The cottage is located down a short gravel lane shared by the owners. When it rains expect to walk through puddles. In the winter, if we have a heavy snow expect our shovels as soon as the day starts!

A tranquil country setting with a private fishing lake to enjoy. The lodge is completely independent of our home with separate entrance. Access to the lake for enjoyment including a boat and canoe (waiver required). We are in the country, but only minutes from Council Bluffs, Downtown or West Omaha. Whether you are looking for a weekend-get-away, the College World Series, Berkshire Hathaway Week, NCAA B-Ball, Olympic Trials, or work we have one of the best locations around for relaxing.

It's just a short walk to downtown Benson and about a 10 minute drive to popular districts like Downtown, CWS, Zoo, Blackstone, Dundee & the airport.
