Cottage vacation rentals in Padul

At Casa Lopez, we stayed for 1.5 months as 5 adults, a child, and a dog. Occasionally, we were up to 10 people, but space was never an issue. The villa is beautiful with stunning views of the mountains and surroundings. The mountain road to the villa adds charm, and the place feels comfortable and safe—even accessible with a Fiat 500. The villa is more spacious than the photos suggest. Rafael, the host, showed us all the amenities: pool, Jacuzzi, and game room—all in perfect order. We also worked from the villa using the internet without any issues. The area is picturesque, close to beaches, mountains, and towns, with plenty to do. The hosts are very kind and helpful, even recommending a mechanic when needed. After 1.5 months, we still felt their warmth and friendliness. Leaving Casa Lopez was emotional for us. So, I recommend the villa for vacations, as well as a place where after work you can open some wine and jump into the pool. I wish everyone an equally wonderful stay.

Carmen is very very friendly and helpful. She responds to messages very quickly. We received a warm welcome with a nice fruit basket and explanation of how everything works. Lovely house to recover and celebrate holidays and therefore definitely recommended. The only downside is poor road surface on the way there and navigation actually indicates a different location. I think the road is better accessible with a terrain wagon or car with 4 wheel drive.

We had a really great time in Madre Tierra. Rafa welcomed us and was really helpful for any request we had. The house is comfy, calm and with a great view, close to nice mountain paths. Totally recommended. Thanks again Rafa!

Maricarmen and Pepe are welcoming and generous hosts! The place is comfortable, quiet and beautiful. Amazing view from the rooftop terrace, and we could see the stars at night. Very responsive hosts for anything you need. They greeted us with a nice fire in the villa when we arrived, we felt right at home. Hope you be back soon!

We had a lovely stay here. We loved the farm style of the house, and it was very clean. It had all the amenities we needed. Beautiful location among the olive trees. They allowed our dogs, which was very nice. Super kind hosts, they had made a fire for us in the fire place so the house was nice and warm when we arrived. We will definitely come back.

We just spent a few wonderful days in this house and everything was perfect. The house is impeccable, very well equipped, and in a quiet environment that allowed us to completely disconnect. In addition, I want to highlight the kindness and attention of Pablo, the owner. From the first moment, he was very attentive and always willing to help with any questions or needs we had. He made us feel right at home. Definitely an option I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to rest and enjoy. We'll be back for sure!"

Really lovely spot with amazing, large pool, that you can actually swim in, even with a group of eight, outdoor seating to relax and enjoy views. Our group appreciated all the separate bathrooms and cooking indoors and out and eating on the balcony. Host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! Malaga, Marbella, and Granada are all about an hour to an hour and a half away. El Torcal ( remarkable rock formations on a hike) is only 1 hour. Walkable little market for beer/wine. We came by car, so not sure about public transportation. Do be aware that there is no dishwasher, but the lovely unique dishes are great. Occasionally you hear neighboring dogs , but the road is quiet. I especially recommend going to Museo Etnológico de Riogordo a little local museum about Andalusian culture/ historical life it is a gem off the tourist beaten path. Enjoy! Mo and Lucy”s beautiful home is a little piece of heaven. We had a wonderful time here relaxing in the gorgeous cottage and enjoying the pool, surrounded by well cared for gardens. Mo and Lucy are lovely welcoming hosts and made the stay even more enjoyable- Mo”s generous gifts of fruit and vegetables from his garden were the icing on the cake. It was a wonderful place surrounded by nature with a great view of the mountains. We really enjoyed the peace and quietness. Aingeal was very friendly and helpful and always ready to assist with any questions. We would definitely like to come back again.

Quietly located in the hills around Alcoucin, William and Simone's cottage hides under the smell of the bougainvillea and the shade of the surrounding olive trees. A true oasis an hour's drive from the beautiful city of Malaga and the charming Torre del Mar. The cottage really offers everything you need. Fast WiFi connection, a beautiful bedroom with great bed, a spacious bathroom, a well-equipped kitchenette and not to mention, the beautifully located swimming pool. It is a very cozy cottage in a very beautiful environment. The reception was very warm and everything was super clean and well equipped (in terms of kitchen utensils, towels, bedding, ...). The cottage is a bit remote, but with a nice view and yet also easily accessible. Recommended!

The outside of the accommodation is a real little cocoon with a magnificent view. Easy and available contact.

We stayed at Cortijo Los Chinos from 27th - 31st December 2024. The house and surrounding area is an Oasis, an ideallic getaway for those longing for a few days of peace and quiet. You can cosy up by the fire place or go for a swim in the pool. We didn't use the pool on this trip but we will definitely be back in warmer weather. The house was very clean and comfortable. We were visited by a number of cats from neighbouring properties. They were very loving and cleanly kept and kept us company as we missed our own cats who had to stay at home. The grounds were full of orange trees and the oranges were lovely. I can honestly say I have never stayed anywhere with more freshly squeezed orange juice. The owner Esther is lovely and was always very kind and courteous in all my conversations with her. 11/10 cannot rate highly enough! The best trip we’ve had in a long time.

Wow! what a lovely cottage, amazing views and lovely hosts, Paula and Meghan... Having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the valley is something we'll never forget. Swimming pool was lovely with plenty of loungers and shade too.

Absolutely stunning place. We couldn’t ask for more in terms of being perched in the most amazing spot in the pueblo. Great views, very private but very close to areas with more life if that’s what you’re after some days. If you want to be surrounded by fruit trees in the hills whilst floating in a private pool, this place is for you! Definitely will be returning.

Just arrived back from a wonderful week at Steph and Terry's home. The weather was amazing so we took full advantage of the beautiful pool in the most fabulous location. The property is set amongst the mountains and whilst remote it's not too far from the main road for visiting the surrounding area. For myself and my partner it ticked all the boxes as we love nature, watching the wildlife and the quiet of the mountains where we could relax away from our busy lives. Steph and Terry were always there to answer any questions and give recommendations. The Al In Carhire company recommended by them was extremely easy and value for money. Thank you to Steph and Terry for making our holiday special.

We were warmly welcomed by Reijer. As a welcome, there was also a good bottle of wine, which we enjoyed on the terrace at sunset. In front of the house is a large lemon grove…the scent was beguiling! The start was just perfect! The Casita is beautifully and stylishly decorated and perfectly equipped with everything you could need. We enjoyed the opportunity to relax both on the terrace with great views and in the beautiful green courtyard. Even before our arrival, Reijer recommended various hikes and otherwise the communication with him was always helpful, nice and direct. The bed was very comfortable with a good mattress and in the morning the view from the bed out the window to the mountains is unbeatable 👍 We recommend the Casita 100%.
