Cottage vacation rentals in Padul

At Casa Lopez, we stayed for 1.5 months as 5 adults, a child, and a dog. Occasionally, we were up to 10 people, but space was never an issue. The villa is beautiful with stunning views of the mountains and surroundings. The mountain road to the villa adds charm, and the place feels comfortable and safe—even accessible with a Fiat 500. The villa is more spacious than the photos suggest. Rafael, the host, showed us all the amenities: pool, Jacuzzi, and game room—all in perfect order. We also worked from the villa using the internet without any issues. The area is picturesque, close to beaches, mountains, and towns, with plenty to do. The hosts are very kind and helpful, even recommending a mechanic when needed. After 1.5 months, we still felt their warmth and friendliness. Leaving Casa Lopez was emotional for us. So, I recommend the villa for vacations, as well as a place where after work you can open some wine and jump into the pool. I wish everyone an equally wonderful stay.

Carmen is heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze reageert heel snel op berichten. We kregen een warm welkom met een lekker fruitmandje en uitleg hoe alles werkt. Heerlijk huis om bij te komen en vakantie te vieren en dus zeker een aanrader. Enig minpuntje is slecht wegdek onderweg er naartoe en navigatie geeft eigenlijk andere locatie aan. De weg is denk ik beter begaanbaar met een terrein wagen of auto met 4 wiel aandrijving.

We had a really great time in Madre Tierra. Rafa welcomed us and was really helpful for any request we had. The house is comfy, calm and with a great view, close to nice mountain paths. Totally recommended. Thanks again Rafa!

Maricarmen and Pepe are welcoming and generous hosts! The place is comfortable, quiet and beautiful. Amazing view from the rooftop terrace, and we could see the stars at night. Very responsive hosts for anything you need. They greeted us with a nice fire in the villa when we arrived, we felt right at home. Hope you be back soon!

Zeer rustig en mooi gelegen villa, een perfecte vakantie om tot rust te komen. Juan is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Zeer proper en goed uitgerust zwembad! Wat ook heel leuk was is dat we al de groeten uit de eigen moestuin van juan mochten gebruiken. Niets beter dan vers en eigen teelt! De cortijo van Juan is zeker een aanrader!

Una casa tipica en el precioso pueblo de Pampaneira. Todo perfecto. Todo lo necesario para disfrurar de unos dias de descanso. Repetiremos.

We stayed here for 4 weeks (family of 3) and it was the most wonderful holiday! So peaceful and quiet, well equipped house and a lovely pool. The beds are really comfortable and the aircon in the bedrooms was brilliant. Cómpeta is a beautiful town and worth a visit. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

We hebben een paar heerlijke dagen gehad in deze prachtige vakantiewoning! De ligging is adembenemend, omringd door mooie routes en charmante stadjes. Het zwembad was echt een pluspunt – rustig, privé en perfect om te ontspannen. De buitenruimte met de barbecue was geweldig en we hebben er volop van genoten. De woning was van alle gemakken voorzien en voelde direct als een fijne plek om tot rust te komen. Miguel was een attente en prettige host. Door een grote, onverwachte stroomuitval in Spanje moesten we helaas iets eerder vertrekken vanwege belangrijke communicatieverplichtingen – dit lag absoluut niet aan de woning of de host. Voor lange Nederlanders zoals wij waren de bedden net iets aan de korte kant, maar verder hebben we heerlijk geslapen. Een plek die we zeker aanbevelen en waar we met veel plezier aan terugdenken

Super gezellig knus huisje, met geweldig terras! Het dorp heeft van alles, vooral vriendelijke mensen! Luca is een geweldige host, super goede service! Heel erg bedankt Luca!

alojamiento de 10, todo limpisimo, atención máxima con nosotros. Nos dejó café, azúcar, infusiones, un detalle. Es un anfitrión de 10, hablé con el para poder entrar un poco antes y sin problemas. Cuando llegamos nos habia dejado la calefacción puesta para calentar la casa, todo un detalle. El año que viene volveremos de nuevo. es todo un anfitrion, recomendable 100%.

Mo and Lucy”s beautiful home is a little piece of heaven. We had a wonderful time here relaxing in the gorgeous cottage and enjoying the pool, surrounded by well cared for gardens. Mo and Lucy are lovely welcoming hosts and made the stay even more enjoyable- Mo”s generous gifts of fruit and vegetables from his garden were the icing on the cake. Wij hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf bij Maria en Oliver. Ze zijn vriendelijk, gastvrij en heel behulpzaam, en hebben goede tips voor restaurants en uitstapjes. Het appartement is mooi ingericht, met een fijne keuken, een bbq en goede bedden. Er stond zelfs vers fruit (deels uit eigen tuin) en een fles wijn op ons te wachten bij aankomst! Een leuke verrassing. Het privé-terras heeft een fantastisch uitzicht en er is een schoon en fijn zwembad om lekker in af te koelen. Je kunt gebruik maken van de prachtige tuin, die nu (begin mei) prachtig in bloei stond (olijf-, avocado-, citroen- en sinaasappelbomen, bloemen…). We hebben vanuit het appartement een dag Granada bezocht, dat is goed aan te rijden. Ook hebben we gewandeld en de mooie bergdorpjes van de Alpajurra bezocht, én in de Middelandse zee gezwommen. Wij hebben afgelopen week echt genoten van ons verblijf in dit kleine paradijs, en komen graag nog een keer terug.

