Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Oslo

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Communication with the host is very smooth and quick. The scenery around the accommodation is nice, and the amenities are very well equipped. It's near the end of the bus line, so transportation is good and the mart is close, so I highly recommend it.

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

Beautiful place with amazing view of Oslo fjord. I decided to choose this place to enjoy the view and Scandinavian atmosphere of the property with friends. And was quite satisfied. The place is very interesting and cozy, and you can look out the window for hours. The owner of Gard is responsive, with a good sense of humor and went to meet us when we needed it. We had a wonderful stay at Victoria’s house in Nittedal! Communication with Victoria was excellent both before and during our vacation. She was very helpful and gave us great tips. The house was perfect for us (2 adults, 2 kids aged 4 and 9). It was super clean, tidy, and beautifully furnished. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was excellently equipped, the living room very cozy, and the bathroom offered both a shower and a lovely bathtub. The location was ideal: about 30 minutes by rental car to both the airport and the center of Oslo. A sledding hill and the Vallingkollen ski area, where you can rent ski equipment, were only 15 minutes away – we had a great time experiencing the Norwegian winter there. Our kids loved it! We also visited the Technology Museum, the Paradox Museum, and the Natural History Museum with the kids – all three are highly recommended. It was such a relaxing and beautiful vacation. We had a really nice stay there. Katjia and Nikos’s place is nice and spacious and the area is super beautiful.

We had a really nice stay at Kaja's place in the Holmenkollen area. The house is large and has a very beautiful kitchen and great upper floor with lots of amenities for kids. The bathroom is fantastic and bedding is great. There is lots to do in the area especially if you are into nature. Also the railway to the city centre is relatively close and there is also a direct bus to the city center super close by. We would come back for sure!

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

Inger responded to messages right away, so communication was very smooth!It was helpful that they also explained how to check in and out in detail.Transportation access is good, and it is conveniently close to Oslo Central Station.The room was also spacious and comfortable!

Maiken is a great host. Not only her place was clean, cozy, and cute but also she took time to answer our questions and gave us great dinner recommendations! The apartment is at a great location as it is very close to the city center and in between 2 tram stations!

We had a great time staying at Torgeir's lovely home. I really enjoyed sitting out on the cedar deck and the house was comfortable and warm with all the necessities needed for just a couple of days. Torgeir was also a very nice and warm person, which added a lot to our stay. Thank you Torgeir!

Pernille and Ola were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. They gave us plenty of recommendations for the national holiday we visited during! The house has so much character and was the perfect size for two people. The bed was soooooooo comfortable. Loved our stay

Amazing find and amazing location.

Stay was very nice. A train stop with direct connection to Oslo was easily accessible on foot. Accommodation was very cozy and the host very friendly.

Loved the place - decorated with so much charm and character. Walking distance from botanical gardens and the Oslo shopping area. Would definitely stay there once more if I visit Oslo in the future

Incredibly cozy, sweet cabin with the best outdoor shower we have ever tried. Very private and quiet location, simple style with everything we needed. Annette told us about very nice hiking areas (Breivoll we loved it) we will recommend the cabin highly and will be happy to come back

Beautiful summer gem of a place! Great outdoor area, with access to various outdoor toys, trampoline and several seating areas. Perfect sun conditions, short distance to the sea and a short walk to the convenience store. Smart TV with access to multiple apps. Bright and delicately decorated. Definitely recommend it!

Both Cecilie and Sven were very helpful and very responsive and overall very awesome hosts! what an awesome place, beautifully decorated, a nice property with many nice cozy places to sit and hang out, even an outdoor kitchen and shower. We will gladly come back, thank you again!

A really nice place to visit , on the first day after a few hours we were greeted by the husband who fixed a broken tap in the sink, helped us with getting the fireplace and firepit outside going and even gave us some hiking tips and other places to visit! very helpful and nice hosts, a beautiful place to visit if you ever want to get away from the city, would recommend to anyone who likes to be next to the water.

We had a wonderful holiday in Jonas and Renate's cabin. Stunning views and an ideal base for visiting Oslo. Tips for future guests: Planning to visit Oslo? Park your (rental) car at Hauketo station. (no parking fees) From there it's a 10 minute train ride to the city center. Download the Ruter app for public transport. Very easy to pay. Kiwi is the nearest supermarket and just as good as Rema 1000, which is a bit further away. In Oslo, it's fun to do a 3 hour bike tour (Baja) to get to know the city. Also book a sauna session in one of the floating saunas in Oslo's harbor and take a refreshing dip in the sea. (Kok or Badstuforening) If you're coming with an electric car, you can download the Charge365 app. It's best to do this in advance, as you'll need to add a payment method. At the charge point, you can't scan a QR code; instead, you have to manually enter an ID. The ID is displayed on the charge point.
