Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Ocean Beach, San Diego

The place looked just like the pictures. Nice little home and a quiet neighbor hood. I want to mention the bed mattresses in the bedrooms, they were the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. And I’m not exaggerating either. The place has a cozy vibe to it. My girlfriend and I loved it. Great restaurants in Ocean Beach. Lisa was easy to get a hold of. Answered my messages right away. This place was great for a girls weekend. Shops and restaurants right across the street. Main busy street of Ocean Beach and the beach itself was a 10 min walk. Ramona was super nice and accommodating. The pull out sofa in one of the bedrooms was very uncomfortable for one of the guests though so they ended up sleeping on the couch which was better. Would stay here again and again!

We enjoyed our staycation in San Diego, thanks to our beautiful home away from home at Jason’s Air BnB unit. The beach is within walking distance from the house and there are plenty of good restaurants to go to nearby. We appreciate that Jason’s place is dog-friendly as the neighborhood is very dog friendly. There are some good dog-friendly restaurants within walking distance and the dog beach in San Diego is within walking distance too. It’s a perfect place to have a staycation with family and furbabies. Thank you Jason and Keri for all the clear instructions about the house that it made our stay smooth sailing! Definitely booking again if we ever need a staycation in SD in the future.

This was our second stay at this property. It was so great the first visit, we wanted to stay here again. The location is amazing! So close to Liberty Station, which has great restaurants, bars and shopping. Also a short drive to Little Italy. The property is dog friendly, and our 2 German Shepherds loved it! The yard wraps around the house and is fully fenced and safe for dogs. It's a very nice and clean casita set back from the main house, so there is a lot of privacy. The hosts are always very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend staying here!

For us, location was key. We easily walked everywhere, to the beach, downtown, food co-op and every restaurant. The garage with ping pong and foosball was fun for the whole family. We even got a free fireworks display from Sea World (highly recommend this experience)! Thanks for a great stay.

We loved our stay at Jordy’s place. The home fit the description and the neighborhood is so so cute. We enjoyed having so many restaurants and the beach within walking distance, check out Ocean beach coffee and plants for great coffee/ tea and lots of vegan pastries. We loved walking the neighborhood and admiring the artistry locals have put into their homes and gardens. Ocean beach is definitely an old school surfer neighborhood, you will see lots of cute vw vans and everyone is in bed by 10pm. The house was just a 15/20 drive from all of our excursions (Balboa Park & La Jolla are beyond worth the drive. This home was exactly what we needed for a laidback tourist trip.

Great location in Ocean Beach. Just a few short blocks to all the action, yet just removed from all the action. House is accurately described. Having a driveway and private parking spot is priceless in this neighborhood.

It was wonderful. The views from the deck were amazing. Every bed was comfortable. I loved the bowl of gummy’s they had for us 😁. It’s was perfect for our family reunion everyone had privacy and the family room’s furniture was perfect to cozy up by the fire and watch tv. I loved the weather there. I opened up the windows and we had perfect weather so we never had to turn on the air conditioner. Kelly allowed us to put the cover over the pool and it warmed up the pool and the grandkids had a blast. We had multiple generations at home ( 4 generations from 85?to 1 yr old 😁) and everyone was happy. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy family together.

We had a fantastic week in La Jolla! John’s place was charming, spotless, and perfect for our family. The home was well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—including beach gear—and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location is unbeatable: a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within a few minutes walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops, and more. John was a friendly and responsive host who made everything easy from start to finish. Honestly could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, convenient stay in La Jolla. We’d love to come back!

Brian and Carla were great hosts, they were proactive and responsive to all my questions/inquiries. They allowed for early check-in and provided clear instructions. They reached out during our stay to see how we were doing or if we needed anything or had questions. The stay is beautiful, clean, and in a great location. We were able to walk to Mission Beach to enjoy the cafe and walk the park. Highly Recommend for a SD getaway.

Stayed here while celebrating a good friend’s marriage. Very close to anywhere you want to go in San Diego and walking distance to a couple good spots and grocery stores. Would book again! Oh also they were kind enough to leave cookies for us!

We loved our stay at Mari Katherine’s Airbnb for a girl’s weekend in SD! It is a beautiful home that was spacious and thoughtfully designed and decorated to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The home feels private, but was in a fantastic location in North Park that was easily walkable to coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Mari Katherine sent clear instructions leading up to our stay, so the logistics of check in were clear and easy! When some logistical challenges came up during our stay, Mari Katherine was very responsive (even late in the evening) and offered solutions - we would be thrilled to visit again!

Quiet location, exactly as pictured and described. Parking could be a challenge if you have a large vehicle but being able to park in the garage made it easier. Great communication!

Will and Janine see such gracious and mellow hosts. Their place and the surroundings are stunning and the lodging is a wonderful space for relaxation and restoration. The pool area and sunshine were just what we needed. The kitchen area is small but well-appointed. it being a pet friendly space was much appreciated. Don't get us started on the bathroom! While it's a shared wall with their part of the house, we never lacked for privacy. Lastly, the value for what you pay is top tier. Highly recommended and we hope to return next time we're in San Diego!

Really enjoyed our stay! Parked the car along the street and didn’t need to drive ANYWHERE during our visit. So many places in the area to walk to, especially the beach! Would definitely stay again!

Took a vacation for about 5 days and this spot was the perfect place to stay. Private and tucked off the street, perfect walk to the beach, Sunset cliffs and lots of restaurants. It had everything we needed, appliances were all new, garage was great and it felt very homey. We would definitely come back and stay here!

Georgie’s airbnb is beautiful and in a great location in Ocean Beach. There’s plenty to do nearby and easy to walk to. We had some trouble sleeping due to noise from airplanes, but this has less to do with Georgie’s Airbnb specifically and more to do with the proximity to the airport.

Everything was great! Just one block from the dog beach our pup was in heaven. Hosts were wonderful!

Best of the best! This place is an oasis with wonderful hospitality and attention to detail. The cottages are super well cared for, very clean and well stocked. The garden is an incredible space to relax and unwind in. I felt like I was staying at a spa for my soul. It was really a gift to be able to stay here. Thank you Linda and Santos!

My family and I loved this cute comfortable cottage. Super clean, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make meals, coffee and snacks. It was just a few steps away from a beautiful beach and scenic walkway and views. I would definitely recommend to family and friends and would totally rent it again.

Amazing location with easy access to the beaches and just a short walk from shops and stores. The home itself is warm and cozy with beautiful decor, and was fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking. We loved being able to call it our home for two days! The neighborhood is lovely (lots of adorable dogs around!), and overall it was a wonderful place to stay. The GPS took us to the back of the house at first, which was a bit confusing, but once we found the front door everything was easy. Just a heads up—the plane noise in the morning can be noticeable, but it was mentioned in advance and didn’t bother us much. Highly recommend and would love to be back!!
