Waterfront vacation rentals in Ohio River

When we visit family in Marietta and the spot is available, it is where we will stay. The market below has delicious subs and Marietta Brewery is a block away.

We really enjoyed our stay at Amy’s place! The apartment was very cute and homey with all amenities you could need. The location was great for exploring some of the parts of New River Gorge National Park off the beaten path, and it was beautiful and peaceful being right on the river. The trains passing by were a bit loud during the night and the water did have a sulphur smell, however, those things are listed in the description of the apartment, so it did not impact my rating since we came in knowing what to expect. Amy was also a very responsive and friendly host!

Great deal for everything you get, we wanted a quiet weekend before holiday craziness started and it was exactly what we wanted! The hosts were so helpful and clear and quickly responded to questions. We hope to come back in the summer time!

Just a stopover for us, but we found it fine for our needs. Very secure building, nice and quiet, Devion was gracious and helpful, it had the basics. Nice brewery restaurant a couple of blocks away and a small taproom right in the building itself.

This space had everything I was looking for in my weekend getaway. It was quiet, private, clean, quaint and walkable to the shops and restaurants. The private deck was wonderful to relax on in the evenings. The hosts were very responsive and friendly.

Lots of space. Convenient location to walk around Garrettville.

Been there twice. Both times where great. If you love nature this is the place. Deer every morning and evening. Birds all kinds. And of course fish. Very clean, quiet and peaceful. Hosts are very nice. We'll be back soon.

The house was wonderful. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Our family loved how peaceful it was.

We had an excellent Labor Day weekend. The cottage met our needs and kept us comfortable while we boated, swam, ate, and participated in the Indian Lake Ring of Fire festivities (with LED “torches”). Thanks Kent for the hospitality, and thank your brother for the quick and friendly communication!

This was our second time we have stayed at one of Ryan's properties. His properties are beautiful you can see that from the photos. Our stay was so relaxing and enjoyable exactly what we all needed. We felt welcomed and "hosted" throughout our marvelous three-night stay. Shari went out of her way to provide a wonderful home for our family as we gathered from multiple states. The accommodations exceeded expectations. She intuitively provided items in the home that even we (experienced guests) didn't anticipate. Everything about our time at Dock Holiday was a step above. Communication could not have been better. Everything was perfectly in order for a tremendous time away from the busyness of Nashville. Our many thanks for this special location, special home, and special time!

Very lovely home in a picturesque location. We only needed to stop and sleep but I would love to go back and stay longer. The home was very clean and super comfortable. The host was very accommodating and we would definitely recommend!

What an incredible location to sit back relax, fish, Boat, unplugged from the day-to-day grind.. Such an amazing host. Everything was amazing the 10 turkeys in the morning walking through the backyard and the eight deer running through the yard grazing and then hopping the fence to disappear into the wood. The wonderful cake that she supplied us with that was homemade on our arrival went ahead and said everything without having to say anything. What an amazing place definitely well worth the travel in the money. If you’re looking for a place to just sit back relax and have everything Right at your fingertips. This is the place to be. Next time we go down definitely will bring our boat to park at one of the two slips that are right in the backyard. Thank you very much Ruth for the wonderful weekend and allowing us to experience the home and its surroundings.

Stayed at Kari’s place for the weekend and had a wonderful time with my family. I definitely would book with her again! She was very proactive with instructions and flexible with check in/out times. The house was super clean and the view from the back porch was beautiful! We also had great weather and were able to use the kayaks that were available. Made some great memories.

I was surprised how much better this was than the pictures. I was on a business trip and this was right across the river from the convention center and very convenient. I was able to control the room temp and that is important to me for sleep comfort. Host was very responsive and fast when I checked in after 11:00PM. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Was in town to see concert at The Brooklyn Bowl. This location was an easy 5 minute walk to venue. There was construction going on across the street that made getting into location a little difficult if using gps but not a big issue.

Great location to have pets and walkable to see downtown. Great stay and we got to see everything we wanted in Nashville.

The owner is very responsive and nice. The place was extremely clean and we had no issues with checking in or out. Our stay was also booked very last minute and host was able to accommodate us without issues. Very happy with our stay!

River view and wildlife were great!

The AirB&B description of this condo is perfect and accurate. Brittany is a very responsive host and replied to a couple of questions we had very promptly. The condo is clean bright and airy with a good view of the river. The little patio was a nice touch. The condo is well equipped,plenty of linens and bathrooms supplies as is the kitchen with a good collection of amenities including a good selection of hot beverages options. A bonus especially in a city location was plenty of on site parking right outside the condo. The location is perfectly situated to explore the city. The surrounding area is going through a renovation phase with lots of renovations going on. There are several good restaurants and local bars within a 15 to 20 minutes walk around German town, which we considered safe walking even on the late evening. Down town and Broadway is about a 20 to 30 minute walk along the river path,again we felt save walking there day and night even though it was a little quiet. This

Debbie and Bill's place was exactly as described - only better! We had a beautiful view of the Cumberland River and loved watching the tug boats move the barge's down the river! Their place is spotless, well equipped and we felt so much at home. Debbie was so responsive to any questions we had. The Airbnb is so conveniently located to Broadway, restaurants and museums. We absolutely loved Nashville and I plan to bring my daughter her next time. Great music on Broadway and so much fun!! Thank you Debbie and Bill - we will sure stay with you next time! Jordan's place was as described with nice linen's, comfortable beds, coffee/tea supplies, and good location between downtown and Germantown. The river view was my favorite thing! The place is very clean, a bit worn but very comfortable, nice furniture. We had a bit of trouble getting in with a glitchy keypad but tried enough times to get it to work. Jordan replied quickly when contacted! No condiments or toiletries so have your own (we did) and plan to walk 10-15 minutes to restaurants. Easy to rideshare to Broadway, etc. We would definitely stay again!
