The breakfast in the morning was amazing, homemade food. The set up the breakfast table every morning and were so quick and quiet you didn't even know they were there. The farm is very relaxing and beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed being unplugged for the weekend.

Had a very nice getaway at the Maybell house! The property was private, peaceful and very clean. The house is not far from shops and restaurants. Would definitely come back!

This was our second time staying at their home. It is the most peaceful place we have ever stayed at. we look forward to our next time!!!!

The Wolfe Gilbert House can be described as being elegantly rustic. One can tell the house has been there for many years. Once the inside, all of the expected modern conveniences and furnishings can be found. A working farm and fields surround the Airbnb. The screened-in front porch is the jewel of the residence which is suitable for casual gatherings or relaxation. This is a great Airbnb to simply unwind!!!

Amazing place! The house had a lot of history but plenty of sleep space for our family. The Land was breathtaking! We will be back!

Our 4th and best stay yet! The baby goats were adorable, even if they nibbled on our son's hair, boots, shirt, and pants! Nancy made us feel right at home and let us help feed the baby goats, which is always a blast. Thank you Nancy for the wonderful memories, and we look forward to returning next spring!

It was lovely this time of year. The hyacinths and daffodils were blooming all around the house. It was such a beautiful setting. Horses were next door in the field and a little creek running behind the house. The location was just a few blocks from the main part of town. Lisa responded quickly when I texted her and was very helpful. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, but close to town and the interstate, this is the place for you.

Our girls weekend stay at Hiedi's place was great! The weather wasn't the greatest but we got in the hot tub several times. We loved the goat, horses & mini donkey. We loved feeding them while video chatting with our Grand children.Comfy beds & nice decor. We are already planning our next trip. Pulling into the garage was so nice especially because it was raining.

Carol’s place was exactly as described. The home was very large, and had plenty of space to spread out. We had a large group of all ages, and everyone had somewhere to sleep safely. I liked that there were two bedrooms downstairs, so there was enough accommodations for the people in our group that couldn’t safely do the stairs. I imagine it would be fun to stay in summertime when you could enjoy the outdoors as well! This will be our go to place for the Dayton area!

My two grandsons and I took a little adventure to the countryside and enjoyed every minute. Loved the tiny cottage, the beautiful scenery, and the friendly cows and goats who came to the fence to greet us. The boys made a fire for s’mores and ghost stories. They were amazed at how dark the night got. The cottage was clean, cozy and had everything we needed.

There's a reason why they are super host. The place was spotless. Very comfortable. Better than the photograph show. They were very responsive check in was easy. Will not hesitate to stay again.

We loved our extended stay here. The place was very clean and tidy. We enjoyed cooking here in the evenings as a family and it had all the things we needed to do so. The host was great ... always responded when we needed something. The farm animals would visit often and the kids loved it. Highly recommend.

This home was perfect. Well stocked and clean. Felt right at home. Host thought of everything, even having a homemade coffee cake on the counter for us. Would highly recommend.

Such a great place to stay!! Pretty clean and accommodating. Very relaxing and peaceful place! The animals were amazing to watch! The daughter was such a sweetie to talk to! Lots of cute little kitties to watch. Wish we knew beforehand that we could have bought fresh eggs and ground beef from the family farm instead of hauling from out of town. But I would definitely recommend this place!

A phenomenal stay! The place was SO clean and way more beautiful than pictured. Beds were comfortable, soaps/shampoos and towels were SUPER PLENTIFUL. Mike and Trish's hospitality was the best we've ever experienced at ANY AirBnB. Mike even spent a long time helping us install our bike rack in the dark because we were really struggling! They delivered a crock pot and tweezers (a child got a splinter) within minutes of us asking. Talk about customer service! We LOVED feeding their horses and our kids had the BEST time playing with their puppy. This was definitely the low key retreat we needed to get away from the hectic hustle and bustle of DC. Their location was wonderful for a 20 mile RT bike ride and hikes in numerous parks. We will definitely return again, it was a perfect weekend!

Thomas’s Airbnb was exactly what the Dr. ordered! Beautiful surroundings, big yard, deck facing the river, and a fire pit. That’s what I want anytime I look for a get-away-spot. He was very thorough, kind, and communicative any time I needed to touch base, which should be reassuring for any future guests.

Pans place was perfect. Couldn't have picked a perfect location for what we were there for. So Peaceful.

Gina was an awesome host! Answered all my questions. Had everything that you need plus extra. Home was perfect, clean, great location. We had 6 kids and 4 adults with plenty of room. Would go back in summer to enjoy more of the outside things, it was too cold and rainy this time of year. But house was perfect we had our family Christmas there. Thank you, Gina.

We enjoyed our stay on the farm. It was cold outside, but we were cozy inside. We appreciated that the fridge had a few items (butter) that we forgot to bring, and there was plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. It is also very close to Grayson Highlands State Park. I recommend bringing your groceries in with you, as the closest store is about 30 minutes (which Tina helped us find). Thank you!

Truly one of the very best AirBNB's we've stayed at. Immaculately clean, lots of thoughtful touches, and a beautiful home and surroundings. (It's also nice to have some fun hiking in the area!)
