Cabin vacation rentals in Panajachel

I want to start off by saying that I loved the cabin! Although it was a bit rough going up but it’s all worth it because the view was amazing! Sharon was very responsive and she even recommended a list of people to contact to help us around. I would totally come back to disconnect and be one with the beauty of nature. A perfect getaway for a couple!

Angels place was an amazing find! If you are looking for a place that is surrounded by greenery and a beautiful view this is your place to stay. The staff is very friendly and gives great suggestions with things to do as well as transportation services. Would definitely stay here again 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Carolina’s place! It is a beautiful location, a short tuk tuk ride or walk from the center of Santiago Atitlan, with a dock right on the water. The pool, jacuzzi, temazcal, and private soaking tub (a few steps from the house) were all amazing! We loved the rustic feel of the house, and our 2 kids enjoyed the loft with twin bed and a hammock bed (so fun!). Carolina gave lots of helpful recommendations of things to do, restaurants, contacts, and more. We especially enjoyed the restaurant on-site, with delicious dinners, breakfast, and desserts that you can order there or take to go to the house. We originally booked to stay for 2 nights but ended up adding another night and it was totally worth it! One of our favorite spots to stay on Lake Atitlan so far!

Un lugar muy tranquilo para descansar y tiene salida al lago fácilmente, estuvimos muy cómodos, y Jonathan es muy accesible siempre.

I stayed at Julio's place with my husband and 2 kids. It was a blast! We really enjoyed it! Most beautiful view in that area around the lake ! Julio is very responsible,helpful and friendly as all his stuff! I Would recommend it to all!

Richard was an amazing host very kind and understanding when we needed him to pick us up at the dock he was already ready and quick to come pick us up his breakfast was so delicious and the views where unforgettable we truly felt isolated and at home in his beautiful cabin in the woods it was a nice hike up I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who's looking to be isolated in peaceful tranquility i will definitely be returning sooner than later

Very beautiful tiny house close to San Marcos, two minutes walk to the lake, 10 minutes walk to the centre. It has a cosy terrace surrounded by a small strip of garden with trees, birds, squirrels and a cat. The housekeeper Sebastian is a very kind local man, it was a pleasure to meet him.

Me gustó mucho que la cabaña quedara también a 5 minutos de San Pedro, ya que pudimos visitar ambos pueblos y caminar sin problema. Siempre hay Tuc Tuc disponibles y no tuvimos ninguna mala experiencia. Tomamos lanchas públicas para ir a Santiago y a Pana, todo salió muy bien.

Una cabaña muy bonita y cómoda. Tiene todo lo necesario y más. Bien amueblada y equipada. Lo único a tomar en consideración podría ser colocar un identificador un poco más claro del ingreso y tomar en cuenta que la bajada es bastante estrecha y empinada. Por lo demás es un excelente lugar y se puede llegar fácilmente a cualquiera de los pueblos cercanos ya sea en auto o tuk tuk.

El alojamiento estuvo muy bien, parece un poco pequeño pero está bien. El anfitrión es amable y responde rápido. Por el área sería bueno que lleven repelente de mosquitos. Las camas son cómodas y espaciosas, cumple con todo lo descrito. Gracias por permitirnos alojarnos.

The view was breathtaking, and the cabin was warm and inviting. Staying at Cerro de Oro was a truly special experience. I was captivated by the constant melodies of the birds and the stunning rocks that decorated the surroundings. It's such a wonderful place to unwind and connect with nature. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

This is the perfect nook for a single person or 2 guests. You can walk to everything, and it is safe. If you want a bit more of the Guatemalan experience, stay here! Be mindful of weather. Cabin does not have A/C or heat. We personally loved it, and the temperature inside the cabin was perfect. It only has a small fridge and coffee maker. This is ideal for those that do not want to cook or have to deal with any cleaning up. We highly recommend walking over by the park, there is an area where the local set up grills/food stands at night. This is where we had our best meals. Perfect cabin, will definitely return.

Great cabin with amazing views over lake atitlan. Would recommend for a chill stay! The host was very laid back and they even shipped my camera which I had left behind there to me which I appreciated so much ❤️

Staying at Michelle’s place was great. Located perfectly between San Marcos and tzununa allowed for access to the towns while also a quiet and retreat, and space to get work done. If you have a chance head to tzununa on mondays to take a farm tour of Atitlan Organics and other permaculture projects. The cats were wonderful especially Oscar!

Hiking trails were close by and terrific. Access to the lake was not discovered.

Great place! A little bit away from the town-so getting a tuk tuk can be a little challenging but not too hard. Place was clean and unique! Luis was great at communicating!!

Incredible stay. Delightful and helpful hosts. Every town in Atitlan will offer you something different, Santa Cruz is very peaceful and relaxing on the lakeshore, and largely untouched by tourists in town. This stay is a perfect balance of private and public: you have your private guest house with everything you need, and a shared sun/hammock area and dock. There are other people around, either relaxing in designated common areas or working on the property, but never seemed odd or problematic. Very respectful people. Communal living energy, could be odd to Westerners. I loved it. There will be some bugs downstairs, but not too big a deal, and were not noticed in the bedroom. Keep an eye for a possible scorpion, but that’s all of Atitlan. Elaine and Lee were super friendly, kind and helpful. They also run the kayak/paddle board business at the dock. If it’s not your vibe, understandable, but if you’re game this is an incredible stay. Would definitely return.
