Vacation rentals with lake access in Oxford

An absolutely beautiful Airbnb with such a serene and calm atmosphere. The Airbnb being right on the lake was the highlight. The area is gated and secured too. It's worth noting that two of the single beds are led upstairs in the bunk bed room, so was ideal for children, maybe not so much adults. Otherwise, it was a smooth stay & the welcome treats were humbly welcomed. Will definitely be coming back & recommending!

WOW! WOW! WOW! Fabulous place, very clean, very tidy, lots of light, perfect weather, lovely decking area, lovely to watch watersports, very peaceful, comfortable beds with clean linen, good size bedrooms and bathrooms. Lovely gesture from the owners leaving us some milk, coffee, tea and pizzas! We will be back, you won't be disappointed, book your stay and you will walk into this place and jaw dropping, it's an amazing place! Thank you Andy and Anne, we've had an amazing time!

Only used as a place to stay after a wedding but would’ve loved to stay longer! Good communication, lovely and clean and very nicely decorated. Would definitely return

Beautiful place with a great view over the lake. It also looks bigger than the pictures and comfortably hosted 6 people and 2 medium sized dogs! The weather was great and we had a good sized outdoor area to eat and relax, but as it got cool in the evening we moved back indoors where three was more than enough space to play games around the table. The bedding was also very comfy which made for a really cosy nights sleep! We would definitely come back.

We had a great stay in this lovely cottage - lots of space for a family of 4 and furnished to a high standard. Sarah was an excellent host - friendly, responsive, and took the time to show us where everything was. The freshly cut flowers, local eggs and chocolates were a nice touch. Also conveniently located across the road from a supermarket. Would definitely recommend!

The hose was absolutely gorgeous, we were a group of work colleagues there to compete in a triathlon nearby and we were delighted with only being 6minutes away especially as it was a very early start. Everyone was super happy with the location and the property so thanks

We absolutely loved our stay here .. ideal location there were 6 adults and 2 young babies .. plenty of room and great facilities .. communication was good and very friendly.. loads to do great walks and nice and peaceful loved the hot tub and kayaking on the lake weather was perfect .. would definitely consider coming back

Great location, just steps away from the lake. The jetty was right by the back door to get on to the lake easily.

Everything went very well. The flat is comfortable, especially the living room upstairs! We had a great time. Edward was very kind and it was easy to communicate.

A cosy contained flat sitting about an absolutely stunning valley, overlooking a wood beyond. Holly's flat was absolutely perfect for what I wanted - an away from it all, peaceful location where I could study and write. I love nature and I was surrounded by deer, incredible birdsong, red kites, pheasants and so much more. I was lucky to be here for the bluebells and also the golden fields of rapeseed. Ideal location for anyone who likes hill walking, hiking and / or is doing the Cotswold Way. It takes less than 10 mins to drive into Cheltenham, but this place is truly an oasis of calm and serenity. A 6-min drive to the nearest large supermarket, so that was handy. The furniture etc might be a tad dated but, honestly, the price reflects that fact and, frankly, I loved that this wasn't a show home, but rather a well-loved country place. Holly was wonderful to interact with. I recommend this flat in the heart of the Cotswolds. The bed is super comfy too!

Fantastic location in central Oxford was top, easily within walking distance of all of the points of interest in central Oxford, including restaurants, pubs, and supermarkets. Communication with Mariano was also good—he was very responsive to questions and provided detailed instructions for arrival and check-in. We arrived by car and had no problems finding the parking lot, however the parking space was quite small, which only just accommodated our mid-sized rented SUV. The unit is located on a busy road, however traffic was generally quite quiet during the night and we had no trouble. Overall, perfect apartment for a short stay to visit the university and central Oxford.

Really cosy, comfortable lovely barn, set amongst picturesque lakes and commutable to lots of gorgeous towns.

