We had an amazing time in Hostelería's place. it was as beautiful as shown in the pictures with stunning views. it's a perfect place for nature lovers and for a peaceful holiday. Our host was very friendly despite having language barrier, he was very helpful. He even got us food and was happy to bring whatever we needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday.

The house is perfect for groups, very spacious and with everything you need to spend a few days. It is also close to many towns and beautiful routes. 100% recommended.

We were spending a weekend in this house and we loved it, it has all the amenities and the setting is beautiful. Each room has its own fully equipped and very clean bathroom. Beautiful rural garden refuge in the heart of the Merindades, an area of impressive natural beauty and full of lovely medieval (from 10th century on) cities and towns. Santi has put a lot of time and effort to build his private refuge and we felt grateful he shared with us. Him and his wife were fantastic hosts and full of helpful suggestions. Their dogs Jackie & Chan were affectionate and playful. The place was huge, well decorated and spotless. All amenities, modern kitchen and cabinets, great bathrooms with a jacuzzi, working wood burning stove and a huge garden with a sitting/dining area and pond with ducks. Private parking of course. Butrera is a tiny town with a lovely romanic church but just a few miles of Villarcayo with plenty of restaurants and a Carrefour supermarket. A really unique place in our extensive experiences with Airbnb's. Our one regret is that we were there only two nights but we will be back to this astonishing area before international tourism discovers it.

My friends and I had a great weekend in the countryside. The house is large and quiet, just as we wanted. We'll be happy to come back!

We've spent two days on Christmas 12 adults, a boy and two dogs and it's been great. The house was as seen in the photos. The kitchen in the house downstairs is huge and we were able to eat all together without problems. Communication with Asier was quick and easy, he answered all our questions with infinite patience. I recommend it 100%.

perfect apartment for a couple stay. You can go with the dog, the mountain views are a delight, the bed is spacious and comfortable, the garden is very manicured with sun loungers, umbrella, table and chairs. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. We were very comfortable, to repeat!

The house is even more beautiful than in the photos, with plenty of space and a huge window in the living room overlooking the valley, where you can see how the clouds stay in the lower part. It has a giant patio, a good fireplace and a perfectly equipped kitchen with everything you need. All the rooms are large with good beds and duvets, and with three bathrooms, all very comfortable and complete as well as beautiful. The house's climate control is perfect with radiant floor heating. It's super comfortable, everything was great. Communication with Javier was very good and he also shows you nearby routes and places of interest.

We had a fantastic few days. We were looking for peace and quiet and to disconnect, and we got it. A very nice little house, with everything you need, in the middle of a small town, with animals nearby. Excellent accommodation. It had everything to spend a few days. Abundant kitchenware, and basic supplies (salt, oil…) Mercedes was kind enough to leave us a typical sweet. The garden is excellent, the views are incredible, and both my son and our dog enjoyed it to the fullest. It is a highly recommended accommodation. And if you want peace and quiet and good views, this is your place. We will definitely repeat if the occasion arises. Thank you for everything!

The place is perfect for a large group as it has many rooms, many beds and bathrooms. The house is super clean and has a lot of natural light. The location is perfect for spending a few days relaxing among the mountains, with a perfect garden to take in the air and make meals. At night you can even see the constellations. Carmen and her family were very kind and welcomed us very well, we were very comfortable and we would definitely repeat.

A small house in a cozy village with all utensils and supplies available. The bed is comfortable as well as the pillows. The fireplace is great, although you have to give notice before arriving to have it. The projector is used to watch national TV, but we were not able to set up Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO or Disney+. The ascent/descent of the mountain is two-way and somewhat narrow. The landscape is very nice since you can also see animals up close such as horses, cows and sheep. The town is small and very dog-friendly, with dogs that guide you and don't separate from you. It's very quiet without traffic and is the ideal house to disconnect from the world and enjoy the sounds of nature. Recommended places to go: En Arenas; Casa Xurde, Calluenga, Sidrería Ribeles. In Cangas de Onis; The boat and go to the Sunday market. Buy the broad bean and moscovita bean dish in Cangas and Cabrales cheese in Asiegu at the only Casa Niembro bar. Wonderful stay in Cabezón de Liébana, Javier had the house spectacular, we would have liked to stay longer, we will repeat! The only downside is the check-in time at 4pm !

A magnificent house, very quiet. A barbecue outside and everything is very good inside. Great communication with the owners. They also give very useful information about the area. Totally recommended, when we return to Atapuerca, we will return to this house.

It was a great stay, the house has everything you need and is super cozy. A very quiet area to enjoy nature, in a spectacular setting and centrally located to visit any point in Cantabria. Israel was very kind and told us places to go and eat. A big plus was the towel and blanket for our little dog. Thank you for everything, a luxury vacation!

The house is great to spend a few quiet days and visit the area, everything is very clean and cared for, it has the essentials but it is true that we miss an oven. Good house, in a very quiet area but a very friendly village where everyone is kind. Ideal for trips around Picos de Europa.

They were waiting for us at the exact time of arrival. A visit to all areas and services and recommendations of what to see and visit in the area, since it is the typical village that the baker comes to in a van... which is exactly what we were looking for. The brochures with tourist recommendations and welcome gifts (fruit, coffee, breakfast...) won us over completely. The house is brand new, very well isolated and the garden is well cared for. Pilar has well deserved the title of superhost. Thank you very much for your kindness and attention.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the house. Surrounded by mountains and trees with the sound of cowbells and birds, this is a special place that gave us peace and privacy. It was close to Potes for restaurants and the museum in the Torre. Also close to Fuente de and historic churches and villages. The house was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We spent pleasant afternoons on the outdoor terrace. Marisol was a helpful host. Highly recommended.
