Apartment vacation rentals in Ohio River

We had a wonderful stay at Chris and Jim’s. They were welcoming hosts and our time there was very comfortable. The apartment is beautiful and full of charm. We look forward to coming back for future visits to Amherst!

This place was nice and cozy, the bed was very comfortable and the little balcony is a nice feature.

The place and area were as described in the listing and looked like pictures. The neighborhood was walkable and felt safe, mostly small family homes and we had our dogs so walked every day. It was close to campus and we were visiting our son for the weekend and everything was within 5-10 minutes. We enjoyed the weekend and would stay there again.

Cheryl was there to greet us and made us feel so welcome. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and had everything we could have possibly needed. Highly recommend if staying in the area.

Lisa's place is absolutely lovely. A huge double-sized room with a big, comfortable bed, sitting area, dining area, great windows and kitchenette made it so much more than a hotel room. The place is charming with great decor from the record store downstairs. The restaurants in the neighborhood were fabulous, we walked to dinner and brunch. Lisa communicated everything we needed, and was extremely helpful. I'd stay again in a heartbeat!

Great place and a great location except for the train. Could be a little noisy at night.

We had a great stay! There were lots of amenities, a lot of good restaurants in the area, close to downtown which is the main thing we were looking for.

Highly recommend Dave's place! It was the perfect location for us. It was very clean. Check-in was easy. There was plenty of hot water for two people to take showers. The bed was a little too soft for our aging backs, but still comfortable with good linens. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Not far from the airport.

We had a lovely time at Luc and Linda’s place. It is walkable to ASU and downtown which is great bc we couldn’t get an Uber. The place itself was well-maintained, had everything that you’d need to stay for a couple of days. I’m also happy that there was a futon sofa so 2 of us got our own beds. The space is well-lit and clean in a safe and quiet neighborhood, so I’d 💯 recommend if you’re visiting Boone.

Alex and Rebecca went above and beyond expectations and were flexible when we needed to extend the stay another day. They were fantastic at communicating to ensure that we were able to get into the building and sent multiple recommendations on things to do and places to eat while we were there. Beyond amazing hosts 10/10 would recommend staying here. Thank you Alex and Rebecca for being so great!

Greg was a great host. I told him I was going to be staying for an extended period of time and would appreciate some amenities for cooking. He provided Tupperware and aluminum foil along with larger bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Very thoughtful. His location is steps away from Schooner’s restaurant, which has great wings and onion rings. Next to that is Grove Street bakery which has amazing sugar, cookies, donuts, and pecan rolls. A quarter mile past that is a walking trail. The airport is only six minutes away and all the major shopping centers are within 10 minutes. The 65 inch TV with the multiple recliners is a perfect area to relax at the end of the day. Thank you for hosting my family and I!

I have stayed at Kendric's listings multiple times and each experience has been great. Unit as described, clean, and great communication by Kendric. The neighborhood is quaint and a good location for doing stuff around the city. Highly recommend.

Kristina’s place was just as described. Everything was clean and taken care of. Check-in was easy. Kristina was responsive and gave us recommendations for an area to eat that met our needs and it turned out to be a great suggestion. The bed was a tad uncomfortable, but it did its purpose and was clean. I’m pretty sure someone was in the upstairs unit our first night, but we never heard them or had issues. Parking was also easy, happy to have easy, free, accessible, off-street parking. The house was close to the areas we needed and the area felt safe.

The vibes overall were great. The beds are super comfy, and the bathroom is where it’s at. We had everything we needed and then some. Cozy, cute, and pleasant :)

Pictures do not do this amazing home justice. It’s just magical. Sandy is soooo sweet and helpful. I can’t wait to go back! I felt like a Disney princess when the deer came strolling by. ❤️ peaceful beautiful surroundings and the pool is to die for! Thank you Sandy!

Just stayed a night but would have stayed more. Good spot near downtown. Perfect for a Louisville excursion.

The hot tub was super close to the room and it was a nice efficiency-perfect for what we needed

It was a nice place to stay near Nashville. The hottub and deck were nice. There were a lot of wasps swarming the hottub (it’s out in nature so that happens) but other than that it was great.

What a wonderful retreat! I stayed by myself as a little momma get away and it was perfect. The Zucchini bread is as good as everyone says! The hot tub was wonderful! The hosts were extremely responsive whenever I needed anything and really helpful! There are even games and toys for kids/toddlers if that is what you’re doing. I of course was vacationing FROM the kids toys lol but I love that if we go back there are things for the kids. Be advised that this is a basement apartment so you’ll hear footsteps and sometimes muffled voices just like you would in any house. It didnt bother me at all! The views are spectacular and the property is just so peaceful. 10/10 would recommend for sure!!
