Monthly Rentals in Orange Township

I love a farmhouse: the wood floors, the barn, the pond. The house appears to have been recently professionally renovated, including the barn. The place was spotless. The oven and kitchen was all new: fridge, oven, etc. Bedroom’s were nice, and each included space heaters that allowed you to set the temperature you wanted unique to each room. (The entire house had central heat / air; but since my kids like their rooms colder and my wife and I like it warmer, this was an unexpected benefit). We spent time in the barn playing games instead of by the pond, although the pond was beautiful to look at. The barn, unlike every barn Ive been in since birth, was NOT dust-filled. You can use it to host events. We used it to play games, listen to music, and sing. Would absolutely come back here hands down. Highly recommend.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay than what we experienced at The Mad Cat Inn! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless—truly one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. The attention to detail was exceptional, and it was clear that our hosts genuinely care about providing a first-class experience. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with fresh linens that made it easy to unwind after a long day. The towels were soft, clean, and felt brand new. We were especially impressed by the thoughtful selection of high-quality toiletries—something you don’t always find in short-term rentals, but such a welcome touch. The large hot tub was an absolute highlight—crystal clear, perfectly maintained, and a dream to relax in under the stars. Add to that the fantastic location—convenient yet peaceful—and you have a gem of a getaway. We’re already looking forward to coming back, and we can’t recommend The Mad Cat Inn highly enough.

During our stay at jenny’s place we brought our 2 dogs and from the moment we entered it was like being right at home. the dogs absolutely loved the back yard and dog bed upstairs. all the furniture is comfortable, the town is amazing! highly recommend the galena diner and the coffee vault is perfect as well! local trails and fishing as well as shopping! jenny was sure to respond quickly and be so kind! the locals in town were so friendly and talked to us and waved as they drove by! sitting on the front porch drinking my coffee with my dogs and having a fire in the back yard with our family was the perfect getaway we needed! the home is very private, clean, and cozy! I will be booking with jenny in the future when we return to visit family.

The house is in a very accessible area and they have a well-stocked kitchen! Angelo was a great host checking in. We will stay again when we visit family.
