Chalet vacation rentals in Ohio River

We loved the space and it was perfect to go see a show at Beech mountain. Easily walkable to the mountain for the concert.

This was an awesome place if you want to just to get away. Quiet, peaceful location we will be staying here again. We loved it.

The house was beautiful and clean. Brooke was quick to respond with any questions or issues we had. She even ordered an electric griddle for us so we didn't have to bring one. One of the bedrooms listed had two twins instead of a king and the beds weren't the best. Additonally, there was only 1 shower (second bathroom had a tub) however we made do and still had a wonderful time :)

We had a great stay at the 3 Tree Chalet. An absolutely beautiful property. The kids ages 6-13 had the best time playing in the lake, fishing, playing pool and having bonfires. House was perfectly stocked and had everything you could ever need. We are hoping to make this an annual trip. Thanks for a great long weekend Ian!

My husband and myself came to town for a standup comedy show at Hardrock Live. We also wanted to stay in a place that was secluded, quiet, private, and would allow us some peace and quality time together as it was our first trip away since kids. Shana’s place did not disappoint. We got all of the things above! We enjoyed the soaker jet tub, time on the deck nestled in the trees, and watching the deer and squirrel. We will definitely be returning as we come for future events or when we simply want to get away.

Absolutely amazing great host, beautiful view and relaxing environment

Dana was such a great host, so friendly ,helpful and responsive. I loved every minute at valentinos resort. Just as described so peaceful and quiet. loved relaxing and just looking at nature and the beautiful scenery. This was my first air bnb rental and I was nervous but dana was so helpful and friendly she put me right at ease and made our stay wonderful. clean and well furnished just as described, loved the country memorabilia and overall feel. if i ever find myself in nashville again I will definitely book again. This is our second year staying at Steve’s place at Beech Mountain, and it was just as great as the first time! Seeing the sunset off the balcony was gorgeous and the kitchen was fully stocked for us to be able to cook meals after a long day of skiing. We also appreciated the little touches like flashlights and Hot Hands for late night walks.

We had an absolute blast at this property! Siva was an excellent host—super responsive and easy to communicate with. The game room was a huge hit with our young kids, and we really enjoyed eating our meals out on the deck with a peaceful view of the trees. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We hope to be back on our next trip to Blowing Rock!

Awesome place. Our whole family enjoyed the stay. Plenty of room, lots of things to do. We especially enjoyed seeing all the deer on our rides around the neighborhood. The hosts were extremely helpful answering any of our questions. Having the two kitchens & the extra refrigerators was a great bonus so that we were able to keep our drinks cold without having to use coolers. We also enjoyed the fire pit, the pool table, the shuffleboard, table tennis & the rocking chairs on the porch with the view of the lake. We were able to dock our boat & fish from the pier. I would definitely recommend this vacation sitting to anyone.

Great home convenient to Beech Mountain Resort and other local attractions. Jeanine was incredibly responsive and helpful in making our stay a wonderful one.

Collin was a great host, and he was super responsive to our communication. We had a large group of 14 and we felt right at home. The house has everything you need, and if not, its easy to find and easy to communicate with Collins. Great place if you have a good size group and want a place to hang out together, but also a private space to chill by yourself.

clean and in driving distance of lots of things to do

Jill was very responsive and accommodating. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve with. There were 2 refrigerators and freezers giving us room for drinks and food. The house was versatile, homey yet elegant and unique. It was secluded and offered several outdoor settings for entertainment i.e. boat dock with ladder and kayaks, fire pit, a deck on 3 levels, and a carport that also allowed for being outside even if it was raining. We loved it!

The home is beautiful and well-appointed with fabulous views. It was peaceful and tranquil. Our only disappointment was that the house was not clean. It had not been vacuumed, the base of one door to the porch was covered in ladybugs that we had to step over until we swept them, and the bathrooms were not clean either. I would highly recommend the place, despite its not being clean. The location is nice, being close enough to Mt. Vernon that you can reach restaurants and the art museum within 10-15 minutes. But you can also stay put and enjoy the lake, the views, and the well-appointed home.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home with incedible view over the holiday week. The beds were comfy, kitchen was big with everything we needed, hot tub, massage chair and firepit were relaxing. Thank you for your hospitality!

Second time I’ve stayed here with my bass fishing group and we love it.

Great location and very peaceful. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The pond is stocked. The keys would not work on any of the doors so a staff member came out and helped us get in. I would recommended sealing the deck since there are a lot of paint chips. We noticed there was a lot of dog hair under the sofas(we didn't have a dog).

We decided to stay at the lake house for our daughters Spring Break. Unfortunately it was bad timing due to all the ongoing storms throughout the week. Luckily this house has plenty of games and lots to do Inside. We enjoyed our time and look forward to returning again very soon.

This place was fabulous. Our sons loved fishing in the pond. We were in town for the Cincinnati Spartan Race (40 minutes away at Perfect North slopes). Plenty of room. Nice extras provided by the hosts. Clean and very well stocked. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Grocery store (Kroger) about 15 minutes away. Fairly close to the interstate too.
