The perfect weekend getaway Stayed here with my boyfriend for a long weekend the garden cabin was exceptional very clean and tidy we both loved the hot tub and outside seating the heaters were a perfect touch for the evenings outside playing card games considering it is in someone’s garden it was very private Lisa was excellent she showed us how everything worked when we checked in and sent a message the first day checking everything was okay which was lovely there is a folder with instructions for everything easy to follow I would 100% recommend this to couples looking for a quiet relaxing getaway thank you Lisa it was lovely

We had such a beautiful few days away at Billy’s lodge, was so peaceful, private & relaxing and the hot tub was a massive bonus. Watched the sunset, watched the night come in all whilst chilling with a nice cold drink in the warm water. The lodge was really homely and comfortable, clean & tidy and had everything you need. The lodge was located a short stroll away from a lovely pub along the canal, great food & drinks and lovely walks/scenery. Would highly recommend Billy’s lodge and would love to go back!

We loved the location! Stunning views and a gated entrance giving a secure feel. Our cabin was lovely - well equipped with loads of extra goodies which was a lovely touch. Bath towels provided and separate towels for the hot tub. Sadly the hot tub wasn’t working for our visit however we were very quickly told that we could use the hot tub at the main residence, which actually had even better views so that wasn’t a problem and we didn’t feel overlooked or a bother. We loved having all the animals around the farm and grew especially fond of Lenny the cat who spent a lot of time with us. The hosts were incredibly friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful, private location. If you want a super chilled place to stay this is it! Hot tub was amazing (took about an hour to warm up once lit.) we used the bbq and fire out on the evening which was great! They even left charcoal for us. Nice touch of homemade carrot cake on arrival too! Would highly recommend if you want a rural chilled out stay.

This was our second stay here and we loved it again! The cabin is so clean and feels so homely, the hot tub is amazing. We hope to go back there again in the future! Thank you to Alex and Victoria for another lovely stay x

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Mirror Houses in Cubley, and it was exactly what I needed to recharge. The location offered a serene and tranquil environment, ideal for a peaceful getaway. The accommodation was well-equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Communication with the hosts was exceptional; they were responsive and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. Their hospitality truly enhanced the experience. Overall, The Mirror Houses provided a perfect setting for a rejuvenating weekend, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a quiet and comfortable retreat.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Beautiful and peaceful location and such an amazing experience to be present and in nature. The cabin itself is so comfortable and cozy and Eloise is a wonderful host and prepared delicious breakfast and dinner hampers for us. We cannot wait for our next stay there – highly recommended!

Duncan and Jackie were brilliant hosts, very informative about the location, how to check in and also provided plenty of recommendations for our stay! They had left us a few extra welcome gifts which was a lovely touch and went down a treat! The cabin itself was exactly what we needed and more, very cosy with all of the amenities you could need. The fenced off garden was perfect for my dog who also loved his stay! Could not have wished for a better stay so will definitely book it again in the near future.

We thoroughly enjoyed are stay here at Bleinheim lodges. Fantastic location very close to Bleinheim palace, Woodstock and only a 25 minute drive to Oxford city. The lodge was clean and had everything we needed, very well presented. We had a dog friendly lodge and a small area out back to let him out. Lovely fields around to walk him. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone!

We had a lovely night in the cabin, it was just what we needed. Quiet location, well equipped kitchen and the kids were super -excited by the TV in the bedroom and the swing outside!

Had a great 3 night stay at Katie’s cabin! We felt right at home! It was for my mums 60th and I asked if we could have some banners up when we arrived and Katie did that for us! Cabin was clean and tidy. Perfect location! We will definitely return!

The studio is a lovely space located in a quiet country side but still only a 20 minute drive to many different villages such as Bibury, Bourton-on-water and Burford. Allison was very friendly, communicated very well and respected our privacy. Military planes often flew over the property which was unexpected and fascinating!! The outdoor space was quite private and a lovely place to sit and have a cup of tea in the morning. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely hope to book again in the future - Thank you Allison! :)

What a wonderful stay we had, communication with Geoff was great he met us on arrival and showed us in and explained everything and told us about amenities and the area. Lovely touch with some milk in the fridge and a bottle of complimentary wine and biscuits..little things like that go a long way, thank you. Geoff's home was immaculate and we felt very much at home, showers were powerful and all towels were provided. There wasn't anything we needed to ask for. It was very warm and cosy, my only niggle was the mattress on the double bed was really soft, we have a firm one at home but that's a personal choice thing and you can't please everyone's preference. Geoff told us of the bowling club where everyone was really friendly and we had a great night Saturday when they had a fantastic guy singing. Geoff offered us a late check out, although not needed was a really nice gesture. We very much look forward to coming back and staying again, maybe then we can get a bit of sunshine!

Frankly, the standard of accommodation was higher than I expected for the price. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was clean, in good order, and well organised. The setting was just about perfect for what I wanted - a quiet getaway in the midst of nature. Having the EV charger on site was a bonus.

The lodge looks exactly how been described, everything you need for stay is inside, very clean.The location is perfect for those who are looking for peaceful places and who want to discover Cotswolds. We really enjoyed to stay at the lodge and definitely will return back. Highly recommend this place.

Perfect all round. Location great as so close to everything you’d want to visit. Check in/out really easy as we arrived late, left early and had a very tight schedule - thx for the great and clear instructions. Looking forward to coming back. PS - if you love enjoying a city garden this is an added plus.

Claire’s place was so lovely and peaceful . From the moment you get out of the car and approach it’s just gorgeous. It’s as lovely as the pictures just so clean and tidy but most of all private and calm and relaxing. Claire was charming to message and left some lovely surprises for us that were just such lovely touches . It’s a perfect spot to go for a nice country walk and to use as a base to explore the surrounding villages . We absolutely loved our stay it’s an ideal location in a cosy and stylish cabin . It’s made perfect by a lovely host . I would go back again tomorrow In a heart beat . Well done to Claire and family and thank you again for giving us such a beautiful peaceful break Mike & Vicky x

Just came back from a 4 night stay at the Duet Lodge, the staff when checking in and even before our stay with communication was amazing so helpful and friendly. Also the location of this place was amazing so close to all the little towns nearby, also if your a fan of the Jeremy Clarkson’s farm show its only a 9min drive from the Diddly Squat Farm shop. The place was so clean and the bed was so comfy. The only downside was the hottub, it wasnt powerful at all and the little covers of the jets kept falling off. But apart from that i would highly recommend.

Myself, husband and 2 children (9 & 4) had a fantastic stay at The View, it was very cosy and had everything we needed. The location was perfect as it wasn’t far from all the places we wanted to see and visit. Highly recommend.

what a beautifully tranquil and peaceful place to stay. Very human and dog friendly. Lots of thoughtful facilities, perfectly equipped. Comfy and cosy, such a great escape. Chilled evenings round the firepit. We shall be back 😊

We have just returned from a lovely long weekend. The walks are great, ideal for dogs and on your doorstep. The accommodation was perfect, very clean and tidy with all amenities, plenty of room for a couple and a dog. Thank you, we will be back.
