I really enjoyed our stay here. It’s really close to town. The house is comfortable and we felt right at home. She has small things like makeup towels, sharp knives, and nice pots. I also really appreciate the quality and scents of the cleaning products and toiletries. It’s beautifully decorated and the yard is big enough for a dog or your children to run around. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Linda’s place is the perfect blend of an older Victorian feel and more modern kitchen, floors, A/C if needed. It’s incredibly peaceful with numerous sitting areas to read a book, enjoy a cup of coffee, have a chat about life, or indulge in a glass of wine and appetizers. Always something new on the expansive garden that you didn’t notice before. Just a wonderful little getaway…and friendly neighbors while out walking the neighborhood, which all just adds to a really special place. Thank you Linda and we hope to be back!!!!

I stayed with my family while driving back to Seattle. As soon as we went in we all felt at home. My two boys enjoyed going straight to the double twin beds room and relaxed. It was very clean and with a nice back yard. I definitely recommend and very family friendly.

this home is truly an escape. the minimalist and modern decor feel soothing and peaceful. we loved waking up with the sunlight filtering through the beautiful trees surrounding the home. we appreciated how clean and welcoming the place felt. we were just traveling through and didn't get to explore the area but just enjoying the restful home makes us want to go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Anthony & Ava’s place. The check-in process was smooth and easy, and the communication with the hosts was always prompt and helpful. The house was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful nature — a perfect place to relax. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely love to come back in the future. Highly recommended!

Great location for exploring Grass Valley, easy walking distance to restaurants, theaters, and downtown. Very nice inside remodel, great place to relax and enjoy friends.

Kara’s house was actually really nice inside. The location was not in the best neighborhood. Surrounding houses were run down with jun and garbage all in the yards. There’s a little house in the back with people living in it. So although was entire house it felt like the guest house.

We had a great stay! The place was very clean, quiet, and perfectly suited for our trip. The location was ideal—just a short walk to lots of great restaurants. The host was super responsive and accommodating, which made everything even easier. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time. The backyard was extremely tranquil, and there was plenty of room. It also came stocked with normal amenities (others haven't) like salt/pepper/cooking oil so that we can stay in and cook together as opposed to always going out. It was a relaxing environment and will be our go to place anytime I am visiting my family in Chico!

We didn’t have an AWD vehicle so we couldn’t make it up the hill, so we did park at the bottom- which was a little difficult. Had to make a couple trips and it is a decent walk especially in the rain and mud. Just make sure you are prepared for a walk or bring a vehicle that can handle big ruts and really muddy roads! (Not the hosts fault by any means and they clearly state that you need an AWD car in details!) The outdoor bathtub was frickin amazing! I felt like I was at a spa retreat. We loved this cozy cabin. Bed was comfy, things were clean, and everything was straightforward and easy to use. Kitchen had a rather miscellaneous selection of utensils and such so I’d suggest keeping it simple for meals. We went on a short walk around the property and came back with quite a few ticks. So that was not fun, but also not anyone’s fault. All in all- would absolutely 10/10 recommend staying here! I wish I could live there!

Amazing Stay! Exactly as Described!” We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The property is exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The huge backyard was a fantastic space for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors, and the pool was a bonus. It’s perfect for families or anyone who enjoys a little extra room to unwind. The host was truly excellent—super responsive, welcoming, and thoughtful in ensuring we had everything we needed. The location couldn’t have been better, close to local attractions, restaurants, and transportation, yet still quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great stay!

Had a wonderful stay at Leah’s place. The swimming pool is the best pool I’ve ever used. It is always so warm and relaxing. The grounds are extremely private and beautiful with so much incredible sights and sounds of nature. Unfortunately we had to leave abruptly due to unforeseen circumstances and Leah’s communication was extremely proactive and quick. We truly enjoyed her place and can’t wait to return.

This is a must rent if you find yourself in the Oroville/Chico area! Julie is a wonderful host, very quick to respond! Always helpful and very nice. The cottage is adorable and cozy, with just about anything you could need and more. Pet friendly which was unexpected and much appreciated! I highly recommend this property!

This listing was so convenient as we could walk to Bidwell and drive anywhere we wanted to go within 10 minutes. The hosts were helpful and responsive.

In most things, getting the details right, is difficult. Sarah knocked it out of the park. This place is so thoughtfully put together. From the well appointed kitchen, to the great bedding, and the clear instructions, this place was so welcoming and comfortable. The location is very private and peaceful. We enjoyed using this place as a base to do daily excursions to some great snowy places for snowshoeing. We said, multiple times this weekend to each other, “I love this place and we should come back here soon!”.

This is a lovely and comfortable house. The host is extremely generous. We very much enjoyed are stay and are trying to return as soon as possible.

Sam was very communicative and it was very easy to find with their instructions. Plenty of parking on the street in March. This room was exactly what was advertised - it's a very simple room and we appreciated the way it was priced in order to enjoy Nevada City without breaking the bank. There is a kitchenette that also helped with breakfasts and dinners in the room. Expect the basic amenities to make a meal. It is a fine place to end of the day after adventures. Easy to get to downtown Nevada City and to Grass Valley. My Mom is in her 70's and just know that the stairs and walk are a little steep , just something to note if you have older folks with knee or hip issues in the party. And as noted the ceilings are low. The wall heater keeps everything toasty and Sam gives instructions ahead of time on how to use it. Just keep it started at .5 and then go up to 1, then 2, etc. Overall, we had a great time without breaking the bank and it was easy to stay and to get around town.

Vicky's place was awesome, perfect for a family and friends weekend. The kitchen is well stocked and we loved the huge dining table. Beds are comfortable and the couch was big enough for all of us to fit after a long day of skiing! The house is in beautiful, serene surrounding, with huge backyard. We will be back.

We had an incredible stay at Creektown Cottages. We stayed at Sugar Pine Cottage. The location was perfect for strolling into Grass Valley’s downtown. The cottage was clean and the beds were comfortable. Definitely a bit of noise early in the morning from the Post Office behind the cottages, so light sleepers or folks wanting to sleep in may be challenged. Overall, a great experience. We look forward to our next stay at Creektown Cottages.

The Cottage provided a great respite from chaotic wedding preparations. My grandkids loved coming out to “Grandma’s Cottage!” My favorite times were in the morning with coffee looking out on the orchard listening to the birds.

Great location was about 10 minutes from everywhere we needed to be. Very dog friendly which made our stay stress free. The backyard was shady all day and a great place to hang out. Would stay again!
