The Clockhouse

The Clockhouse, built in 1904, is a beautifully situated cosy retreat in the lovely village of Overstrand. The village boasts a good pub, a thriving Arts Centre and hundreds of yards of golden sand which is one of the best beaches in East Anglia. The cottage is good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups. The cheap nightly price is because we have not finished rendering the outside of the cottage and we do not have a washing machine yet. Only 500 yards to the beach! Towels & Linen Inc

This beautiful and compact space has often been likened to staying in a ship’s quarters but without the perils of the sea. The property is situated just a stone’s throw away from the beautiful sandy beach and prom and is only two minutes walk from Cromer’s famous grade II listed pier. Secluded Sunhouse situated at the bottom of a large 2 acre garden. The house is surrounded by a conservation area and there are beautiful walks to the coast from the doorstep. Yet it is only 1/4 mile from a train station & Suffield Arms. The Sunhouse: open plan self contained living space, which comprises of a kitchen diner & Lounge / sleeping area, with a wood burner. There is a bathroom with shower. Depending on the time of year you visit it will be in different stages of growth and bloom.

Light, airy and spacious, our studio apartment is set within a wonderful, semi-wooded garden and located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With level access, it is suitable for wheelchair users, although the drive is gravel. With the cliff top, woods and access to the beach at the end of the road, and the town centre just a 10-minute walk away, it is ideally located for all Cromer has to offer.
