Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Pakefield

We stayed in this beautiful house for a long weekend as a family celebration for my 70th birthday which was in April. As my family live in 3 different county’s we succeeded in getting them all together including our 14 months old great grandson. The layout of the house was ideal for what we wanted. The only very minor problem was there wasn’t any condiments which we expected would have been supplied. The host was easily accessible if we needed her and everyone commented how comfy the beds were.

Excellent accommodation over looking the river with a pub/restaurant within 100m. Local walks to exercise or look at the local nature. Ideal accommodation to fit our family in and a great place to relax or travel to local attractions. Emma was great providing us with all the useful information you would otherwise have to research yourself. All the space was spot on and the hot Tub was fantastic to relax in either day or night. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely house, clean and well organized. Neighbours are friendly and Rachel the host has a welcome drinks prepared which is quiet thoughtful. Overall..satisfied customer

Our second stay at T&T’s beautiful home. Myself and my partner John could not fault the hosts in any way, the property is beautiful and even some added extras since our last stay and our suggestion listened to from before. Hosts were amazing when we had issues with heating and hot water and their handy man was very friendly and fixed the issue as quickly as possible. Such generous and amazing hosts. We look forward to hopefully returning in the future.

This place was fantastic. Everything you need for a party is there. The communication with the host was slow but I was told he was hospitalised and very sick. Hope you get well soon Andrew. The price for it was alot for a day I wish I could chek in around 11am or noon to have more time in the place. Nothing to complain about the place. very clean and it was full of everything you need. I was celebrating my 30th Birthday and I wish I could get discounts for this place to come again and again for more parties 🥳.

We had a great couple of days at Merries Byre - we wished we could have stayed longer. The house was lovely and in a great location. Even the weather held out for us!

We had a beautiful weekend at the cottage & only wish we could have stayed for longer! Better even in real life, the cottage has been perfectly renovated and is in a gorgeous location. We were blessed with brilliant weather both days so enjoyed a lovely 5km loop through the park and fields and had breakfast on the sunny terrace! 100% recommend a stay. Took trips out to both Southwold and Aldeburgh, which was within easy driving distance. And highly recommend Black Dog Deli in Yoxford for coffee & pastries! 🥐

Both children and dogs really liked the house. Stylish interior and amazing location. Also managed to park cars outside on each day.

It is a lovely flat in a great location, near the lighthouse, with a sea view. A perfect place as a base to discover the town and the wonderful beach. We loved it. However there’s a couple of things worth noting. Firstly the access to the flat is up an external set of iron steps. Not too much of an issue for us but they are possibly unsuitable for anyone with poor mobility. Secondly, the listing says that there is “free parking on premises.” There isn’t. If you dig deeper into the information (which I didn’t) you’ll find it says “Parking: Private garage - located 700 yards from property.” For us this wasn’t a problem because we visited out of season and parking was available in St James Green, just outside the flat. But during busy holiday period it is unlikely that spaces will be available. All in all though I can recommend this rental.

we had the most fantastic stay and will definitely be back. we've been to lowestoft before but the location here made it even better. sea views from the apartment. the place is immaculate. I was worried about noise from neighbours as we usually stay in houses, but it's over 2 floors with the bedrooms being on the top floor - perfect. the kitchen is brand new as are the bathrooms, no expense has been spared. the beds are very comfy and the linen was amazing. even a bottle of bubbly waiting for us - thank you! our only very minor quibble was the blinds in the bedrooms don't fully cover the windows, we wore eye Masks which was no drama but our 6 year old was up very early every morning. next time we will pack a travel black out blind. that's our only very minor issue in a perfect and stunning apartment. thank you 😊

Absolutely brilliant stay here. Me and my husband needed to stay for a few nights in Norwich due to nearby hospital visits. This one stood out as being close to where we needed to be, close to the city centre (about 10 mins walk) and was very reasonably priced. The property is in an area with lots of shops and restaurants nearby but far enough out of the centre to be really quiet and peaceful. It truly was so relaxing. The place is even better than the photos. It’s really large inside and the high ceilings make it appear so spacious and uncluttered. We will definitely return to the property when coming to the city in the future. Ps The parking really was a rare bonus too!

We had a wonderful stay, Mike made us feel so welcome and had thought of everything. A spacious property in a peaceful location, ideal for walks and even a trip to Blickling Hall over the weekend.

A really comfortable and cosy apartment. The city centre is within easy reach and the parking space was a real bonus. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Such a wonderful place to stay for the few days we were there. Close to many restaurants and coffee shops, and walkable to many sights and landmarks. David was extremely attentive and accommodating and offered local recommendations for food, etc. would 100% stay again in the future. really made our stay in Norwich special.

We stayed for 4 nights with Helens caravan. This was by far one of the most loveliest caravans we been to as a family ! It was super clean and very homely. To the point that Helen and Paul had left us some sweet treats, milk,fresh Bread and snacks even sauces in the fridge ! You could have thought of something and it was there !The caravan has linen and extra towels, washing machine, air fryer and coffee machine . It really was home from home. The children loved all the game and dvds and thr large tv.the bed was one of the most comfortable beds we slept in that wasnt a hotel. The area is lovely and great for dogs and children alike. Beautiful natural area and swimming. many choices of places to eat and things to do ! Helen was always available to talk to and this trip she made us feel very looked after, i was greatful for all your help on our trip. So happy i booked and will definitely love to go again just for the caravan alone. Hope to see you soon in the year.
