Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Pamlico Sound

We enjoyed a peaceful stay after long days on bikes. We were in town for the NC Coastal ride. After riding for 30+ miles each day we came back to a tranquil location. The home is immaculate. Every item one would ever need was provided. It was perfect to have a full size fridge for our supplies. Beth even left firewood in case we wanted to enjoy the fire pit. We were able to stretch and get in a yoga session on the dock. Yoga mats were provided. The home feels like a ship in that it is surrounded by water. The waves and fresh air made for incredible sleep each night. An osprey nest is outside the window. With the binoculars we were able to watch the progress of the nest and the amazing pair catch fish. The communication throughout the stay was spot on. The “billion dollar” view is remarkable, but the amenities and care from the homeowner make this is top notch vacation spot.

This was our second year at Serene Retreat. It’s just such a wonderful place for young children to enjoy the beach. The fenced in yard is great for their outdoor play. We enjoy cooking in the fabulous kitchen and feasting at the table with a view. Better than any restaurant around! Thank you again.

Nancy’s place was very nice and quiet. It was in a good location, close to restaurants and attractions. Nancy was great with food suggestions.

Really enjoyed our stay in the outer banks. Travis was super responsive and helpful and check in/check out was painless. House was well stocked with everything we could need and was very clean on arrival. Coffee shop was less than a block away, which was nice in the morning. Beach was just a few blocks away and the access had a ramp, which was nice for the wagon and stroller. No ramp on the beach side but if you go down one more access to Admiral, there is a flat beach entry. Back yard area with fire pit and grill was great for relaxing. We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in the outer banks.

Sarah’s home was all we needed and more! The photos matched the home perfectly. Sarah was very responsive, provided local spots to eat and visit. She also reached out regarding an extra night as the home was not booked which we took. I would recommend this home and stay here again!

Tonda was a great host! Easy communication, clear instructions and offered lots of cool info and history about the house. Great location for anything you’re looking to do in Hyde county. Will book again!

My family and I stayed at Rona house for 3 nights it was very comfortably is exactly how I saw in the photos it was very clean. The house has everything you need and is close to restaurants and shopping centers. The best thing is that it's close to the beach and has a parking permit you don’t need it to worry for looking space. Rona response very quickly when I had questions. I Recommended 💯

My family had such an amazing stay here! The house was clean, inviting, and stocked with more than I expected it would be. Tami was a great host! She responded quickly to messages and set up an amazing house. We arrived very late on check in day and Tami made a trip back to the house to turn on lights for our arrival. Walking into an unknown place at midnight was much more comfortable this way. We got inside and our dog ran right to the clean and filled dog water dish for a drink. She thought of all the things :). We had an awesome stay, seamless and flexible check in with a pass code. clean and comfy. A/C and ceiling fans kept it nice and cool, plus there was an additional fan if needed. outdoor area was very private. 10/10 I highly recommend!

I had an amazing few days at Jayme's place. Everything was exactly as described. I look forward to returning. This may sound like a cliche, but it truly is a hidden gem. The apartment is spacious and welcoming. Perfect for a small family or getaway with a few friends. I was able to visit with my family, while having my own quiet space where I could work in the day and see my kids/grandkids in the afternoons and evenings. Just steps away, you can rent a bike and go anywhere. The area is also very walkable. A wonderful restaurant is also just steps away from the property. Everything is very close, including groceries, restaurants, and things to do. And, of course, there is a very easy short stroll to the beach so no worries about looking for parking :) Jayme is super friendly and helpful. It was a treat to meet her. I don't think I have ever met a host in person. I have been fortunate to have wonderful AirBnB experiences, but this has been one of my best.

This is the second time we have stayed with Whitney. She’s always quick to respond to any question. The home is beautiful and the apartment is lovely. You can’t go wrong staying here!

We had a great stay at Casa de Luz! It was a terrific home-base for our first OBX visit. We loved all of the thoughtful touches throughout the apartment. Lots of beach gear was provided, so we didn't have to buy our rent anything. Our kids loved the toys and games that Heather provided as well as the lovely park & playground across the street.

Everything was accurately described and very clean. We enjoyed our stay!

This is our second time staying here and it was just as wonderful and clean as the first. It’s convenient to our family and restaurants! By far the cleanest place we’ve stayed! I love that there are snacks for guests as well as a little “coffee” bar! We are looking forward to next year!

Beautiful place to stay! Cabin was very clean, and decorated beautifully. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner.. he was super nice and friendly. He thanked us for coming, and welcomed us back for another visit. We will definitely be back soon!

This little cabin was in a secluded little spot off the main road. The bnb was spotless and we had everything we needed for our one night stay. The linens were new and very clean. My husband and I stayed with our pup on a long trip from Florida to Ocracoke (to catch the ferry the next day~ 35 min drive) and it was the PERFECT relaxing overnight getaway after a long drive. We saw mentions of lightening bugs in the reviews and were lucky enough to enjoy them during our stay as well! We were thrilled, as we haven’t seen lightning bugs in 10 + years. A storm rolled in overnight and the sound of rain on the cabin was so relaxing. I know these aren’t all things that Lianne had control of, but they were the cherry on top of this perfect little bnb. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!

I got this place for my boyfriend last night and it is TOOOO CUTEEE!!!! I cannot wait until I get to stay there!!! I wish they had these all up and down the East Coast while I was in the Military driving from SC to PA, would have saved me and my son alooot of long nights 😅 Cute, clean, tiny, and private!!! Literally all you need!!! And Mr. Adam was almost IMMEDIATE with his conformation which I was SO GRATEFUL FOR!!!! I was worried I booked too last minute but he was so kind and very helpful and responsive!!!

Longacres lived up to the online description. It is a wonderful rustic cabin in the woods. It was the perfect setting for our photography trip to Alligator River NWR but also just a short distance from the Outer Banks. The cabin was a very comfortable place to unwind and review our images after a day out touring the reserve. I particularly liked the porch bedroom - a great "outdoor" experience. Anne was great host and I hope to return sometime in the near future.