Where to start? Picture yourself making long hikes near waterfalls, roman bridges, sleepy villages, green bushes, before returning to casa Alpujarra. Then cool down in the fresh water of the swimming pool, read your book on your private terrace, walk through the big garden, do a short sleep on the sofacama with mountainvew. Then prepare delicious food on the private bbq with fish the owners brought for you, and herbs you found in the mountains, have desert with cherries from the garden, make a fire and watch the stars untill you fall asleep. Besides this we enjoyed the talks, the games, the hot shower and everything you need for cooking and more. Leaving was difficult. So what can you do, except planning a return?

Ons verblijf in de studio van Gert en Bruno was top. Er was vooraf een vlotte communicatie en het uur van aankomst werd op hun eigen voorstel vervroegd. Dat was voor ons een stuk praktischer. Na een stevige klim met de auto kregen we een rondleiding op het domein. Geen verrassingen. Alles zoals op de site. Meer nog: véél mooier. Mooie tuin, mooi zwembad, mooie studio, prachtig uitzicht op Torrox costa en de vallei. De rust die je hier ervaart .... De gastheren zijn zeer hulpvaardig en verzorgen alles tot in de puntjes. Een echte aanrader. Kortom, een locatie om terug te komen. Nico en Martine

Ha sido un placer alojarnos en la casa de Antonio y Maribel. Todo perfecto y el lugar no puede ser mejor . Unas vistas de Sierra Nevada espectaculares. Una terraza que invita a relajarse viendo el atardecer sobre Güejar Sierra. La casa tiene de todo, no se echa en falta nada. Y tanto Antonio como Maribel han sido unos excelentes anfitriones , siempre pendientes de que no faltará de nada. Totalmente recomendable, vamos, estoy seguro de volveré.

La casa es preciosa, incluso más bonita que en las fotos. La habitación de arriba es una maravilla. Está en un entorno super tranquilo y con paseitos cerca. La piscina, la barbacoa. Todo super completo, con muchos detalles. Hemos pasado unos días maravillosos. Destacó la comodidad de las camas y las almohadas!!! Muchas gracias

I am almost a professional traveler, and just before coming to that place I thought: that’s it, only hotels in future . And then that: wow. What a beautiful place, what a wonderful goal in life: revitalizing a whole village, a lost village. And how: an amazing restaurant, friendly people, a place you do not feel as at home, you are at home. Decades of traveling till you find a perfect space, thanks for that. It was a real pleasure and an experience for real travelers, far away from the hotel bunkers and overloaded beaches and cities. We had a fantastic vacation at Antonia’s house in Viñuela. The view and location exceeded our expectations — even better than in the photos. The house is spacious and comfortably accommodates six people. The outdoor area is generous, with a lovely veranda, outdoor kitchen and a marvelous view over valley and hills reaching into the ocean. The property is easy to access, fully fenced, and gated for added security. The ocean and hiking areas are within short range. All amenities are exactly as described. Communication with Antonio was excellent — he is a friendly and attentive host. We would highly recommend this house; it offers great value for the price.

We stayed two nights on a walking holiday through the Alpujarras in this lovely old house in a peaceful part of the town beautifully restored by Belen and her family It was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the terraces were a wonderful place to unwind. It is clear that a lot of love has been poured into this place. We ate in both nights as the kitchen is well equipped and has all the condiments and bits and pieces you need Belen was very friendly, helpful and communicative, which really added to our stay We really enjoyed our stay at Belen's place and would have no hesitation in returning or recommending it to others

Wir wurden herzlich von Reijer in Empfang genommen. Zur Begrüßung gab es auch noch eine gute Flasche Wein, die wir bei Sonnenuntergang auf der Terrasse genossen. Vor dem Haus ein großer Zitronenhain…der Duft war betörend! Der Start war einfach perfekt! Die Casita ist wunderschön und stilvoll dekoriert und perfekt ausgestattet mit allem, was man brauchen könnte. Die Möglichkeit, uns sowohl auf der Terrasse mit tollem Blick als auch im schönen grünen Innenhof zu entspannen, haben wir sehr genossen. Schon vor der Ankunft empfahl uns Reijer verschiedene Wanderungen und auch ansonsten war die Kommunikation mit ihm stets hilfreich, nett und unmittelbar. Das Bett war sehr bequem mit einer guten Matratze und am Morgen der Blick vom Bett aus dem Fenster auf die Berge ist nicht zu toppen 👍 Wir empfehlen die Casita zu 100% weiter.
