Absolutely loved the house. It’s beautiful, very thoughtfully decorated with Hawaiian furniture and books. The place was clean and the kitchen had all the basic condiments and cutlery one may need. Dana, the host was always responsive and also proactively informed us when the volcano was erupting. Thanks for the wonderful stay! Totally recommend this

Tom and Christen's place was probably the best STR I've stayed in. It was immaculate, wonderfully decorated and appointed, and so cozy. We loved the ocean view from the lanai. The whole complex is quiet and peaceful and only about 30 minutes from HVNP, which was a plus for us as we were hoping to see Kilauea erupt (and we did!). The kitchen had everything we needed and the whole place stayed cool with the sea breeze, windows and overhead fans. Tom was so communicative and helpful both before and during our trip. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

We loved staying here. The view was incredible and we were able to enjoy fresh citrus and mangoes right from the trees. We did have one minor issue but it was resolved quickly and it didn’t disrupt our stay. The fact that they handled it so quickly is a huge plus for us. There were only two of us but this house is big enough for a family, plus there’s an Ohana next door to rent for even more space. The king bed was super comfortable and we had lots of fresh breezes throughout the house. The internet is crazy fast and there’s lots of tv to watch when you’re not at the beach or Southpoint Cliffs. The road going the last 1/4 mile is a bit rough, but our small car did great, just go slow. The little town that’s close is cute and there’s gas and coffee shops and some other little stores, plus a post office. Mostly quiet here. You’ll hear lots of birds and every once in a while a pig at night. We had some random cats and dogs come by that were friendly and wanted pets. Would stay here again.

I had a comfortable stay. I loved the local bread and produce in the kitchen. Avocado toast with banana and papaya was amazing sitting on the front lanai. The bed was quite relaxing with lots of soothing pillows for a perfectly restful sleep.
