Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Welcome to Grindstugan (4+2 Beds, 60 m2), a charming and functional house in the middle of picturesque Nora. Fully equipped cabin with proximity to hiking trails, bike trails and ski tracks. A stone's throw from Nora square and swimming and padel/tennis hall. Swimming area in about 10 minutes walking distance. About 30 minutes by car to Örebro. The garden is shared with host family and other guests, but you have access to your own barbecue and south/west facing patio where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening sun. Lovely vacation home for those who like animals and nature! Here you can fish, swim, hike and cycle. In the nearby area, there are several nature reserves as well as hiking and biking trails. You have access to a simple rowing boat (life jackets can be borrowed) and your own swimming cove or you can borrow our jetty where you can dive or fish. We are located between Örebro and Karlskoga in Norhammar. Towels and sheets are not included. For an additional cost, they can be rented from the host.

Family-friendly Lindesby, rural location, close to Nora

Välkommen till vårt fina hus i mysiga Lindesby. Stort hus med alla bekvämligheter, härligt lantkök (renoverat 2021), vardagsrum med braskamin. Fyra sovrum med plats för 6-8 personer. Lugnt läge i liten genuin by. Nära till skog och badsjöar. Men här finns också mataffär och skola. 20 km till den pittoreska staden Nora. Huset delar tomt med ett större hus där hyresvärden bor. Perfekt hus för dig som planerar att flytta till Sverige under tiden du letar efter ditt drömhus.

The gem of Norra Vätättern

On a ridge overlooking the beautiful archipelago of northern Vättern lies our modern, newly built holiday home with large social areas and a fantastic ceiling height with nice light inclusions. Here, a slightly larger group/family can find recovery with proximity to nature, yet it is only 10 minutes by car to the beautiful small town of Askersund. Tiveden National Park is close to Harjebaden's long sandy beach. The house was ready in autumn 2018 and has all amenities.

Gälleråsen

Rural accommodation 10 minutes outside of Karlskoga. 1 km to Gälleråsen motorbana 10 minutes to Lunnedet where there is a nice swimming area, miniature golf and cozy café. Several other swimming and fishing spots are easily reached by car. The guest is responsible for cleaning, taking out garbage and restoring the house to the condition it was in upon arrival. Alternatively, there is an additional cost for cleaning of SEK 1,000.

Lovely cottage (bath & fishing)

A typical charming Swedish red cottage in lovely surroundings next to a lake (2 min walk) with your own bathing place with platform, access to boat and one canoe for up to 3/4 persons and free fishing (You can borrow simpel fishing equipment). Fully equipped main house with 3 bedrooms. Additionally 1 small house available with 4 beds. It is very quiet and peaceful here and you will see the sheep and horses graze near the house.

Sandbacken modern cottage in the forest

A typical charming Swedish red cottage in lovely surroundings. Around 15 min walk to a beautiful lake Toften. Swimming, fishing, birdwatching, hiking, mountainbike ride, ice skating in the winter. Fully equipped house with all year around standards that can accomodate 6 people. It is very quiet and peaceful place. Towels and bedsheets are included !
