Bayfront Roof Deck Sunset Views

TarynRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Craig’s home was extremely clean, thoughtfully arranged, and clearly well cared for. Every room felt fresh and inviting, with everything in its place. The highlight, without a doubt, was the view of the bay. Whether you were relaxing indoors or enjoying the rooftop, the scenery was breathtaking. The rooftop space, in particular, offered a perfect spot to unwind, with panoramic views that were especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. The location is another major plus. This specific street along the bay is peaceful and open, giving it a much more relaxed and private feel compared to some of the busier, more tightly packed nearby areas. It truly felt like a hidden gem—quiet, serene, and ideal for a calm getaway.

Vintage beach block cottage

GraceRating, 5 stars3 days ago
My Mom & I stayed at Jennifer's place for a quick girls weekend at the shore. It was absolutely lovely. The decor inside has an amazing boho vibe & the condo was very quiet despite being right off a main street. The front porch was also lovely & a great place to have dinner or relax in the evening. Also loved the outdoor shower! I'm so glad we found this gem of a place, can't wait to stay here again. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Jennifer for a great stay!

TammyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We so appreciated the chance to stay for a few days in this rental. Whenever I had questions prior to our stay, Amish answered promptly and was very understanding and kind. In addition, upon check-in, we were very pleased with the condition of the rental. The space was very clean, organized, and had all the necessities one might expect during a stay. Thanks to Amish and all those that had a hand in making this a wonderful stay for our family during this wedding weekend for our loved one! Grateful for the memories made here!

Beach Block, Renovated Condo Getaway

EmilieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stayed for a long weekend with my husband, 4 year old, and 2 year old. The weather was not great, but having a great location to stay at helped. We were able to make quick trips into the ocean and on the boardwalk then easily come back to warm up and regroup. There were plenty of paper products provided (paper towels, tissues, napkins, toilet paper). Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfy. Towels were ample too; only wish was that there were more kitchen towels and bath sized towels available. If I really had to nit pick, the connectivity to the bedroom TVs was super slow/times out a lot and one of the living room TV remotes didn’t work, but we weren’t there to watch TV and should’ve been out exploring, so we didn’t bother to bring it to Kevin’s attention. All in all it was a great stay, and we’d def stay again.

Strathmere Beachfront House

DavidRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an excellent stay at Brooke’s place for the second year in a row. The house is exactly as described and in the pictures - beautiful finishes, tasteful and comfortable decor, plentiful amenities. The location couldn’t be better. It’s close enough to all the activities in Ocean City for the family but far enough away that it feels remote and peaceful. We used to go to the Outer Banks for many years, and my wife kept commenting on how it felt like we were there but with all the fun the boardwalk close by. Highly recommend staying here!

House was beautiful, comfortable with plenty of space for everybody! Also, close location to boardwalk and beach! Would be great if there was a crockpot, and a few deep dish lasagna pans, muffin pan and some pyrex big pans to cook in for large groups.

Open & Modern North End Apt walk or bike to beach!

Mary Kate Rating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I can’t say enough about this special place. It was our first family trip with our toddler and this place was exactly what we needed. It was peaceful and very clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and they had a pack and play and high chair for our son along with toys and a book shelf which he loved. We are so thankful for the outdoor shower and beach chairs. We had such a great weekend and were so sad to leave. We hope to return in the near future.

Coastal Quad: Hot tub | Mini Golf | Arcade | Gym

NicoleRating, 5 starstoday
We had an absolutely wonderful stay during our mini-moon! The accommodations were incredibly spacious for a tiny home, and the bed was super comfortable. Everything was spotless with high end finishes and we really enjoyed the private hot tub and the well-equipped gym. It was the perfect getaway! We will be back to stay in another one of the tiny homes in the coastal quad collection. As an interior designer, it was up to my standards on style and comfortability! Thank you Donna!

Your guide to Ocean City

All about Ocean City

In the 1920s, a small stretch of boardwalk and a merry-go-round were built along Ocean City’s shore. Two Ferris wheels, several looping roller coasters, and a century later, the skyline may be more dramatic, but the town’s appeal remains just as wholesome. Amusement park rides and waterslides make Ocean City’s wooden boardwalk (rebuilt in 2018), one of the Jersey Shore’s most popular spots. Its 8-mile-long white-sand beach has plenty of space to build sandcastles or spot hermit crabs. Visitors should keep in mind that Ocean City is a dry town, meaning you can’t buy or drink alcohol in public within the city limits, though it’s fine to bring it in from elsewhere and drink in private.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Ocean City

Summer is peak season for vacation rentals here: From June through late August, temperatures range from the 70s up to the 90s Fahrenheit, with periods of high humidity lasting into the evening. Bring sunscreen and bug spray in summer, especially if you plan to hike. Hurricane season lasts from mid-August through October, and temperatures cool down through fall. Winter’s 40-degree days and occasional snow shut down most of the boardwalk’s rides, though some indoor arcades and shops remain open. Spring temperatures are mild, in the 60s and 70s, but passing showers can put a damper on beach days.

Top things to do in Ocean City

Ocean City Beach

Ocean City’s beaches are among the cleanest along the Jersey Shore. In the high season, the sand is swept daily and lifeguards keep watch from regular intervals. The water in summer is warm and generally calm enough to swim, kayak, and paddleboard. You can rent gear, umbrellas, and beach-accessible wheelchairs at several spots along the beach. In summer, anyone older than 12 will need to pay a beach access fee; buy daily or weekly tags on the boardwalk or from an inspector on the beach.

Ocean City Boardwalk

It’s worth getting up early to rent a bike or surrey for a cruise along the boardwalk, allowed only before noon in summer. By midday, the boardwalk is in high gear, though it’s so wide it rarely feels crowded. The two amusement parks feature a good mix of kiddie and thrill rides, from the original 1920s carousel to a new 120-foot-tall roller coaster (tickets can be purchased per ride, though the bundles are a better deal). With water slides, a lazy river, and a pirate-themed playground, the OC Waterpark can take a whole day to explore.

Corson’s Inlet State Park

On the south end of town, this 341-acre coastal park is the counterpoint to the neon-lit boardwalk. A series of short hiking trails wind through the sand dunes and tall grasses, with views of the ocean and wetlands. The beach is accessible only at low tide, so check the tide report to time your visit, then bring a picnic, settle in, and watch for migratory birds. Swimming isn’t allowed here, though kayaking or fishing (with a permit) are.
