Cottage vacation rentals in Padul

At Casa Lopez, we stayed for 1.5 months as 5 adults, a child, and a dog. Occasionally, we were up to 10 people, but space was never an issue. The villa is beautiful with stunning views of the mountains and surroundings. The mountain road to the villa adds charm, and the place feels comfortable and safe—even accessible with a Fiat 500. The villa is more spacious than the photos suggest. Rafael, the host, showed us all the amenities: pool, Jacuzzi, and game room—all in perfect order. We also worked from the villa using the internet without any issues. The area is picturesque, close to beaches, mountains, and towns, with plenty to do. The hosts are very kind and helpful, even recommending a mechanic when needed. After 1.5 months, we still felt their warmth and friendliness. Leaving Casa Lopez was emotional for us. So, I recommend the villa for vacations, as well as a place where after work you can open some wine and jump into the pool. I wish everyone an equally wonderful stay.

Carmen is very very friendly and helpful. She responds to messages very quickly. We received a warm welcome with a nice fruit basket and explanation of how everything works. Lovely house to recover and celebrate holidays and therefore definitely recommended. The only downside is poor road surface on the way there and navigation actually indicates a different location. I think the road is better accessible with a terrain wagon or car with 4 wheel drive.

We had a really great time in Madre Tierra. Rafa welcomed us and was really helpful for any request we had. The house is comfy, calm and with a great view, close to nice mountain paths. Totally recommended. Thanks again Rafa!

Maricarmen and Pepe are welcoming and generous hosts! The place is comfortable, quiet and beautiful. Amazing view from the rooftop terrace, and we could see the stars at night. Very responsive hosts for anything you need. They greeted us with a nice fire in the villa when we arrived, we felt right at home. Hope you be back soon!

A lovely villa in beautiful surroundings. we were very comfortable and had everything we needed, plus the tomatoes from Juan Antonio's garden were absolutely delicious. The pool was perfect for the kids and it was so peaceful. Great bar nearby in Restabal. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much :)

We stayed here for 4 weeks (family of 3) and it was the most wonderful holiday! So peaceful and quiet, well equipped house and a lovely pool. The beds are really comfortable and the aircon in the bedrooms was brilliant. Cómpeta is a beautiful town and worth a visit. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

We had a wonderful week at casa Fuentezuelas. The house and it’s surroundings were even more beautiful than the pictures showed. Breathtaking view and very peaceful. The house was very clean and charming and had everything we needed.

We just spent a few wonderful days in this house and everything was perfect. The house is impeccable, very well equipped, and in a quiet environment that allowed us to completely disconnect. In addition, I want to highlight the kindness and attention of Pablo, the owner. From the first moment, he was very attentive and always willing to help with any questions or needs we had. He made us feel right at home. Definitely an option I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to rest and enjoy. We'll be back for sure!"

A 10-star accommodation, everything was very clean, and the attention we received was the best. He left us coffee, sugar, infusions, a nice touch. He's a 10-star host, I spoke with him to be able to check in a little earlier and without any problems. When we arrived, he had left the heating on to warm the house, a very nice touch. Next year we'll be back again. He's quite the host, 100% recommended.

Mo and Lucy”s beautiful home is a little piece of heaven. We had a wonderful time here relaxing in the gorgeous cottage and enjoying the pool, surrounded by well cared for gardens. Mo and Lucy are lovely welcoming hosts and made the stay even more enjoyable- Mo”s generous gifts of fruit and vegetables from his garden were the icing on the cake. We really enjoyed our stay with Maria and Oliver. They are friendly, welcoming and very helpful, and have good tips for restaurants and excursions. The apartment is nicely decorated, with a nice kitchen, a BBQ and good beds. There was even fresh fruit (partly from your own garden) and a bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival! A nice surprise. The private terrace has a fantastic view and there is a clean and nice swimming pool to cool off in. You can use the beautiful garden, which was now (early May) beautifully in bloom (olive, avocado, lemon and orange trees, flowers…). We visited Granada for a day from the apartment, which is easy to drive to. We also walked and visited the beautiful mountain villages of the Alpajurra, and swam in the Mediterranean Sea. We really enjoyed our stay in this little paradise last week, and would love to come back again.

