Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Panajachel

Was a delight to have the opportunity to spend with my husband, my son and his girlfriend. We all had our own private accommodations, with shared community spaces and places for alone time! A beautiful house, large and very clean rooms, quiet and private family atmosphere, a few blocks from Santander Street and you have a place to do your shopping for your stay very close by, thank you very much for hosting us and Don Tomas was of great help, very kind and supported us immediately, Thank you for everything, we recommend this house as a great experience, we will definitely be back

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

A secluded retreat in the heart of Panajachal. The house is absolutely beautiful and accommodated our family group of 8 perfectly. It felt very private and yet was a block from all the great bars, shops and restaurants on the main street Santander. Also very close walking distance to the North boat launch docks for access to the Lake. Teva, Ana and their team were extremely responsive and helpful. We had a great trip and spent many evenings and morning lounging around the gorgeous house. Hope to return again soon!

We cannot overestimate how much we ADORED La Casa en la Piedra. Most gorgeous place we have ever stayed. Wonderfully chill and quiet - waking up in the morning with a view over the whole of Lake Atitlan was priceless. Really well equipped, clean and comfortable - Albert was a brilliant host and sent us so much information before our stay and was v responsive when we were there. Thank you thank you thank you for creating this gorgeous slice of paradise ❤️❤️❤️

Stunning location, even better than the photos. As others have warned: it is a hike up and down but so very worth it. We carried our own luggage and felt it was doable. It is situated between San Marcos and Tzununa, 15 min walk to Tzununa and about 30 min to San Marcos. Tuktuks do pass at times but not always available. We could order in dinner one night which was delivered and it was delicious. Owner is extremely responsive and helpful. This was an amazing and peaceful end to our stay at Lake Atitlan. Would 10000% recommend.

I will be saving this place for the next time I come to visit! Everything is close by, all within walking distance. The house was everything that we needed , like paradise. ❤️

This place was great. Gerson checked in with us everyday and the balcony was a nice place to sit and watch the lake. It was a great distance from the dense part of town. Enough distance to be away from the noise, but close enough to go towards when the moment called!

Good location, with parking and easy access to the main street. I would come back.

Excellent condominium in a hotel that has a restaurant, game room, swimming pool, jacuzzi and private beach.

A very cozy, clean and tidy place, close to downtown Panajechel and super accessible

We really loved our stay here. The view is beautiful and it is very peaceful. The home is about halfway between the Public Ferry dock and town. it's a fairly steep, but short, walk up to town or down to the docks, there are a few restaurants in both locations. It is easy and quick to take a Tuk Tuk in either direction. There are some large stairs to get down to the door. This is not a great option for anyone mobility impaired but it is great for everyone else. It was perfect for us and we would absolutely stay again.

We enjoyed the location and accuracy of the house. Host was very helpful. For the price it was great. It could use a fan, really stuffy inside at night. The pillows were really big or paper thin. We just didn’t sleep well here but it wasn’t a thing really to fix it. Quiet place with a shared driveway inside gate. Would return.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful property. The apartments are modern and the panoramic views of the volcanos are surreal. The grounds included a lovely sitting area with a fountain. The lower area is set up like a farm. The entire property was peaceful and serene. I would love to return to these apartments soon.

I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a more relaxed stay. The view of San Pedro from the balcony was absolutely beautiful! I ended up spending more time at the unit in the hammock for that reason. There is no A/C (as most accommodations in the area) but you can leave the windows open to cool down at night (I didn’t have any insect problems during my stay). The unit is situated between San Pedro and San Juan so you’ll have easy access to both areas via tuktuk. San Pedro is a loud nightlife area so bring ear plugs (also what other guests have mentioned in their reviews so I was aware when I had booked this). I’m not sure if there are any other spots that you could get the same view without the noise. The unit is outside of the main busy areas so there aren’t any restaurants nearby but it’s really easy to grab a tuktuk right out front for very little (10-15 GTQ). Clemente was also very kind and very responsive. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe staying here.

An excellent place to spend a few days and disconnect. Its location on the outskirts makes it perfect for combining walks to neighboring villages and the tranquility of being outside an urban center.

This is a great studio with kitchen. Propane stove, mid-size fridge, microwave… well done quipped. Curio went out of his way to help us many times. There are other rentals and it was nice to meet guests from all over the world. We recommend this side of Panama: away from tourists, great beach, and walkable.

The accommodation was very comfortable and had a good location, getting there was very easy and the amenities matched those published. The best views, I would return 100%

Sarah was such an amazing host because she was super helpful with transportation arrangements, activity recommendations and responsive to messages. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures and the location was great because there were plenty of restaurant options, it felt safe and is just a short walk away from the lake-side.

The view is even more impressive in person! The apartment itself felt even bigger than what the pictures show. The staff was amazing! Absolutely loved my stay in Panajachel!! 10/10 would stay here again!
