Kind and helpful host, quick to respond to messages and lovely to greet on your stay and departure (great had WiFi and recommendation for places). Food shops local so didn't have to travel far. The cottage was peaceful, clean and just the stay we wanted with no disturbance. Hot tub was brilliant and it was ready as soon as we got there, allowed us to bring a fire which was lovely alongside the hot tub! Very pleased to have a TV in the bedroom as not many places have this. Definitely will be returning and recommending to others! Cottage was a win for us. Look forward to trying the yurt and cabin one day! 5* review for sure!!

Lovely, homely cottage in a great location for exploring the rest of the Cotswolds. The Killingworth Castle (cosy local gastropub) is just a 5 min walk away from the property. A perfect base for a long weekend in the country.

Great little classic cottage. Very quirky and really pretty. Ideally located to the pub opposite and walking distance to the swan pub/hotel which is great and right by the trout farm which is worth a visit. Showers are really good and the separate bothy annex is a really nice addition especially if you have geusts that cant go up the stairs very easily. Thanks again cant wait to come back. Love Bibury

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this immaculate lodge. Everything was spotless and beautifully presented, with high-end equipment and tasteful, cosy decor that made it feel like a true home away from home. It was such a treat to be able to bring our dog along and still stay somewhere so luxurious – it’s rare to find pet-friendly places that are this nice! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at ease from the moment we arrived. We would 100% recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable break, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

We stayed at the cottage for a hen do and had the most amazing time! The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful, and the garden in spring was especially stunning – such a peaceful and picturesque spot. We particularly loved the lawn area, which was perfect for a few competitive games of croquet in the sunshine! The house was incredibly well equipped, with everything we needed for a big group. We really appreciated how many bathrooms there were – it made getting ready so easy for everyone. The surrounding area was lovely to explore, and we had a great time at the local pub, The Swan Inn – definitely worth a visit for food and drinks. Highly recommend this place for a group getaway – we made such special memories here!

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our extended stay in the Cotswolds. Location was great with so many villages and pubs to explore nearby. David and Sally were wonderful hosts - communicated clearly and very responsive. The property itself is spotless with a very, very well equipped - especially the kitchen - and we enjoyed cooking each night after a day out & about. It’s cosy, warm and peaceful - exactly what we had hoped. I’d highly recommend staying here and would love to return.

We’re just back from a few days in this fabulous cottage and I cannot recommend it enough. It’s adorable, has everything you need and more, and is in a brilliant location for the town and exploring the Cotswolds. We adored the garden and piled in to the hot tub most nights with our teens after a long day sight seeing and a couple of nights toasted marshmallows on the fire pit - heaven! Alison was a brilliant host - loved the little goodies on arrival, a lovely touch.

We had a lovely time. Love the location. Perfect for walkers. Inside was light and airy. Bed was very comfortable. The animals were happy and friendly and the area has lots of wildlife. We enjoyed going for walks and visiting Hungerfords Elaine's for lunch. Look forward to visiting again.

We had the most wonderful stay. A beautiful location and wonderful garden. Walking my dog as the was setting was absolutely magical. We had a lovely time with our little family. Thank you for a great stay. Highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Location was good for exploring the local area. Beware if you are tall, there are a couple of low doorways. Very comfortable stay.

What a beautiful place to stay. Lovely touch with the milk and biscuits and dog treats of course. Horseshoe Cottage was probably more than we expected with the cleanliness, comfy bed and sofa. We didn't meet Caroline but we knew where she was if needed. We did meet some of the people and horses from the stables. Everyone was so friendly. Definitely would stay again. 5 stars from us and the dog. It was far enough out of the way from the busy towns although easy to get to if needed. Plenty of walks close by so the car isn't needed if you like walking a lot.

My family loved our stay at Old Forge. Our children— aged 4 and 7– had a blast running around the yard and having their own secluded room on the upper level. We all enjoyed the rustic wildlife decor and the lovely view of the field. The cottage was cozy yet spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Make sure to get dinner at the local spot— The Golden Ball Inn! Stow was a very short drive away with plenty of nice shops and restaurants and a Tesco for our grocery needs. We didn’t end up getting a chance to walk the paths nearby, but we saw plenty of spots we could have done so— and with any luck someday we can return to Old Forge and get to walk around. I’d highly recommend Old Forge for anyone staying in the Cotswolds, esp with children!

Maxine was an excellent host! Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Great base for countryside walks and visiting local villages. Very accomodating of us and our puppy.

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

Deer View cottage is was absolutely gorgeous! It’s a traditional cottage, so the stairs are steep & takes some getting used too, however do not let this put you off. There is a secure garden for the dogs, however a public walkway right across the road through a wooded area & fields which lead to the village green & cafe! Perfect for a morning coffee. The cottage was extremely clean with everything in place ie towels, hand soap, tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets & toilet rolls (including spares). Bathroom & separate shower was perfect when sharing with family or couples. Definitely recommend Deer View cottage, it catered for all our needs including our dogs & the surprise views in the back garden was totally unexpected! Hosts were perfect!

Accommodation was spot on, ideal for our small group and the dog. Parking was also fine, was concerned at first as it was on street parking in he village but when we arrived there was plenty of space for us. Used the cottage as a base so didn't explore the immediate area that much but did wander round the village with the dog and it had a lovely feel to it. All in all, suited all of us for our weekend break.

The best things about this property are really how peaceful and quiet it is, whilst being surrounded by beautiful countryside. The house itself, whilst small, has everything you need. Very well thought out, with great little touches. Kind hosts. It was lovely sitting outside in the courtyard, reading with a coffee, whilst the sun was coming down and the owl swooping by.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this picturesque little cottage. It was immaculate. We would recommend to anyone looking to leave the hustle and bustle of city life for a few days and to couples for a quaint, romantic place to stay. Thank You Stan and Judy for your hospitality!

This was our second visit to this charming and totally unique cottage and we again took full advantage of the lovely walks around. The surrounding grounds were blessed with many wild spring flowers and we spent a considerable time just sitting on the bench enjoying the peaceful area and sound of the woodpecker etc.. Visits to Oxford (the Ashmolean) and Stratford-upon-Avon (quieter in the mornings) and visits to the surrounding villages added to our enjoyment.

We have had a great stay at the pond house. It’s a nice and comfortable cottage, surrounded by nature and well equipped with everything you need. It was super easy to communicate with Louise and she had good recommendations for the area. Thank you very much, Louise, for offering such a lovely place.
