Beach house vacation rentals in Oxwich

We needed to stay in the area for regular hospital treatment and Sharon and Mark were so kind and helpful fitting the dates around us. Cosy little cottage with a lovely, peaceful garden in a great location. The cottage was clean and tidy with plenty of hot water. Walking distance to the centre of Mumbles with all that has to offer so despite the reason for us being there we were also able to think of it as a bit of a holiday. Comfy lounge to watch a bit of Netflix in the evening and lovely comfy beds. Thank you Sharon & Mark

The house was clean, great location and a nice touch that there were some supplies..and cakes. The only issues were that a lot of the cutlery needed washing and a few other kitchen bits and pieces did. The house was perfect for us and parents as easy to walk everywhere in Tenby. Michelle was responsive but we didn't need much help as info was good. We loved the character of the house but some areas could do with a lick of paint. No parking but we got parking passports and left cars in multistorey. Loading/unloading was a little tricky as the road is narrow and there was a scaffolding truck when we arrived (working on house nearby) and hardcore being delivered as we left but we managed. Would be very happy to stay there again. We had a great time in the house and in Tenby.

What a picture perfect place to spend a few days in this area. The house was super clean and the view across the estuary was a definite wow moment! The house has the best equipped kitchen and even some extra fridge space in the basement. The only downside for us was that there is only one shower, and when you have six adults going to a ‘do’ it was a bit of a military operation, but that aside, we had the most wonderful stay. We had a lovely comfortable stay in Mumbles at Grace's place and the location couldn't have been better. We were able to walk to everything locally and there were plenty of options for food and shopping within walking distance. Parking isn't the easiest, but between the local car parks and free overnight street parking, we managed easily. Just be prepared for the cost of the car parks.

Owain's place is very spacious and light. The kitchen is excellently well equipped and the bedrooms are generous. The beds are really comfortable and there is plenty of hot water for welcome baths after our walks. We all really appreciated how accommodating Owain was in allowing us to gain access early to drop off our stuff. We were also very glad of a parking space, which was the envy of our friends who had places without off street parking. Owain gave us very helpful instructions and I found it very easy to communicate with him

I would highly recommend a stay at Seabank. There was clear and helpful communication from host Janine and the house was beautifully decorated, homely and welcoming. Spotlessly clean with everything you could need. The provisions left for us on arrival were most welcome. A great location with views across the estuary, peaceful and quiet, with a pleasant beach just a short walk away. The local castle is well worth a visit for amazing wider views of the estuary and access to a coastal path is nearby. The term “hidden gem” can be overused but it certainly applies to the pretty village of Llansteffan. We would definitely return to Seabank another time.

A wonderful family home containing everything you need. It is comfortably and well furnished. The children's room was very welcome and well used by our children. The house is very well placed and the parking area was extremely useful. It is a great base for exploring Swansea and the surrounding area with pretty beaches very close by. The Mumbles is well served with shops and restaurants and only a few minutes walk from the house. We had 6 fabulous nights and would definitely return again. Kathryn is a very responsive and welcoming host. Thank you for having us.

Our stay at Puffin House was fabulous and enjoyed by all - from teenagers to parents and grandparent. House is spacious and has absolutely everything in it - really felt as if we went from home to home. It was spotless clean, very comfortable beds, big telly, lush garden, power shower, fully equipped kitchen, dog bowls, even a welcome bottle of Prosecco and delicious homemade Welsh cakes. Rona and her husband are so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much effort, very quick with communication and extra info. Walking to a lovely beach and nearby pubs/seaside shops for ice cream. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you Rona and Rob.

Lovely place to stay, right by the beach which was perfect for us! Nice sized rooms and beds and Jess was a lovely host! Check in and out instructions were clear and easy to follow!

Was a great place to stay when we visited the Urdd Eisteddfod which was held in Margam Park this year. The house was very clean and Yan was very easy to get in touch with if we required anything. We have 4 young children, who loved the added bonus of the toys that were in the house. Everything you would need for a short stay was in the house. Thank you 😊

We had a fantastic stay, the house was lovely and had everything we could need. Walking distance into Tenby was very handy (if you don’t mind a hill). Host was great with detailed instructions. We would love to stay again.

Really nice caravan, well presented and really clean and tidy, the park is a little dated but they have lots for young kids to do. We bought the leisure passes and did actually use them as the pool is small and not many activities for older kids. We left the park everyday to visit different places so if that’s what your after this is perfect

A glorious few days here! Steph's place: immaculate with thoughtful touches like tea bags, coffee, and sugar beside the kettle. Parking was right outside the door so easy unloading. I'm familiar with the area, I lived nearby as a child, we knew where the great walks are: when the tide is low, walk to the next secluded cove and back over the cliffs, also from Duke's Drive there is a footpath that goes up a deep wooded valley following a stream, eventually you come out on the hills above next to a wind turbine. And exploring caves just around the headland on the beach. I couldn't get a good wifi connection in situ, which was actually a bonus; instead of doing work and hobby stuff on my laptop, we had evening walks to the beach (a ten-minute walk, to watch the surfers in the setting sun). Cafes/pubs we visited all had good free wifi. Steph very generously allowed me to charge my car, which saved the hassle of public chargers, and she would not take any payment for the electric used.

We had a lovely stay for my parents 70th birthdays. As a large group with a mix of ages from 1-70 everyone was catered for. Everything was provided for the little ones and the older children loved the pool. Everything was provided at the house with plenty of plates, cutlery etc. the view to the bay is gorgeous and there is plenty of space for a large group. Thanks for having us.

Really enjoyed our week in the Gower. Cottage was lovely, enclosed garden allowed our dog freedom when we were home, and location was ideal for walking around the area. I'll certainly miss the early morning dog walk down to the beach and lunch at the Brittania in Llanmadoc, which we manged every day. Would certainly recommend this cottage to anyone who loves walking on the vast expanses of beaches this part of the Gower has to offer.

We absolutely loved Matt’s place. If this isn’t the best Airbnb we have stayed at (it might be!), it’s incredibly close. Walkable to everything in the area (including fantastic coffee shops, restaurants, beaches, castle), spotless, spacious, extremely comfortable beds, phenomenal water pressure, well stocked kitchen (milk, orange juice, coffee, water bottles, jams, bread, welsh cakes!) I can’t think of anything to make it better. Parking is the only tricky thing about the place, but even with that we never had to park more than a 2-minute walk away. Matt was responsive to all our needs as well. Cannot recommend highly enough! Thanks, Matt!

Thank you for lending us your beautiful log cabin. We had a wonderful half term break. The location was excellent and is easy to walk to Tenby if you want to. Matt & Victoria's communication was warm and friendly from our very first enquiry. We are a family of 5 including a 17 year old, 9 year old and 14 year old. All were happy to relax in the spacious accommodation - happy teenagers equals happy mum & dad! Plenty to see and do in Tenby and the surrounding areas. The hot tub was a real treat after a day mooching around shops and cafes in Tenby. Skimming stones on the various sandy beaches and spotting a few crabs in low tide made for some great photos. A beautifully located log cabin, peaceful and quiet but close enough to go and explore Pembrokeshire. Thank you for enabling us to make some very happy family memories. We would love to repeat the wonderful experience you gave us. We have not stopped recommending this magical find to family & friends since our return. We will be back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mumbles. The cottage was lovely with sea views. It was well equipped with everything we needed and our host, Emily, responded quickly to any questions we had. I would certainly recommend this cottage and would book it again on a future visit.
