Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Pavones

I love this place. If I am in Costa Rica again, I will stay there for at least 2 weeks. For me, a piece of paradise in the middle of nature with plenty of privacy and opportunity to unwind. Every day, you saw different animals. You can't have more of a jungle feeling. We had a total of 8 accommodations during our trip and this is my absolute favorite🤩

Amazing place to stay. We loved her home and hospitality. The house was very comfortable with a great area to relax inside and outside on the deck. We cooked several nights and also used the grill. Lots of towels and the pool area was perfect. There was other things to do such as ping pong. The beach is a 2 minute walk. The birds in the area were fantastic. The macaws were just right out the door. We also used the kayaks. Amanda’s place is the perfect place to stay. She recommended a restaurant for us when we told her we were going to King Louis Waterfall that was super. We cannot recommend her place enough. Great place to stay.

The house is more beautiful than in the photos, the Internet is fast the air conditioners are great and necessary, as the place is muffled, very nice house, in the middle of nature, a few steps away from an excellent surfing peak. Kei, the collaborator, was perfect, very kind and helpful, gave excellent tips and always responded when asked, excellent boy! Unfortunately Pavones is not the paradise we expected, the beaches are wonderful, the surf is perfect, but there is already a kind of bandit, we were robbed on the beach, took our backpack with all our documents, credit card and cash, we ran out, we recovered almost everything with the help of locals, because the bandits are known, the police just asked me questions and said it would be difficult to recover something, although I went out to take me home. This is terrible for tourism, a shame for the local people, they are young people, of family, who shame this little paradise.

The place is amazing with lots of birds and wildlife. Beautiful flowers and plants. Sleeping open air is not for the faint of heart, but for us was an experience of a lifetime.

My husband and I are so lucky to have found the perfect place in Costa Rica get away from it all and decompress. The home itself is very spacious, private and is set among a beautifully landscaped property. Jacko the caretaker was very accommodating, super friendly and helped us set up a couple of excursions while we were there. It was the perfect little home away from home.

The house is very nice, well cared for and everything is very tidy. Lea was very friendly and helped me with all my questions. We were a group of 7 and the house is too comfortable and safe.

At Andy’s place the adventure comes to you. People pay to be taken out into the jungle for tours to see wildlife that showed up in our yard with no effort. The road to matopalo is rough - can’t be passed without 4wd. I wish we’d had higher suspension in ours but we managed. Stop at the bakery and the BM supermarket in PJ for food and stock up. There is no reason to return to PJ during your stay at Andy’s if you have enough food/drinks. Bring coconut oil for your legs to prevent sand fleas (this applies to all Costa Rica) deet also works but natural is better. I would call the experience *top notch glamping* you’re really outdoors and one with nature the whole time. Unbelievable surroundings with a bed and pillows, hot running water and a working range. Perfect for my family who’s used to campervan camping. Backwash bay was perfect for swimming. Andy’s place was perfect for watching surfers, sunrises and sunsets. Keep an eye out for bioluminescence after sunset!! & THE SWING AH!

Easy check in Responsive and delightful host. Amazing location. Plenty of room for 6. Would have preferred there was AC in the bedrooms but that's just me. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Diana!!
