Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Pakefield

Dunwich is a beautiful seaside village with an interesting history. Beach was good (by North Sea standards but be sure to either have feet like old boots or preferably a pair of swimming shoes. The house is perfect for a family get as ours was with grandparents, maiden aunts, youngish couple and a toddler. Everything you could need and more.

Welcoming light & airy place with tasteful décor, comfy bedding and very comfortable living room. Kitchen though small is incredibly well stocked, both with food (including pantry items and fresh treats provided in fridge) and tools for those that like cooking: we made the most of them! A real cooks' kitchen. Bathroom also has a you-don't-need-to-bring-it completeness. Enchanting garden with outdoor seating, & handsome hens(with delicious free eggs!) for added interest. Nice country walks, and Rebecca & Richard are delightfully friendly, generous, knowledgeable and helpful. A special nook of England!

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in previous reviews. Marian was a fabulous host and also Michelle, who oversees the running of Old Chapel House. We arrived to find the table in the kitchen all set out for dinner. Great fun was had in the evening playing croquet in the fabulous garden and then games around the kitchen table. Fresh flowers in each of the rooms was a lovely touch. Knowing one of my sons was home for our family wedding at Waxham Barn, Marian had arranged an Australian pineapple cake for us to enjoy, together with locally sourced marmalade and apple juice. It was also helpful to find plenty of items such as tea, coffee, condiments etc. My one request to my family was for a slice of sourdough bread, delivered on the Saturday morning, be left for me after having my hair and makeup done. Sadly, it had all been demolished! The house clearly was a previously well loved family home. We had a fantastic stay and will most definitely be returning.

A real home from home in one of Norfolks none gentrified villages. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The two main bedrooms are massive. So deceiving from the outside. If it ever went on the market, I’d buy it.

We had the most lovely family holiday here. With a 3 and 1 year old this property had everything we needed to make us feel all feel right at home. A cot, high chair, bib, black out binds, you name it. The river and decking at the bottom of the garden was just so peaceful, our go to spot. We watched nesting swans and ducks, we all loved it. Thank you Hannah for having us. You have a beautiful Airbnb!!

Just had the most wonderful stay at Penny’s place. Southwold is our happy place and this house is in the best location with great sea views and round the corner from The Nelson. Excellent communication from Penny.

Lovely old cottage; very well appointed and very comfortable. I can't fault it. it's in an ideal location for Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh, Framlingham, Woodbridge and the Suffolk coast. The owner is really nice too. Highly recommended.

The house is stunning. We were a party of 6 adults and a baby for joint birthday celebrations. The kitchen and lounge layout was superb for cooking, lounging and celebrating and so light with the huge windows making it feel as if the garden and house were one. The bedrooms were all big, the beds and bedding beautiful quality. Showers were great. The layout of the house suited us very well with a good distance between lounge/ kitchen area and bedrooms so as not disturb a sleeping baby in the day or evening. Lots of games left for entertainment in and outside the house. The hot tub and BBQ were a huge hit, easy to light and maintain. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again, really very happy to have found Rumi's Field. Thank you to Alice and Andrew who were so helpful when we had some extra questions before staying.

A lovely comfortable holiday chalet. Everything one could wish for and not far from the essential shops. The wifi was excellent and made remote working possible. A responsive host always willing to help.

We had a great week in this bright and cosy holiday Chalet. The advertising photos in my opinion show it for exactly what it is. The accommodation had everything we needed from a well stocked kitchen to comfortable beds. We had some lovely warm sunny weather whilst we were there for the week so it was in a great location for coastal runs/walks and nice beaches not far. The White Horse Inn was also an added bonus just a stones throw away, with descent pub grub. We also used the Chinese takeaway next to the pub which was very satisfying. We are a family of four with a 15 year old son and 11 year old daughter and we would all recommend this chalet and location if you enjoy a peaceful environment with lots to do without having to travel too far. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had such a fantastic stay and we felt right at home. Everything was clean, well looked after and the chalet was equipped with more than you could need. Everything was thought out to give guests the best experience and there was a lovely welcome basket to give an extra special touch.The location was perfect with a nature reserve and lovely park within a few minutes walking distance. Would recommend over and over, will be staying again!

Janice made us feel very welcome with a generous hamper upon our arrival. There were lots of thoughtful extras, tea, coffee and milk as well as extra towels, pillows and blankets. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this lovely holiday home. Thank you.

We booked a few nights away, very well kept and clean chalet. Hosts were very attentive to any messages or questions we had. Made our weekend very enjoyable and we will be booking again

Alan and Sue were perfect hosts. Place was easy to find, has everything you could possibly need and in a beautiful park.

We were originally meant to stay at a holiday park in kessingland, but upon finding out we needed to bring our own bed linen and no wifi we decided to look elsewhere and found Kate and Dereks chalet instead, and so glad we did! It was spotless! They have everything you could possibly need, and I appreciated the selection of glassware as you don’t normally come across red and white wine glasses in an Airbnb. The kingside bed was super comfy all round. The balcony is enclosed so this was handy for the dogs. We didn’t use any facilities at the park but you can reach the local nature reserve on foot in 15 mins and found this convenient for EV charging (available at the site but bit more expensive). Kate and Derek were very friendly and responsive when required

Had a great long weekend at the house. So easy to walk to the beach each day and local pub was also great for food.

Pips Cottage was a lovely quaint place, based in a location that opened up lots of other opportunities to get out and about around Suffolk. Ringsfield itself is a sleepy place, with just a pub for leisure time. The cottage was perfect for what we wanted, quiet, but accessible enough to other areas. The cottage is lovely and cosy and had everything you needed for a few days away. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely break at the cottage! We stayed for 3 nights and found plenty to do during the days! Our dog loved all of the walks, especially the marsh trail walk. We found a Wetherspoons round the corner, plenty of cafes and shops! Great location. We also went to kessingland beach, perfect for a quieter stroll and only a short drive away. The cottage was very tidy, with a lovely welcoming gift on arrival! Thank you!

Are you a couple with a lovely furry friend? So ,this is the best place you could go for. Clean, peaceful, spacious, lots of ground around for walk. Excellent! I will be back , for sure!

Ali’s place is beautifully and tastefully decorated It is also well designed so that our multi generational family gathering at the house had plenty of space in rooms with comfortable beds and fantastic showers as well as an enormous bath in the family bathroom . We enjoyed family meals around the big table in the dining room with an enviable outlook to the sea, using the excellent kitchen facilities and equipment. The house is a minute’s walk from the beach and promenade and a few minutes walk to the local shops of Kirkley. It’s the sort of house that makes you dream of having a place of your own by the seaside. Thanks Ali.

We had a lovely stay at Kipper Cottage. The area is quiet, really close to the beach and a 15 minute walk into Lowestoft. The house was really clean and tidy and really well stocked. There was everything we needed in the kitchen, fans in the bedrooms, board games and a lovely pack of biscuits and bottle of fizz. Michele was really good at communicating and gave us easy instructions on check in. Would definitely recommend and stay here again
