Vacation rentals in Olmedo de Camaces

We had a family vacation at Jesse's beautiful farmhouse situated among the vineyards with breathtaking views and lovely yard and pool. It was a great home base for us as we explored the beautiful Duoro Valley and would recommend to anyone looking for a Portugal get-away!

It has been a stay of total disconnection, a lot of tranquility, everything is perfect. The house is as seen and described in the listing, it does not lack anything, the beds are very comfortable, the beds are very comfortable, we have enjoyed the barbecue and the good weather. Jesús Manuel is a very nice person who is very nice at all times has shown interest because the stay was 10, he recommended places to visit, routes leaving the house very nice to do as a family at all times available. A stay of 10 of course we will repeat 100% recommended.

Such a wonderful place and wonderful hosts! It’s remote, too far normally to walk to town, but our hosts did a great job of supplying us with breakfast food and wine, so we were never without the important things. Beautiful place, beautiful views, lovely pool (too cold to use when we went), sauna and workout room. Wineries all around the area. Many thanks to our very responsive and enjoyable host, Tania

Phillipa and Paul were absolutely lovely to work with and their property is unbelievable! We felt like we owned a Quinta for a few nights! we got to explore the property, visit with Paul and one of their sons, and savor the beauty of the Douro. They were proactive with communication and sourced a number of wonderful adventures, activities and meals. Without their guidance our trip would have been less fun!

This was the most magical place for our family of five. I now want to come back and try all of Miguel’s other properties. A true highlight was taking advantage of the connections to local vendors that come with the hosts recommendations. Private dinner at the Pinta Lounge was amazing . I said to my husband at one point , “ I am so happy I could cry” - that sums up this cottage.

The stay was perfect, everything was correct and true to the photos and description. Perfect place to disconnect and rest. A point in favor, that upon our arrival the house was warm and with a gift for us. We'll be back !! Thank you.

Our family of 5 loved our stay in the Chalet. It is in such beautiful surroundings overlooking a waterfall & in a great location for many walks as well as nearby local restaurants. The chalet was warm & comfortable with everything we needed. Pedro’s recommendations & local knowledge was really appreciated. Would love to stay again - highly recommend!

Excellent hosting. The apartment is very comfortable with all the necessary equipment. Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the historic center, markets and good restaurants (highlight the Bella Ciao pizzeria). Easy to park in front of the apartment or very close by, on the main street. The reception was excellent, Cati was very welcoming and friendly, she showed us the whole place and gave us tips about the city, in addition to leaving bread, butter, milk, juice and several other products available for our stay. Thank you!!! It will certainly be our choice if we return to Ciudad Rodrigo.

Luisa is a great host: very kind and friendly! She has surprised us with a rich breakfast full of local veggies from the garden and traditional bread from the region. Her suggestions have also helped us to come with a road trip plan for the next day. Very picturesque scenery, great views, comfortable, thoughtful and cozy house with modern equipment and stylish furniture. Everything was clean and functioned amazingly. We were more than satisfied! If we come back to Douro Valley again, we'd definitely make a stop there again!
