City which is about 45 minutes east of Fredricksburg. It is very private area out in the Ranchland Hill Country. First off, the place is immaculately clean! Second you know you found a really nice place when your wife starts taking pictures of everything because she loves the style and décor! The check in instructions were very clear and concise. The place was very welcoming and relaxing. Terry left a very detailed notebook with suggested places to go, things to do, and places to eat. In the morning and evenings we saw deer on the property. We also saw several cardinals and other beautiful bird species. If you are looking for a nice relaxing get away and don't want the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you!

This is the BEST Airbnb we have stayed in with our dogs. The place has several open grassy areas where they were able to really run and play at full speed. The house is perfect as well - I have never seen a host more thoughtful about every little detail, even leaving the cutest toys and treats for our fur babies. The house was so comfortable, clean, and thoughtful and Amanda was such a sweet host. The sunrises are stunning and the stars are beautiful. A perfect place to get away and just slow down. We hope to be able to visit again for longer.

Overall, it was a great stay! Very responsive and very helpful! Aside from a few unexpected critters everything was clean. The space was well kept and the outside fire pit was amazing to use! Loved staying here would definitely be open to staying here again if ever in Fredericksburg!

Beautiful, stress free and a little slice of heaven. Free of noise and all peace and quiet. Barely any light pollution at night, you can see the Milky Way and millions of other stars. Wildlife was amazing and definitely what you would expect in Hill County. If you want a central Texas feel this it. We’ll be back for sure!

Perfect location in Johnson city and only about 20 min to wineries in Fredericksburg. Clean house and pool and great communication throughout our stay if we had any questions arise. Definitely would stay again!

We had such a wonderful stay at this charming Airbnb! The space was so nice and cozy - perfect for a Fredericksburg weekend getaway. One of my favorite moments was waking up in the morning and seeing the animals outside - it felt like a peaceful retreat in nature. BEAUTIFUL location and home!!! Extremely picturesque, feels secluded and private, the bathroom is gorgeous, all the amenities are perfect and George and Kim were amazing hosts, went above and beyond to make sure we were extremely comfortable and had a great vacation.

We enjoyed our stay. it is very easy to go into town or visit vineyards in the country. Very quiet and peaceful.

Highly recommend. Peaceful and serene. Beautiful space. Loved the front porch with rockers and a table and chairs. High ceilings, nice interior and very comfortable beds. Loved the friendly cats. Couldn’t have asked for a better Airbnb experience. Reinhard & Caroline’s place is in the perfect location. Close to everything and safe surroundings. The Airbnb was very clean, bed was actually really comfortable, perfect amount of space. I would definitely stay here again.

Shopkeepers in was beautifully designed, very comfy and with so many of us getting together for a family weekend it offered a great option -perfect location and we loved hanging out on the veranda for coffee in the morning and glass of wine in the evening Would definitely stay here again !

We wanted peace and relaxation and we got it! We spent our honeymoon on Gracie’s property, and it was lovely. Had access to hot tub, pool, and fishing dock. Close to town. Host is super sweet and accommodating. Hope to get back soon.

Quaint, very clean with a beautiful view.

What a wonderful host and place to stay. This house is located right at the heart of downtown Buda and is a short walk to all the fun stuff to do around town. Not only that, the hosts are amazing and go above and beyond your typical host. For example, I lost an AirTag during my stay and within an hour of me leaving, they already had the AirTag in the mail. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Buda!

John and Suzanne, Thank you so much for the lovely stay at your 2 bedroom cabin. It was absolutely perfect for our quiet weekend away. We especially appreciated how close it was to Perdenales Falls State Park and that you allow pets – that was a big bonus for us! This place was simply awesome, it was just like in the pictures, the host very nice and good communicator.

Awesome place! My boys & I loved every minute. Cabin was clean, plenty of room for us 5. Felt secluded, but still close to all things. Lots to do on the property. We enjoyed the pool, hiking to the river/use of provided kayaks, bow & arrow with target, zipline and feeding Stars & Stripes. Lots of great memories made here. Hopeful to go back! In all my years of staying in really beautiful places all over the country, this perfect little cabin on the Medina River is maybe my favorite. I stayed for three nights and almost couldn't bear to leave. Even my dog was depressed when I started packing. The cabin is thoughtfully appointed--love all the 1950s, Wes Anderson-esque touches, including the record player, used books, puzzles, and games--but it's also comfortable, clean, quaint, and simple. The screened porch is where you will want to live, especially if you love delighting in the constant stream of hummingbirds. That is, when you're not enjoying every inch of the gorgeous surroundings. My dog and I spent many hours hiking the greenbelt, swimming in the sparkling river, sitting with the fireflies at dusk, meeting friendly neighbors (though you'll find mostly wonderful solitude), and photographing the butterflies, frogs, turtles, and birds. It's a true gem of a getaway, and I can't wait to return.

Me and my new fiancé absolutely loved this place from the minute we got there we felt like we were home and didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be staying here again. It has made for a lasting memory that we will cherish.
