The landlord is friendly and accommodating. Checking in was easy and the home was cozy and clean. I especially liked the fireplace. At Easter it is still a bit cold in this area, but a fire in the fireplace keeps the room warm and it's fun to watch fire. The village is small and surrounded by forests. There is a small supermarket and a bar. Nearby(10km from the house) is a reservoir equipped with beautiful hiking trails. There's another lake right next to it. There is a swimming beach and boat rental, etc. We had a great holiday with this house.

We had an excellent stay and only have positive things to say about this place—our whole group thoroughly enjoyed it. The property was clean, well-equipped, and very warm, which was perfect for our December visit. The private backyard was a highlight, especially for our dogs. Its location is very convenient, right on the main road, making it easy to reach Strasbourg and explore nearby Christmas markets like those in Colmar and Riquewihr. Highly recommended!

Even though the construction work on the main road made the access a bit confusing when driving in the first time, but no worries there is no construction noise! This cottage is simply to be recommended for all the positive points listed below. The accommodation was pleasant and corresponded in every way to what was advertised on the site. It was very well equipped and functional: we did not lack anything and we could live there as soon as we arrived (dishes, cleaning products and equipment, coffee, fan, ...). Nathalie and her husband were very welcoming, responsive and attentive hosts. Among all the positives, it is worth pointing out that the accommodation was impeccably clean. In addition, the proximity to shops (supermarkets, local shops, ...) as well as major roads is a plus to emphasize.
