Cottage vacation rentals in Parthenay

What a serene and peaceful location, I've been visiting this area for 12 years and this is the 1st Airbnb we really didn't want to leave. We thoroughly enjoyed how private and tranquil the whole space was, besides some visits from a very friendly dog and of course a warm welcome from Fabien and his daughter we saw nobody else for the entirety of our stay. Fabien went out of his way to offer us any support we needed, and we couldn't recommend his place more! It's the perfect location for a family stay, and our only regret is that we didn't have more time to stay explore the local surroundings. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you again Fabien! we hope to see you next year.

An extremely pleasant extended weekend in a place full of charm. Julie is cheerful, attentive and considerate. I've rarely seen such a hearty breakfast in other cottages. Likewise, we also tested the proposed meal: excellent value for money. Finally, the jacuzzi session in the troglodyte cellar ended up charming us. I highly recommend this listing.

The accommodation is very clean, very well-equipped in a building that has a lot of charm and all in a very quiet environment. We were hosted very well and the instructions on how to use the various equipment were very clear. Special mention for the jacuzzi which is always nice. We would definitely recommend this place.

What to say about our host Richard and his dead wood cottages... topissime!! everything is done for a pleasant stay in the countryside, with great culinary services offered by Richard. a beautiful very well exposed pool that overlooks the cottages. a "so britisch" euh non "scotisch":) we recommend this Airbnb 200% a big hug in Charly 😺

Our stay at Bois Mort was prefect and Richard was the perfect host. He had thought of everything to make a tranquil and beautiful space. The house is in a very quiet rural hamlet which has nice walks and countryside right on the door step. You are only a short drive from many interesting market towns too and Richard was more than happy to give local recommendations. The facilities at Bois Mort including the new pool and pool house, the log fired hot tub and the garden spaces are exceptional. Although some of these spaces are shared it still felt very private and there was plenty of space for all the guests. We would love to visit again in the future.

Julie is a remarkable host in terms of her hospitality, kindness and availability. She always has a smile on her face. The house is very clean, impeccable bedding and many accessories in the kitchen The place is quiet, the pool is large enough to guarantee nice swims The hot tub and petanque court add a pluses to this rental I highly recommend this place. It is about 2 hours from the ocean, 1.5 hours from the Poitevin marsh.

If you're looking for peace and quiet in the countryside, don't hesitate. Sophie is discreet and very responsive. The pool and hot tub are tops…

Great stay as a family at Corinne's. Comfortable bedding, very nice night spaces. Very nice outdoor space. In rainy weather the table inside is a bit tight, we missed the jacuzzi but actually the weather was not suitable Corine is a charming and very friendly host. I recommend

Linda is a very welcoming and very friendly host, who welcomes you with a big smile! Very available and discreet at the same time, we really had a great time! The little restaurants in the area are great and very affordable! The most pleasant thing is to be able to take walks along the canal in the shade, it's very quiet and relaxing. I recommend it and hope to come back one of these days…. Thank you Linda! 😉

Perfect stay! Linda was a wonderful host and we had everything we need. Cottage has lots of character in perfect surroundings. Had some of the best meals in nearby Melle.

Simon and Sarah are impeccable hosts. The cottage is gigantic and offers an impressive number of activities. You can't be bored, you can't be disappointed. The photos are pretty, but don't do reality justice. The setting is beautiful and exotic. Thank you so much, and I hope to be back soon:)

Great host and very easy to communicate with.

Beautiful house with large space, many amenities and very clean, a quiet and peaceful environment. Please note, however, the accommodation is not ideal if you are bringing young children.

The cottage is nice, with the large room when you enter who cooks the dining room and living room. A bottle and aperitivo crackers were waiting for us. The pool is certainly small but it's still great. You can leave your dog in the garden which is fenced, and also you can go for a walk in the paths and in the fields just outside the cottage. Wendy is very nice, in particular we forgot things after we left and she sent them back to us by mail.

We had a wonderful stay at Maryline's! Her welcome was simply amazing, she was taking care of us throughout our stay. The place is peaceful, with an absolutely incredible view and setting, perfect for relaxing away from Parisian noise. We loved sharing this moment with our little dog, who was also very well received. Once again, thank you for everything, Maryline! We highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again.

Pam and Steve are very welcoming, concerned about the comfort of their guests and despite everything very discreet. We had a lovely stay, very quiet. I would highly recommend it.

Great place . Big enough to host a family with 3 children . The accommodation was very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, a large living/dining room with quite large bedrooms, 2 showers. The veranda is a real plus, a large garden for the kids to sample. We only stayed there for 2 days but can be very well suited for more . If we come back to the area, we'll take back this place

Very good stay. The environment of the cottage and the land that surrounds it are very pleasant: large spaces appreciated by our son! The cottage is as described, clean and well-equipped. The only downside is the bathroom is small. Hosting was warm and easy to organize. We will go back without hesitation!!

Axelle's house is located at the port of Maillé, a very quiet, peaceful place. The photos accurately represent the listing description. We appreciated the linen provided and the beds made on arrival. Axelle is very responsive and accommodating. We recommend Axelle's house.

We had a big group. We rented the 2 gites. It went very well. The accommodations are very nice, the amenities are a plus. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. They are also discreet. We had a power outage but it was quickly taken care of and put back. The pool is a plus even if it wasn't very hot (but the weather wasn't good). A little extra for the exteriors which are very well maintained and furnished. I recommend 🙂

It's nice and quiet. The area is wonderful…. Expansive fields (with sunflowers) with lots of greenery and picturesque villages. Alan and Alyson are incredibly friendly hosts and the communication is GREAT! You live there as a god in France and if it gets too hot there is the great swimming pool maintained by Alan.

Very welcoming, quiet and clean accommodation, small less for the smell of humidity. Very well located accommodation for a weekend at Puy du Fou, a little extra for breakfast:)
