We've stayed at Mats place twice this year for a total of 6 weeks while working in Sweden. Mats has been great to deal with, is a fantastic host, always responsive and very welcoming. My wife and I came to stay with our infant son and they went out of their way to purchase an infant cot for him to sleep in, as well as brought up a high chair for him to sit at the table. The property is lovely and quiet, we even saw a moose from the living room window. Would highly recommend to others who are looking for somewhere quiet to stay near Ludvika.

Functional and charming house with a lot of comfort. Positive that linen and cleaning were included in the price. Lovely plot.

We've very much enjoyed our stay with Lena & Harald. The cabin was clean, cozy and well equipped for our stay. We were suprised with fresh flowers and eggs from from Lena's hens, which made us feel right at home. Nice and calm surroundings. The spaceous terrace with view over the lake was a highlight. Lena and Harald were very welcoming and hospitable and always responded quickly to our messages. We'd love to come back!

We felt super comfortable in the "castle" right from the start. The reception was warm and everything was well explained to us. We even borrowed a map of the northern surroundings of Lake Vättern. This allowed us to plan our excursions much better. Excellent! 👍🏼 In addition, those who are vacationing with a larger group will find little more suitable. The kitchen is huge, very cozy and the amenities left nothing to be desired. The rest of the furnishings were also stylish, tasteful and practical. The beds were great for sleeping. All in all, our vacation was perfect. We are happy to have stayed in such a beautiful place. Simply recommended!

Daniel was very service minded and responded quickly and friendly/informative to all questions ahead of time. The house is well appointed, in tip top luxury condition with wonderful garden/ peaceful outdoor area with small swimming pool. We have already booked the same week for next summer (2025). We had a great time with the extended family at Thérèse's. This house has a lot of soul and we enjoyed every detail. There were between 8 and 10 of us during the period and we never felt crowded. The kitchen is very well-equipped. A real joy. Go ahead, you won't be disappointed...

Perfect for trekking travelers like us! Located directly on the Bergslagsleden and has everything you need. The café next door was totally cozy and the location next to the monastery ruins & directly on the lake could not be better. The busy road nearby is absolutely not disturbing. The toilet and shower are in the building around the corner & are shared with guests and campsite users - these are super clean and nicely decorated. We had nothing to complain about and highly recommend this place.

We had a short but lovely stay at Therese's place. The cabin is small, simple and charming. The kids loved all the friendly animals to say the least and have already decided we're going back next year. We took a walk through the horse pasture to the jetty to swim in the river. The horses came immediately to say hello and honestly it will not be more idyllic than the visit to this farm. Our absolute favorite became the nude cats that we couldn't get enough of. Therese is super nice and hospitable. My son is football-stoky and there is a nice big natural grass field just 1 km from the farm. The road outside the house is even perfect for long distance running, I barely met a car on the morning ride. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Great cottage for quick, but comfortable access to the natual wilderness of sweden. Felt right at home; very warm and friendly welcome. The accomodation is very cozy and offers everything you need for a vacation. Highly recommended!

Super harmonious and idyllic environment. Highlights are the sauna, the outdoor shower, the sup boards and the quiet secluded location. The cabin is furnished in a super detailed way and offers everything you need and even more for entertainment and employment. Mattias and Lisa are super sweet and quick to respond to questions or other matters. We would come back here anytime!

Smooth check-in and good contact with the host Anna. The accommodation was great, 8 men got plenty of space on two extra mattresses. Convenient if you want to play golf in Örebro!

It was very nice at the lake with a private boat. A nice place to relax, the warm outdoor shower is highly recommended! The toilet was very clean and pleasant. We felt completely comfortable.

Staying at Silke's is a stay in the Swedish paradise. The red cottage is located directly on a large lake, surrounded by forest. As always, it was enchanting and Silke's hospitality legendary. We used the sauna, which is located directly on the lake, as well as the boat and were swimming in the lake. Since the weather was rather changeable, we hiked the area and promised to come back. After two weeks, we left happy and relaxed. Thank you dear Silke for everything! See you soon!
