The cabin gave us the opportunity to rest, connect with nature and enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Atitlán. The cabin had complimentary items, was very cozy and very nicely decorated. Hot water, microwave, jacuzzi, comfortable bed are some of the amenities. He recommended Francisco, from the area, who was ready to transport us, get us pizza and give us recommendations. Sharon was very friendly and gave very helpful instructions. The trip was a success and unforgettable.

Beautiful and tranquil spot near San Pedro. The views of the lake were stunning, and the atmosphere was peaceful—great for relaxing. A bit removed from the bustle, but still easy to get into town. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

Don’t wait, BOOK NOW! You won’t regret it, it’s so beautiful & peaceful. A 5 minute walk to their farm full of animals: llamas, chickens, goats, pigs,etc. for free! You also get breakfast included & the people are so attentive & nice. Waking up to the sunrise thru the clear windows is something you have to experience. They have so many activities & a great restaurant too.

Very nice place, with everything you need to have a great time. It has several services included, which makes it worth the price you pay, as you can use the stone tub, jacuzzi, yoga shala, pool, sauna, restaurant and access to the lake with its own dock. We had a great time at this place, thanks for hosting us.

My stay was spectacular! Leah's place is truly gorgeous. If you appreciate craftsmanship and woodwork as art, you'll love this space. I felt my nervous system relax when I arrived. The cabin had everything I needed, and I was able to settle into the lush and cozy surroundings right away. The cabin is nestled in nature, and the views are stunning. Holy wow, the view of the lake from bedroom when you wake up!!! The bed is soooo comfortable too. I really enjoyed noticing the attention Leah put into certain details - the choices of the pieces of wood used for the banisters, or cabinets, and the door upstairs is really cool! Leah was super helpful and resourceful. I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend staying in Leah's beautiful cabin.

Super stay. Byron extremely helpful in helping us navigate the timetables of water taxi's, arranging private rides, making sure house has everything it needs. Beautiful spot, well worth the money. Watch out for the big spider that lives in the bathroom ! :D

Richard was an amazing host very kind and understanding when we needed him to pick us up at the dock he was already ready and quick to come pick us up his breakfast was so delicious and the views where unforgettable we truly felt isolated and at home in his beautiful cabin in the woods it was a nice hike up I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who's looking to be isolated in peaceful tranquility i will definitely be returning sooner than later

The place is very nice, perfect to disconnect from the city routine. Dan and the locals were very kind! The kitchen utensils are very characteristic of the place, it really was a great stay! We didn't even want to go out to the village, since we had everything in one place: landscapes, tranquility and a cozy accommodation. Just as a recommendation, if you're going to cook, bring everything you need because otherwise you'll have to go to town to buy it.

Amazing, comfortable, with an incredible view both day and night in front of the lake, beautiful. I think the super plus for this cabin would be that it will have A/C, but with the fan we sleep super well!!

Very beautiful tiny house close to San Marcos, two minutes walk to the lake, 10 minutes walk to the centre. It has a cosy terrace surrounded by a small strip of garden with trees, birds, squirrels and a cat. The housekeeper Sebastian is a very kind local man, it was a pleasure to meet him.

Excellent service and attention from Marcos, very friendly, the cabin is very comfortable and pleasant. Very nice view and it's a quiet place. The cabin is just as shown in the photos.

Staying at Michelle’s place was great. Located perfectly between San Marcos and tzununa allowed for access to the towns while also a quiet and retreat, and space to get work done. If you have a chance head to tzununa on mondays to take a farm tour of Atitlan Organics and other permaculture projects. The cats were wonderful especially Oscar!

Beautiful property! The view from the porch was incredible. It was our favorite part of staying there. The cabin felt just like home. The property itself was beautiful and it was nice having access to the water. They do have sprinklers going during random times so you might get wet a little heading in or out but it’s a part of the fun! The kitchen was fully stocked and able to make meals there. Shower had hot water every time. It was hard to leave and will definitely stay again if we’re ever back in San Marcos.

We loved our stay at Awanima. We felt extremely taken care of and the views were out of this world. Our two little ones loved waking up each morning and playing in the gardens. We would definitely recommend this space to anyone looking to relax and unwind.

Nice place for relaxing, David was very helpful. The showers are literally the best hot showers I’ve ever had in my life, not even exaggerating. So powerful and hot, and solar powered which was cool. It’s right in front of the Tzununa dock, but there was a lot of construction work on the public infrastructure when I was there (David mentioned it was terrible timing in peak season). I highly recommend not taking a suitcase there, and be prepared to be a little tired because everything requires walking up and down. You need to make sure you take ear plugs, because the cabins are next to the road and although it is only an occasional car, because they are wooden means it sounds like you are next to them. Basically 1 shop and 1 restaurant within a 10 minute walk, so it’s very secluded. Eat before 6pm or you’re not going to get any food without taking a tuk tuk into town. David was very helpful, would stay here again but definitely travel lighter.

It is hard to find a place in this town where you can rent the entire house and have greenery around you. Casa limon was just such a place. The host took the time to explain all the rules and was extremely flexible and accomodating. Very good bohemian vibes. Be sure that you have transportation to and from the village. Jonathan is very familiar with the area and always responded to any questions we had. If you've ever gone camping, or you like how older homes often have unique details about them, then you will enjoy this place. It has a very similar vibe.

A spacious and decorated space. The location is perfect, facing the lake and close to everything. The garden is lovely.

A private cozy cabin in a secluded area in Tzununa with a beautiful view of the lake and the mountain. Home was very clean and equipped with everything we needed . Tastefully decorated. We felt at peace in the home. Tina and Teva are outstanding hosts and very responsive to our needs. Just keep in mind that Tzununa is very rural and there is not much to do but we appreciated the quietness of the village and loved eating at Cafe Tzunun next to the home. The location is slightly remote and hidden, just follow Tina’s check in instructions and you will be fine. Walkable distance to the boat dock but tuk tuks are often available. Don’t be surprised by flat wall spiders, they are harmless. Scorpions are part of lake Atitlan as well . We encountered only one during our week stay and managed to move it outside using Tina’s instruction. Overall we had a pleasant stay at Casa Calibri and felt totally at peace. Definitely a good place to disconnect from the crowd. Thank you Tina and Teva :)
