Excellent place to stay. Beautiful landscape and easy access to the mountains

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Great location, very quiet and beautiful decor. We didn’t want to leave!

Beautifully sized rooms, very bright, private parking nearby, good bedding. Nice city.

The apartment was very clean and quiet!! Other great views! You can see the sun rising from behind the mountains and setting again... you can immediately walk from the apartment. And we made a lot of use of the Konus guest card for traveling. Very nice walks made in the Black Forest , beautiful surroundings even with rain!! We will definitely come back again!!

The place was very clean and lovingly maintained. I was particularly impressed by the breathtaking view - simply fantastic! Check-in went smoothly, Samara and Farhath were friendly and helpful. I would come back anytime and highly recommend this place!

Just a great apartment and host

We stayed 2 weeks at Bernd's place and enjoyed every minute. The appt. is very roomy and well equipped, the surrounding is fabulous for hiking and also easy to get around with car. only missing was a good wi-fi connection, still we managed to communicate when needed. I highly reccommend it for poeple looking for a quiet stay in the woods with a lot of hiking

Great stay in the Black Forest. Clara's accommodation is superbly located for beautiful hikes at the foot of the apartment. Very convenient, it feels good, very comfortable for four with 2 teenagers who had the living room. On foot, by bus or by car, there is plenty to do without driving for hours (Europa Park remains largely accessible). We recommend it!

We spent 3 nights here. The surroundings are very beautiful, it is quiet and cozy, the apartment is clean, small but has all the functions and for such a place the price is great.

Apartment was neatly furnished, everything present, clean and comfortable. Marco had thorough information for us in the house, from operating appliances to where we could do groceries. Kniebis is small but an excellent place to take walks and explore the Schwarzwald. Thanks Marco, we had a great week!

Cecilia is a very warm host and is ready to help. She provided us with a lot of tips and suggestions which we followed and thanks to her enjoyed the black forest region in its fullest. The apartment has superb views, has everything in the kitchen one could need. Ample towels and blankets and of course the highlight is the fireplace. we travelled with our 9 year old son and did treks in the black forest and visited Strasbourg. There is a super big couch in the living room where we enjoyed movies on the television and spent the evenings playing games (there a lot of them in the vintage cupboard at the entrance). I would definitely recommend this place to any traveler who loves nature and wishes to see it everyday while being at home in Cecilia's apartment.

A great apartment where you can only feel comfortable! The amenities are great! The balcony and the view are fantastic!

Very nice, cozy and lovingly furnished apartment. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is wonderful, Appenweier is a very nice town. On the first day, there was fresh bread from farmers around the corner. We felt very comfortable.

Our year 2025 could not have started better. Thanks for that 🙏 We were greeted personally by Milla & Grace, and we immediately felt welcome thanks to the brief introduction from the two. For us, it was the perfect place to relax, the incredibly beautiful panoramic windows invite you to do yoga or linger. Two other pluses were the sauna and the great free-standing bathtub. We will be happy to come back and can recommend the spacious apartment to anyone looking for something special.

The apartment is very nice with a great view of the city in the distance and part of the river. It’s December, heating was on and it was very cozy. There is a bakery and grocery store nearby. It’s a short tram ride into the city centre. We made use of the three day pass as suggested by Anais and that worked out well. The tram is at the base of the building and goes right through to the train station which is an added bonus. Overall a great place to stay. Thanks Anais.

Great apartment in a quiet neighborhood. There were two of us with a dog. The four of us might get a little tight. Jérôme is very accommodating and always available. We had a lovely extended weekend.

This is by far the cleanest B&B I’ve ever stayed in – absolutely spotless. The kitchen was well-equipped and thoughtfully stocked with seasonings and a variety of beverages. Both the living room and bedroom were tastefully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bathroom and toilet were supplied with high-quality cleaning products, including disinfectant wipes, which was a lovely touch. Although the parking space is a short walk away, it was still acceptable. One pleasant surprise was the presence of a lift in the building, which made access much easier. It would be even better if there were a clothes rack in one of the rooms, but overall, everything was very well arranged. The host was extremely helpful, and all instructions were clearly communicated. The location is excellent – right in the city centre, making everything very convenient. The only thing to get used to was the spiral staircase, but it added character to the place.
