We had a family vacation at Jesse's beautiful farmhouse situated among the vineyards with breathtaking views and lovely yard and pool. It was a great home base for us as we explored the beautiful Duoro Valley and would recommend to anyone looking for a Portugal get-away!

Ha sido una estancia de desconexión total, mucha tranquilidad, todo perfecto la casa es tal cual se ve y se describe en el anunció, no le falta de nada, las camas muy cómodas se duerme de lujo, hemos disfrutado muchísimo de la barbacoa y el buen tiempo. Jesús Manuel es una persona muy agradable en todo momento ha mostrado interés porque la estancia fuera de 10, nos recomendó lugares para visitar, rutas saliendo desde la casa muy bonitas para hacer en familia en todo momento disponible. Mil gracias Jesús Una estancia de 10 por supuesto que repetiremos 100% recomendable.

Such a wonderful place and wonderful hosts! It’s remote, too far normally to walk to town, but our hosts did a great job of supplying us with breakfast food and wine, so we were never without the important things. Beautiful place, beautiful views, lovely pool (too cold to use when we went), sauna and workout room. Wineries all around the area. Many thanks to our very responsive and enjoyable host, Tania

Phillipa and Paul were absolutely lovely to work with and their property is unbelievable! We felt like we owned a Quinta for a few nights! we got to explore the property, visit with Paul and one of their sons, and savor the beauty of the Douro. They were proactive with communication and sourced a number of wonderful adventures, activities and meals. Without their guidance our trip would have been less fun!

This was the most magical place for our family of five. I now want to come back and try all of Miguel’s other properties. A true highlight was taking advantage of the connections to local vendors that come with the hosts recommendations. Private dinner at the Pinta Lounge was amazing . I said to my husband at one point , “ I am so happy I could cry” - that sums up this cottage.

La estancia ha sido perfecta, todo estaba correcto y fiel a las fotos y descripción. Lugar perfecto para desconectar y descansar. Punto a favor, que a nuestra llegada esta la casa calentita y con un detalle para nosotros. Repetiremos !! Gracias.

Our family of 5 loved our stay in the Chalet. It is in such beautiful surroundings overlooking a waterfall & in a great location for many walks as well as nearby local restaurants. The chalet was warm & comfortable with everything we needed. Pedro’s recommendations & local knowledge was really appreciated. Would love to stay again - highly recommend!

Excelente hospedagem. O apartamento é muito confortável, com todos os equipamentos necessários. Excelente localização, a poucos minutos de caminhada do centro histórico, de mercados e de bons restaurantes (destaque para a pizzaria Bella Ciao). Fácil para estacionar em frente ao apartamento ou bem próximo, na rua principal. A recepção foi excelente, a Cati foi muito acolhedora e simpática, nos mostrou todo o local e nos deu dicas sobre a cidade, além de ter deixado pão, manteiga, leite, suco e diversos outros produtos disponíveis para a nossa estadia. Obrigado!!! Certamente será a nossa escolha, se voltarmos a Ciudad Rodrigo.

Luisa is a great host: very kind and friendly! She has surprised us with a rich breakfast full of local veggies from the garden and traditional bread from the region. Her suggestions have also helped us to come with a road trip plan for the next day. Very picturesque scenery, great views, comfortable, thoughtful and cozy house with modern equipment and stylish furniture. Everything was clean and functioned amazingly. We were more than satisfied! If we come back to Douro Valley again, we'd definitely make a stop there again!
