Summer cottage idyll with direct lake location and all amenities. Secluded and private location with unobstructed views in the west (sun all afternoon and evening) but at the same time the cottage is also part of a small village where there is a soccer field, playground for the smaller children and a larger common swimming area with rocks (about 5 minutes' walk). Private jetty for meals directly by the water and swimming jetty directly adjacent to the plot (about 50 meters below the house). The rowing boat seats 4-6 people and fishing gear is available.

Wood-fired sauna. Garden shed with room for 3 people

You will live in a newly renovated cottage with old charm on a farm right next to Lake Hjälmaren. You share the courtyard with the host family, but have good opportunities for privacy. The cottage has a large south-facing veranda overlooking the forest, fields and lake. Nature offers a rich animal and bird life. At the beach, there is a swimming jetty, a sauna and good opportunities for fishing. The surroundings invite you to go cycling and hiking. A perfect place for both rest and activities. Stay in your own little cottage on a living farm with cows, sheep, horses and many other animals just outside your cottage. In the cottage, there is a bedroom with a double bed and bunk bed, a kitchen/living room and toilet with shower. Smålandstorps farm is located in Järnboås, 20 kilometers from Nora in Bergslagen. Close to forest and outdoor life, MTB trails, nice swimming lakes and fishing lakes. In the spring, calves and lambs are born on the farm and you as a guest can visit the animals.

Enjoy the 200° water views and spend the days swimming or fishing from the private jetty with 2 kayaks available for use. Pick berries or mushrooms in the nearby forest or walk on beautiful trails. Cuddle up next to the fireplace and enjoy the sunset before bed. In the winter, experience the white landscape, walk or ski on the frozen lake. Alpine or cross-country skiing in close driving proximity.

The guest cabin is located on a secluded part of our property where we live year-round. You have private access to the cabin, sauna, and terraces. The jetty is shared with us.

This beautiful lakeside cottage is the perfect starting point for lovely hiking in unspoiled nature or a quiet retreat in historic surroundings. Through the cabin window you can see the crystal clear lake which offers both fantastic views as well as wildlife, fishing or why not a morning swim from the private jetty. Within an hour you can reach the fantastic national park Tiveden or maybe the fort in Karlsborg. Where we are located, we have poor reception, but our wifi is of excellent quality

The cottage is located next to a very beautiful forest lake (not Vättern) and with only 13 meters to the swimming area. In the immediate area there are beautiful forests and land as well as nice MTB tracks. Two kayaks and a rowing boat is available during the summer. There is plenty of mushrooms and berries in the immediate area as well as hiking trails.