Where to start? Picture yourself making long hikes near waterfalls, roman bridges, sleepy villages, green bushes, before returning to casa Alpujarra. Then cool down in the fresh water of the swimming pool, read your book on your private terrace, walk through the big garden, do a short sleep on the sofacama with mountainvew. Then prepare delicious food on the private bbq with fish the owners brought for you, and herbs you found in the mountains, have desert with cherries from the garden, make a fire and watch the stars untill you fall asleep. Besides this we enjoyed the talks, the games, the hot shower and everything you need for cooking and more. Leaving was difficult. So what can you do, except planning a return?

We absolutely loved our stay at Gert & Bruno’s! We visited as a family with our 2.5 year old son, the setting was perfect. From the pool right out our door, to the super friendly and fun sausage dogs and finally, the chickens with fresh eggs everyday, we had more than enough to be entertained but also to relax and enjoy. The cottage was really great and high quality, we would have stayed longer if we could. Would definitely visit again and recommend!

It was a pleasure to stay at Antonio and Maribel's house. Everything is perfect and the place couldn't be better. Spectacular views of Sierra Nevada. A terrace that invites you to relax watching the sunset over Güejar Sierra. The house has everything, nothing is missing. And both Antonio and Maribel have been excellent hosts, always making sure that nothing is missing. Totally recommended, come on, I'm sure I'll be back.

The house is beautiful, even nicer than the pictures. The upstairs room is wonderful. It's in a super quiet environment and with walks nearby. The pool, the barbecue. Everything was super complete, with a lot of detail. We've had a wonderful few days. I'd like to highlight the comfort of the beds and pillows!!! Thank you

I am almost a professional traveler, and just before coming to that place I thought: that’s it, only hotels in future . And then that: wow. What a beautiful place, what a wonderful goal in life: revitalizing a whole village, a lost village. And how: an amazing restaurant, friendly people, a place you do not feel as at home, you are at home. Decades of traveling till you find a perfect space, thanks for that. It was a real pleasure and an experience for real travelers, far away from the hotel bunkers and overloaded beaches and cities. We had a fantastic vacation at Antonia’s house in Viñuela. The view and location exceeded our expectations — even better than in the photos. The house is spacious and comfortably accommodates six people. The outdoor area is generous, with a lovely veranda, outdoor kitchen and a marvelous view over valley and hills reaching into the ocean. The property is easy to access, fully fenced, and gated for added security. The ocean and hiking areas are within short range. All amenities are exactly as described. Communication with Antonio was excellent — he is a friendly and attentive host. We would highly recommend this house; it offers great value for the price.

We stayed two nights on a walking holiday through the Alpujarras in this lovely old house in a peaceful part of the town beautifully restored by Belen and her family It was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the terraces were a wonderful place to unwind. It is clear that a lot of love has been poured into this place. We ate in both nights as the kitchen is well equipped and has all the condiments and bits and pieces you need Belen was very friendly, helpful and communicative, which really added to our stay We really enjoyed our stay at Belen's place and would have no hesitation in returning or recommending it to others

We were warmly welcomed by Reijer. As a welcome, there was also a good bottle of wine, which we enjoyed on the terrace at sunset. In front of the house is a large lemon grove…the scent was beguiling! The start was just perfect! The Casita is beautifully and stylishly decorated and perfectly equipped with everything you could need. We enjoyed the opportunity to relax both on the terrace with great views and in the beautiful green courtyard. Even before our arrival, Reijer recommended various hikes and otherwise the communication with him was always helpful, nice and direct. The bed was very comfortable with a good mattress and in the morning the view from the bed out the window to the mountains is unbeatable 👍 We recommend the Casita 100%.
