Lovely apartment by the lake. We got up everyday with beautiful view of lake como by the window. Very calmed, not far from Villa del balbianello 6 minutes by car.

We had an absolutely amazing place. The view is just stunning and 'matched' the photos (although they don't it justice). Marzio was a fantastic communicator, and his wife met us in person for check in. We really enjoyed Lezzeno, between Como and Bellagio

Loved our stay. Truly a beautiful and quiet part of the lake. The flat was perfect for two and we loved being able to just step outside for a dip in the lake. Would highly recommend.

Big thanks to Serena who is the nicest host which I met, after few days you feel like at home, She is super helpful and sending a lot of information regarding nearest attractions, restaurants, transport etc. Always proactive ❤️ Lovely place with one of the most beautiful views. We were really sad that we need to leave it, definitely if we will have a chance we will come back!!

Ettore's place was perfect for my wife and me! It matched the description well and was very clean. It is perfectly located right by the Varenna square and a short walk down to the water. Ettore picked us up off of the train and helped us get settled. Upon check-out we walked to the train station which is about 10-minutes away. The best part of the apartment is its location. Out the front door there is an excellent restaurant (Il Cavitappi) and wine shop (In Vinis Veritas). Albergo del Sole is a couple of (short) blocks away and is perfect for pizza. Gelato and breakfast stops are also very close. We rented a boat for the day and the dock is also very close to the apartment.

I would give this place ten stars if I could! The view is amazing. The place was just like the pictures and it was nice to have a little kitchenette. Gianluca was so kind and a great host! Definitely would recommend!

We will be back! Sylvia was a great host, offering so many suggestions and with train construction a mess her husband helped us get from Lecco and he was so personable and kind! This place is beautiful and located in the perfect spot within walking distance to the lakefront restaurants and shops! It was like a dream staying here! Even left us a prosecco to toast our arrival in a heavenly place! Thank you for making our stay perfect!!

Wonderful apartment, prepared for all needs: tools for beach lounging, indoor games, spices, coffee, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom. The view of the lake from the window is captivating. Perfect underground parking for those arriving by car. The local ferry station is about a 15-minute walk away. An exclusive restaurant is a two-minute walk away.

Monica’s place was outstanding The pictures did not do justice to the views Wow! Monica was very good communicating with us right from the start Check in was very straightforward and she even left us a bottle of Prosecco and water Monica is very thoughtful and her place was spotless and well furnished She responded very promptly to all our questions and offered great recommendations for transport , shops and restaurants Overall our stay was beyond our expectations and we are definitely coming back next year Hopefully by which time the C10 bus may be regular 😂 and on time !

Beautiful house, stunning location and truly wonderfully accommodating people hosting. If you're looking to avoid the overcrowded tourist version of this stunning area and reconnect with nature, this is the right place for you. Will be back for sure!

We had such a great time. The place had everything we needed, it’s a in quiet location but within walking distance to the cute town with swimming, restaurants and a nice vibe. Monica’s guidebook had some great recommendations too.

Thank you so much for an incredible stay. The apartment is amazing, with beautiful views. Maurizio was a super helpful host and was really clear prior to booking about the building works next door. They didn't effect our stay at all in the 3 days there was barely any noise (i think most the major construction is complete anyway). Maurizio gave us some lovely recommendations and with a car it's really easy to get around. Would definitely recommend and love to come back!

They say that Bellagio is the jewel of lake como , i believe its Where you stay and also the host , I have been in different places with different and marvelous location but nothing comparable with a place that you feel comfortable in during your stay,and what even makes your stay beyond expectations is the host and i believe Deborah did really made things lovely and easy specially for someone that is not familiar with local customs or the location Simply one of the most beautiful experiences i’v ever had and strongly recommend the place as the photos does not do justice to the place trust me

Luisella and her husband were very friendly and helpful getting us settled. They took the time to share recommendations for restaurants and hikes. They also had a map handy and wrote out the places they were recommending. The house was fabulous and in a great location - loved being able to listen to the nearby waterfall when we had our windows open. Also appreciated ability to walk to downtown Varenna. It was only a 20 minute walk and preferred to have a house in a quieter place. Our stay was perfect in every way!

All I can say is book this Airbnb you’ll feel like royalty. The location, the gardens the whole Villa was a dream. So beautiful and the host went above and beyond to make it special for us. I will 100% come back to this Airbnb

We had a great stay. Arriving by ferry, almost opposite the apartment, Gian was waiting to greet us. The apartment is just as described, perfect for a few nights. Gian offered us lots of suggestions, including tips for the hiking we planned to do up the mountain, which was amazing. A beautiful place to stay.

It was super nice stay in this apartment. Owner was very frendly and helpful. Apartment was very clean and had everything wat is necessary and even more. Recomend 100%

Absolutely wonderful stay 😊 the flat and the views are absolutely gorgeous!! In a quieter area of lake Como, but it is an absolute gem. Still plenty of bars/restaurants within walking distance, and a little shop as well. There is a wonderful bar/cafe a 10 min walk down the lake front, which is the best place I’ve had my morning coffee. Musso will now be our base for future visits to Lake Como - there are few tourists but a 10 min drive to Menaggio where you can catch the ferry to Como, Bellagio and Varenna (among others). We didn’t go to Como, but Varenna and Bellagio were each a 15 min boat ride. Simone was extremely helpful with recommendations, and also when we extended our trip for a few days. You must catch the sunrise on the balcony - it is magical, as is the whole place! Plenty of parking, and a little beach right infront of the apartment. Cannot recommend enough, and we will be back. Great lake view, clean apartment. The surroundings are also great to explore by car! Without it, it is rather difficult, as the place is unfortunately not really walkable. We had a very relaxing and beautiful vacation there!

Loved staying in BELLANO at Paola’s house. It has the perfect view and away from the hustle bustle of tourists in Como yet very accessible to all place via Ferry which is a short walk. Paola was great host who even came to pick and drop use to the nearby station. Would recommend it highly!
