Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in Ohio River

Had a great one night stay at the guest house. Highlights include the beautiful deck space overlooking the river, and a friendly dog that stopped by to say hello. Be prepared to be out of cell service and wifi May or may not work. Otherwise a very peaceful and well kept space!

2nd time renting Laura's place. Beyond gorgeous views. My husband's family has a cabin & I'd always rather stay here! Breathtaking!!!

Visually unique environment. I like the eclectic design. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Very quiet. I never felt like I needed to call Linda for anything. She was thorough with instructions via messages and signs left around the Inn. I appreciated that the continental food items were available throughout the day. Nice to grab coffee or and a snack when I needed it. Would definitely book again!

Being a first time user of airbnb , Im sold and airbnb will be my go to from here forward for any travel.. the ease of reservation and check in/ check out ... very smooth! I literally paid online , then drove to the door of the place and punched in a code and we were home away from home. So easy , no front desk , just such a great way to travel with your family and friends. But the best part was "D.J." , after reading the responses left on airbnb sites , DJ was the contributing factor to my stay. I look forward to future family trips to Boone more often b/c of DJ's personal and professional timeliness and friendliness. D.J. Thanks again my friend , will talk to you soon

Sally was a fantastic host! The room was clean and the exactly like the pictures described. Joe was also very helpful giving us recommendations for places to check out in Nashville and was kind enough to make us breakfast in the mornings.

This is my third stay with D.J. Every stay he has made sure I've felt right at home. I strongly encourage anyone traveling to stay at one of D.J.'s locations

My husband & I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway & it was perfect for what we were looking for! It was very clean, peaceful & still within a short driving distance of everything! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful property and very friendly host. Dina was helpful and happy to answer questions I had about local wildlife and hiking trails and I felt like I could have chatted with her for hours! Hoping to be able to go back in the near future and spend more time as this was just a one night stay before a hiking trip.

We loved staying here! It was in a perfect location to play all day at Mammoth Cave and go into the different towns for food.

Mary Ann and her husband Jerry were great hosts. We loved having the dog “Peaches” around to greet us. We loved walking around the pond and just having a peaceful time. Definitely would book again. Thanks again for the great time.

we absolutely loved staying here! very close to mammoth park yet also very peaceful. the hosts were very welcoming and always made sure we had everything we needed. their pets were an added bonus! we will definitely be back!

Another lovely stay at the Yew Center. I love waking up in the morning and hearing so many different bird calls. Our dog enjoyed hiking with us and taking a dip in the ponds and creeks. I always enjoy meeting other guests at the Yew and Melanie keeps everything running smoothly and beautifully clean (even with a lot of muddy boots going in and out).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shane’s place! Close to many attractions!! And they had electric bike rentals as alt way to access attractions ;) Beds were perfectly comfortable and clean; bathroom was spotless, spacious, and had clean towels; hosts also operate multiple other attractions that are well maintained and well staffed; and we had space and comfort accommodating me, spouse, and 2 boys ages 11 and 13. We will definitely stay again!!

This place was so peaceful and relaxing, just like the listing. It was just what I needed to relax and kick back. The river running by is so soothing and was particularly beautiful with the fog coming off it in the morning. Thank you!

We were in the area for a Family Wedding and stayed at this location. Fantastic time and the Host was very friendly and very helpful during our stay. The location is as advertised and very remote and we were able to accommodate our 3 families being all together. One Tip is to make sure you have the information for getting into the rental downloaded before getting there. This location is very remote with mountains and the cell reception is very bad. (until you get inside for WiFi) I had to go back a few miles to get service but the Host answered and got me the info I needed to get our family inside. Thanks William

Beautiful and inspiring place! Our family of four had the place all the ourselves though we had a very late check in at 11 pm, we enjoyed the fire and kids games and instruments located in the shared space before checking out the next day. Saying this place is a hidden gem is an understatement. Very clean bedding and the hosts prepared the room by making it warm before our arrival which is a huge plus (cold night). A sanctuary you do not want to miss. I’m inspired to come back and support you guys and your initiative. I will have time for the sauna next time for sure. Thank you again for a beautiful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at Hachland Hill. It was a great base for our trip to Nashville and a quiet place to regroup and rest after spending the days in the city. The breakfasts were a real treat and my daughter so appreciated the meatless plates the staff provided…just after mentioning in passing she was vegetarian when we checked in the night before. Nice personal touches all around and carefully curated throughout. Joe was super kind and friendly and I enjoyed our few chats. His local recommendations and stories of the history of the place and personal connection to it were so very interesting. We also reminisced about our days at UT…coincidentally we were both alumni and our time there overlapped. Hachland Hill was a wonderful addition to our weekend. Off the beaten path (but easy to get to) and so charming, this is truly a gem. We’d love to return sooner than later!

This was a great stay! Beautiful, nature-filled quiet scenery and easy to get to the city. The most impressive part was the genuine, warm hospitality we enjoyed throughout the stay. The breakfast was amazing! Great find.

Great stay! Place was beautiful, peaceful, and the breakfast was great! It's a peaceful setting, and we had a relaxing time. The main building is really cool, and they set us up for a fire down on the huge patio. Breakfast was at 8, and was amazing, but for lunch and dinner be mindful that most food places are about 15 minutes away. Most restaurants near the inn close at 8, once we figured that out, we did fine. There is Mexican food, and an awesome pizza place close by. Overall we loved our stay.

Great place with blazing fast internet, much needed cuz there is no cell service. No oven or stove top, so maybe someone else can enjoy my frozen pizza I left in the freezer. Comfy beds and great place for friends to chill if there’s an event in town.

Unlike other places in the area, Willow Hills did not try to gouge us during the eclipse. Everyone we met, guests included, were very friendly. The owners asked for feedback when we saw them and was open to our input. She made sure we knew a late checkout would be ok. We didn't need it, but appreciated the offer. The other guests were not noisy. Clearly a lot of work has been done on the building and they are working to make more improvements. The one thing we wish we had was a private bathroom.
