Bungalow vacation rentals in Ormond Beach

Love the proximity to the beach, it was nice to walk only a short distance to take an earlier morning swim. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful and the home is relaxing and very clean. I will say hot water showers would have been nice.

Fantastic spot: Easily walkable to everything in town, even closer to the beach, and quiet and peaceful all the while. The large open-air lanai is a nice touch - allows you to easily alternate sun and shade while staying outside. We had great weather, but it would also be a nice place to sit with a coffee on a rainy day. Neighbors are there (hotel and next-door bungalow) but the way it is arranged we didn't much see anyone, the lanai and backyard still felt secluded. The bungalow itself is more spacious than we expected. There are two doors off the lanai, one to the kitchen and one to a living room, which was convenient for us parents after putting the kids to sleep. Nearby playground for families with kids. Sandra was friendly and responsive, and it was great that she was local.

We absolutely loved Martie’s bungalow!! It was beautiful inside and out. We felt so cozy and at home. The beach is 1 block away, easiest walk, and absolutely stunning. The drive to downtown is just under 20 minutes and Ubers/lyfts are readily available. The bungalow is at a perfect location for anyone hoping to spend a good chunk of time at the beach, and also explore beautiful St. Augustine. Martie was so kind and considerate. She was so proactive and detailed in communication. Check in and out instructions were clear and simple. Martie went above and beyond to make us feel at home, providing things like prepared ice trays, coffee for us to make, DVDs for a movie night in, and more. We have stayed in other airbnbs in St. Augustine before but, when we come back, we know to book Martie’s bungalow again. 11/10 recommend!

Extremely friendly hosts and extremely friendly family location. Our hosts accommodated our family for 12 days and had answers to any question before our stay which made me feel more comfortable for my first time visiting Florida! Mother in law lives in Florida so it’s a good chance we will be back to Florida in the same house next year.

This was our first air B&B stay, and it couldn’t have went better. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the fenced in back yard where they were able to be off-leash. Everything was clean, and exactly as pictured. The only downfall at all was the beds were VERY firm. Which we’re not used to, but wasn’t a horrible issue; we didn’t sleep the best, but we also didn’t have any back pain or anything from them. We frequented the fishing pier that was just a block down the street, which was also lovely! I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s practical to walk to the beach if you’re one who needs to take everything (canopy, chairs, etc.) we bought a wagon even, which made it easier to get to the beach but once the very expensive wagon (supposedly made for the sand) hit the sand it became horrendous to pull. So after one try at that we drove to the beach, which wasn’t bad. Plan to pay though. 10/10 would rebook.

Was happy with the stay. Close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Neighborhood was peaceful and had nice neighbors as well. If you like the Waffle House, it is in walking distance from the house at the end of the street around the corner, just in case you get hungry late at night! Nice place to stay!

We loved this place! It was so peaceful and clean. It was walking distance to the beach and the Main Street with shops, restaurants, and bars. Great spot!

Debbie was a pleasure to talk to from the moment I made the booking. Their home was perfect for our family. To our delight, downtown hosted an Arts Fair on our first night, which we were able to walk to. The home was beautiful and comfortable and in a great location. We will definitely be back! 💕

This beach cottage is very cute and clean! Fit our family of 4 and had all of the amenities we needed. It is located in a convenient area, walkable to the beach and very close to restaurants and shopping. Unfortunately we were there for a family emergency and not a vacation, but I would just like to add that the hosts were very hospitable in accommodating us at the last minute, and they were very easy to communicate with and answered any questions and I'm very appreciative for that. But nonetheless, this house would be a great place to stay for a family beach vacation!

We are so glad we found Maureen's place. It matched our needs perfectly (location, size, price). The home was very thoughtfully equipped with lots of household supplies right down to the frosted glasses in the freezer! Great laundry room. Everything was top notch. Maureen was very responsive to my messages and a pleasure to work with. Very professional experience.
