This is an outstanding place for kids and furry friends. Sue and Jim could not have been more helpful or welcoming - the cottage is pristine, cosy and with all you need no matter the weather. The grounds are stunning; affording you real privacy and lots to explore and do from climbing trees to den making, and all whilst surrounded by nature. You are only 10 mins from Inverurie which has plenty of shops to meet your needs. A trip to the Old Post Office for brilliant cakes, Castle Fraser and Kemnay are worth a visit as is the Pit Stop for a great fry up and the Gordon Highlanders museum is perfect for a raining day. Easily the most pet friendly place we have ever stayed.

The Bothy is a great place from which to explore the local area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

Great big living room and bedroom that our 2 year old enjoyed playing in. Comfy chairs and sofa for relaxing in front of the fire. Alison was a lovely host and really on top of communication. coming home to a warm fire was perfect! Would certainly stay again.

Great place and great host. My daughters loved feeding the horses through their bedroom window!! Lesley was really helpful, provided lots of freebies and recommended some great local day trips- Seal beach in Newburgh was tremendous!
