Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ocean City

This was the best located place we've ever stayed for a vacation. We have 3 boys (7, 5, 9 months) and were able to park our car for the week. Our kids had no issues walking everywhere. It was a quick walk to the beach and boardwalk, OC Waterpark, shops and restaurants on Asbury, a public playground across from Acme, and an eyeshot from an Açaí bowl, ice cream, and coffee/sandwich shops. Directly Kitty-cornered is a park with green space and winding sidewalks that our kids rode scooters on and played sports at. There was plenty of space inside for our family of 5 and it came stocked with everything we needed, including beach gear. It was also amazing to relax out on the porch after the kids went to bed. We all agreed this is the best vacation we've had and a huge part of that was because of this place and its location. We hope to be able to rent it again for future vacations! We had a great time at the house. It had lots of things for our kids to entertain themselves with after a long day at the beach and boardwalk. We would definitely stay here again. Mother's day weekend! My sister and my daughters enjoyed a lovely weekend at Alicia's place! The view kept us entertained for hours, watching birds, people watching and feeling the bay breeze. The short walk to the beach was easy and we managed to look for shells, watch the waves and take video of dolphins playing in the water. The condo had everything you could need and was well organized. There is plenty of room for a group like ours and more. Alicia was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. I recommend this place for anyone wanting the best of both - bay and beach! FYI, there are some stairs (second floor condo) but all in all, a great place to visit!

We had the most amazing time at Tracy's OCNJ home! Extremely clean house with great amenities and new appliances, comfortable beds, peaceful and quiet neighborhood, plus could not ask for a better location. It is a super convenient walk to the beach and boardwalk (made even easier thanks to the beach chairs and cart provided with the house), but just fart enough from the boardwalk to enjoy some distance from the crowds. Everything you could need - grocery stores, CVS, gas, restaurants, coffee, salons, etc. - are all within a short walking or driving distance away. Additionally, Tracy was extremely responsive any time we reached out and always so kind and courteous. 10/10 experience; we would not hesitate to stay here again! We had a great time staying at Heather’s place! It was kid friendly, spacious, and clean. Our kids loved the bunk bed and big backyard :) there are lots of restaurants and breakfast places within a 5 minute drive too! We hope to be back again when weather is warmer!

The unit was clean, light and bright with lots of big windows. We enjoyed the parking spot in the alley behind the house, and the updated bathroom. The fluffy white bath towels and the shower were great (like other guests have observed, you really need to pull hard on the handle to get the water running). We liked that there was a Keurig AND a drip coffee pot (we are drip people!). Lots of dishes and glasses, too. There are five very effective ceiling fans, which kept the air circulating. The house is in a super location, a very short walk to the boardwalk and beach, plus neighborhood shops and restaurants. But be aware that West Avenue is a VERY BUSY street, so road noise is noticeable. However, the bedrooms are in the back away from the street, so we did not have any issues sleeping. If you are staying before Memorial Day or after Labor Day, check with Dan to make sure AC units are installed if the days will be warm. Thanks for a great visit, Dan!!

House was beautiful, comfortable with plenty of space for everybody! Also, close location to boardwalk and beach! Would be great if there was a crockpot, and a few deep dish lasagna pans, muffin pan and some pyrex big pans to cook in for large groups.

This place was a great location with plenty of space for our family. Short walk to the beach. Quiet location for naps for our youngest during the day. Handy to have the garage for storage, multiple showers to clean up after the beach, and a washer and dryer in the hallway to help keep up with laundry during the week.

Helen was kind and extremely accommodating. Her place is in the heart of Ocean City and walking distance to whatever you need. And what a magical garden!

Beautiful place, went there to celebrate my daughter turning 1. It was a special moment and the view made it worth it!

Place was great! Street parking was sparse even though we had passes. When we got back Saturday afternoon around 430 there was no parking. I actually had to park at the end of the street closest to the boardwalk where the x’d out yellow box is and thankfully got no ticket. The street is only wide enough for one car so if someone is coming out when you’re pulling in there is no place to go and someone needs to back all the way up until someone parks and can let the other person by. Overall it was a nice place. Not much to do in AC unless you gamble and eat but we spent the day in wildwood to kill time until our dinner at Hell’s Kitchen in caesers casino.

We loved staying at Steve and Louise's beautiful property. Watching the sun rise and set over the tidal wetlands was magical, and there were many amazing birds. The fenced yard was great for our dog. The interior had good natural light, which is unusual for a ground floor unit with a balcony over it. The bed was extremely comfortable. Steve was very nice, and made sure to check on us frequently to see if we needed anything, and stopped by to chat a number of times. As listed, the indoor shower is small but the outdoor shower is much larger. I used the outdoor shower and the water pressure was great. It might be difficult for someone elderly or with mobility disabilities because it's a little hard to balance on the sloped slippery wood. The location is perfect - between Stone Harbor and Cape May Courthouse so it is convenient for necessities, but easy to get to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again.

Mom and Daughter weekend get away was a great success. David’s rental was extremely clean, comfortable beds, bright and sunny, cozy, easy check-in and check out, walking distance to stores and eating options. Great sunsets on the bay, walkable distance to the beach, and boardwalk. We had a great stay and would 100% stay again. David was friendly and made sure our stay went great.

Great location with easy and quick access to the boardwalk! George was very responsive and helpful, especially as we were new to the area. He made our stay smooth and enjoyable.

My boyfriend and I had a great weekend stay at Michele's place! It was perfect for a couple and the location was great. Michele was very responsive and check-in and check-out were easy and seamless.

Heather's place was beyond my expectations! The location was perfect! A block from the beach & a direct path. It was absolutely spotless! The amenities were like no other place I've stayed before, even down to the little candy jar for when the chocolate craving kicked in. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

This is a great find. We stayed with young kids and everyone loved it. The place was immaculate it’s 2 short blocks to the beach and there are a few stores including a bakery, surf shop and sandwich shop within walking distance. Short drive to the boardwalk. Joe was incredibly responsive. Great stay!

Place was exactly as described. Very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner. Lots of fresh towels. Happy we didn’t have to bring our own beach chairs. Great location, quick walk to the beach. We stayed during the Memorial Day weekend so street parking was a little difficult to find - once you find a spot near by it’s probably best not to move your car or you might have to park a few blocks down. Other than that it was a perfect place for a quick get away.

Russel was a wonderful host. He was very responsive and answered all of our questions promtly. The place was very clean and looked exactly like on the pictures. The distnce to the boardwalk and the beach was only 5 minutes away (walking distance). We were 4 adults and 2 toddlers and we had an amazing time. We were able to use the bikes that were in the garage and ride them on the boardwalk. We highly recommend Russel as a host!

This was our first family vacation with kids and this was the perfect spot for us. 3 blocks from the beach for us to be able to walk to and from, close to many shops and restaurants, and also a very short drive to some of our other favorite spots. Would definitely consider staying here again.
