Historic private 2bd home on Bayou St John. Kayak from the front door or lounge in the backyard under our oak tree. 2 queen beds in separate walk-thru bedrooms allow for tons of space in our shotgun. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need and is environmentally friendly. Within walking distance to City Park, restaurants, Blue Bikes, and the streetcar line, it’s a wonderful location to see the city. Off street parking and self check-in. Downtown HANGOUT! - Walk to French Quarter!

Jay was an excellent host who was very responsive and clearly knows this neighborhood well. He gave us some good recommendations and we made some friends at some of the local spots. I never once felt unsafe walking around the neighborhood or coming back and forth from the French Quarter. The linens smelled nice and clean, there was air conditioning, a couple of nice bathrooms with great water pressure, and a nice kitchen. I slept great in the beds, and even hung out outside enjoying the lovely weather. I cant wait to return and stay here again. Best value for your money around.

Beautiful Lake House - Private Pier & Dock

A lovely home right on the water. I was worried about stayng in a home on a “highway” with a dog but the road was quiet and we felt safe with the doggie outside (on a leash!) Fishing off the dock was not successful but we did a charter and had great luck! We loved our day trips into NOLA too! Loved it!

A raised wooden structure is supported by multiple posts, featuring a spacious deck with railings. Steps lead up to the entrance, and a small trailer is positioned on the ground level. Soft lighting casts a warm glow over the property during sunset.

One of the best Airbnb we've stayed at. Great views that capture sunrise and sunset. The kids loved the kayaks and taking them across the channel into some marsh grass during high tides. Hard to put any negative here but the tap water was fine but if you're sensitive you might want to bring some bottled water with you.

A 400-foot pier extends over the water, leading toward several waterfront homes. The wooden walkway is bordered by railings, with gentle ripples visible on the lake's surface under a bright blue sky.