Frank was the best host I’ve had so far on AirBnB, he was fast to communicate despite the large time difference from the other side of the world. The Studio was perfect and exactly what I needed for my stay in Maidenhead, would highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice, private and cosy space away from the main streets.

The apartment was even better in reality than in the photos - lovely decor and comfortable beds/sofas. As we had lovely weather for our weekend stay , we sat outside on the rooftop terrace relaxing at every opportunity, listening to birdsong and lake-watching the wildlife. We hadn’t appreciated the amount of activities on offer at Lower Mill Estate but used the outdoor heated pool, recliners and sauna before we checked in - it really started our weekend in relaxing mood. We went to Ballihoo restaurant during our visit and this was a great family restaurant, very casual with good food - a few minutes walk from the accommodation. We did some Cotswolds sightseeing on the Saturday and it was lovely to know our penthouse and sundeck was waiting when we returned in the afternoon. Jane recommended a local restaurant for the Saturday evening and we weren’t disappointed- the food was absolutely delicious and it made the weekend perfect. Jane & Nico - thank you for everything:-)

We booked Glyme Flat as we were working in the local area for a couple of days. What a lovely place to wind down after a days work! The instructions to find the place & check in where especially useful as it is very off the beaten track. Make sure you've got them downloaded as there really isn't much signal there! Thanks very much :)

A hidden gem and rather exceptional in so many ways! Beautifully furnished and very comfortable bed. Feels like a little bit of paradise and such a warm hearted host! Perfect! One of the best Airbnb’s that I’ve stayed in!

We had a lovely stay at Aston Cottage over the May bank holiday weekend. We were a family of 6 adults and 2 children. The older adults did plenty of walking around the Estate, and the children had a great time in the play areas, soft play and the swimming pool! Two of the adults brought their own bikes and made good use of these too. Alex and Emma were excellent hosts, and were very responsive to any queries we had, both before we arrived and after. There was a small hiccup with the hot water, but this was soon sorted, once I raised. The early check in was very welcome, and so by the time our supermarket shop arrived, we were all set to start the weekend. The house and bathrooms were well equipped with condiments and bathroom 'stuff'. The Pizza shack was a great find! The only negative comments were that it was difficult to warm up the cottage, and the cleaners could pay more attention to detail, ie oven needs cleaning and there were many cobwebs! Thank you both!

Catherine and Dai were lovely hosts! Super helpful with everything we needed to make our stay memorable, from sharing local recommendations of places to eat and visit to sharing us the tennis balls we needed to enjoy the tennis court =) Their house is gorgeous with big attention to detail. All of us loved it! A dream escape in the Cotswolds!

Thank you for a wonderful Stay Linda. 13 of us has a reunion and enjoyed eating in the garden whilst the BBQ was going, absolutely delightful. That sunset view from the kitchen is epic. 100% recommend to anyone thinking of staying. Decent size kitchen to prep dinner and the rooms were beautiful. Thanks again Linda :)

We loved our stay in Ducklington. The cottage was beautiful and so clean. It had everything we needed. Barry was so helpful and gave us lots of recommendations. We went to Diddly Squat during the day and the Farmers Dog for dinner and the evening. Barry recommended a taxi driver who was wonderful. Thank you Barry and Julian. We loved our stay x

Fantastic stay- idylic views perfect for a peaceful getaway. The house was well stocked with family friendly equipment, and features like the bbq were perfect for sunset evenings. We would definitely recommend our stay to any small group wanting quiet evenings and busy watersports days

Absolutely stunning place to stay, we didn't want to come home. Everything was so well thought out, so many helpful and lovely touches to make your stay enjoyable. The home itself was beautifully furnished, cosy, a dream little getaway. The games room was so much fun, the hot tub is pure luxury with a stunning view, we honestly couldn't have wished for more, would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back. Fairhazel was a lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean with many thoughtful touches and lots of goodies. Lower Mill Estate is a lovely place to stay with lots to do - paddle boarding, swimming, walking, tennis and cycling. We would definitely recommend and will return. Thank you Jason
