We had a wonderful stay here for three nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The place was cozy, warm, and very welcoming. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and tons of activities to do, especially up in the mountains. The rooms are spacious, and the heaters kept us warm throughout the night. It’s a smart home, and all the technology worked smoothly and was very responsive. I’m definitely coming back and will be booking this place again! A special thank you to the host—he went above and beyond with his recommendations, from great restaurants to local activities. He even helped us find the best places to rent ski equipment at great prices. I didn’t even need to take photos of the house because the ones on Google were spot on—what you see is exactly what you get. Plus, the price is very reasonable. Thank you so much for having us!

Masaya's Airbnb was exactly as described in the photos. The location was quiet and very close to multiple restaurants and points of interest. If you are looking for a traditional Japanese style place to stay, this is it.

Rustic accommodation in an unbelievably beautiful place. The house is spacious and comfortable. Chie and her family are very special people who made our stay a highlight. our second stay at this lovely place.

We had an inspiring experience with a place that was perfect. 1. Location - You can walk enough from Shimano Omachi Station. It's about a 20-30 minute walk, so it's not a short distance, but the path to get there is beautiful, so it's good to enjoy the area. 2. Accommodation - The house is consistent with the instructions and is great for a great view through the windows that are open in four directions. The interior structure is fun, the furniture is cleanly maintained, and there is one toilet and bathroom, but it is separated, so there was no major inconvenience for 6 people to visit and use. 3. Host - Perfect host! I had a great one-night experience at the property and was traveling by train for about an hour by train for my next trip, and I found out that I left a bag with my passport in the house...! Our group, who was in a panic, thought about how to do it for a long time, and first contacted the host... something like a miracle happened. The host drove 40km from Shimano Omachi to Matsumoto and delivered the luggage we left behind. Thank you so much, I was so sorry and so impressed. With this one event, we were all very touched by this trip and people. Thank you again And if you are looking for this accommodation, we hope you don't have to worry about it. This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed at the Creekhouse and we love it. The house was big enough to comfortably host 7. We had a van which gave us great access to the local ski resorts and restaurants. Underfloor heating in this place is a game changer, going to be hard to stay anywhere else without it.

Lianne is a super friendly and responsive host. The place is cozy as your own home with the great pellet stove.

The house is very well kept, has 4 rooms that are clean and many amenities that we enjoyed. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Amazing house!

Excellent accomodation, felt very homely. Exceptional amenities and the access to vehicle provided was a huge plus. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend and very worth the value. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Japan.

Justin place was well equipped with all of the needs that would helps you have a great stay. From cooking utensils to oil, salt and pepper to netflix. Having towels and soap is something i would always expect at most accommodation but cooking your own meal made my stay nice and a break from restaurant food. I would highly recommend staying.

It was a very beautiful hostel. The view from the window was also good and the atmosphere was calm. However, the owner was not available when I checked in, and even if I asked the employee, I waited for a moment. It is a bit disappointing that we had to wait about 30 minutes for check-in.

Great hospitality, tidy and clean!

The house is just as special and welcoming as the photos look! Gorgeous design and attention to detail. Very memorable stay with the vinyl records and wood burning fireplace. Matt and Maya were exceptional hosts and really went out of their way to help us figure out taxi situations as we had forgotten to get an international driver's license. Don't forget this if you haven't already applied for one as you can't rent a car in Japan without one! Enjoy the stay!

This place just simply great for our large group. Lots of very well equipped rooms. Wonderful living space with elegantly furnished which made it feel like a luxurious villa house. Extremely lovely surroundings for a walk around. Kids had a wonderful time. Regret that we booked just for a night only. We will come back again.
