We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb right on Mission Beach! The location couldn’t be better, just steps from the sand and perfect for a relaxing, chill vibe. The house was super clean, beautifully decorated, and very kid-friendly, which made it perfect for our family. The host, Evan was incredibly accommodating, even with some last-minute changes we had. He checked in to see if we needed anything and was always responsive and kind throughout our stay. We really appreciated the great communication and hospitality. Overall, we absolutely loved the experience and would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed are time at the beach house. It was a great location and very close to every where we wanted to go. It is absolutely a beautiful place to stay with family.

This place is amazing!! The best views, the best walking, and the spaces in the house are perfect for a group. We made dinner in and watched the sunset every night. We also brought our 6 month old son and it was a great location to be “nap trapped.”

We stayed for 2 nights, and it was an enjoyable stay. The house is in a nice neighborhood, and it was fairly clean. It's an older house but has been kept up nicely.

Scott was so responsive and accommodating as we got into town a little before our check in time. We were able to store our luggage in the garage so we could go enjoy the boardwalk and have some lunch before we checked in. The spot was beautiful and so close to everything. Definitely will stay again!

Lila’s Place was the perfect space to host my family traveling from all corners of the US to celebrate my daughter’s graduation! It will be forever talked about at future family gatherings, because some PRICELESS memories were make! The location is walkable to the beach and we had access to beach “gear” in the home. The house is spacious inside and outside with a beautiful (large) outside wood burning fireplace. The kitchen is beautiful, spacious and well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glassware… What a bonus to have the kitchenette upstairs with a full sized refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Even with 10 people staying there, we still had a bed unused!! Speaking of beds, I only slept in the one in the apartment, but every single family member spoke of how comfy their bed was!! The host was extremely kind, accommodating and responsive!! I have only glowing reviews and the Matriarch (GMTHAD), was purring! I recommend this listing!!! Tami Shaffer

A really fabulous spot for a short family get away. The amenities were great, totally walkable neighbourhood and take your pick of beaches, play parks or just grabbing a bite to eat. The cottage is definitely a cottage but it was so tidy and well thought out it never felt crowded. It’s on the quiet side of Mission Bay so you can enjoy the scene and still get a good sleep.

The place was very clean, easy to find, and in a great location. Host was always proactive and gave clear instructions for check in and check out.

Cynthia’s place was perfect, she communicated promptly. Great location and clean bathrooms and kitchen. Loved the washer and dryer, clean and very accessible in the garage. Definitely recommend this place!

It was a great stay for our group and the host was very attentive and responsive.

The unit was well equipped having everything we needed. Owner was helpful and proactive. We didn't have any issues. The community deck over the ocean was fantastic. The beach here is wide enough to never have to worry about low tide or high tide. The unit provides a private stairway to the beach, while it is also a distance to get to for the public, resulting in an amazing beach with no crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

This is one of our favorite townhouse among all the Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! 1. It’s very quiet and located in a gated community, which feels safe. 2. It’s close to the ocean. You can’t see the sea directly, but it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. 3. The house is super comfortable and beautiful! The host provided almost everything we needed, which made our stay very convenient—we really appreciated that. 4. The community is lovely, with swimming pools and a large ocean-facing lounge. 5. The location is convenient. Although it’s in North San Diego, it’s only 6 minutes to Del Mar beach park and 30 minutes to the south. The only inconvenience: the host requires guests to wash all towels or pay a $100 fine. This meant we had to start doing laundry the day before check-out. Since check-out is at 10 AM and we also needed to clean the kitchen, we were rushing to wash and dry towels in the morning. This was not convenient. Everything else is very good!

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

Great place! Especially if traveling with kids. Very clean and has all the comforts of home. The yard is a bonus for letting little ones play. Mari was helpful and accommodating and easy to communicate with. My family was actually set to stay at another one of their properties but at the last minute, (and due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control), we were unable to stay at the original booking. But Mari was quick to reach out to me and was very helpful at getting us booked at another location. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Our stay at this property surpassed our expectations in so many ways! The photos didn't reflect how beautiful, clean, spacious, and private our airbnb was. There was so much for our family of 7 to enjoy during our 3 day stay, together & individually. Our kids enjoyed swinging on the swings, going up on their loft to get the beautiful ocean views, lounging around in their pool, and walking around & exploring all the nature that surrounds this home. We were really impressed with the Spanish modern design of this home and the cohesiveness of the modern and traditional design elelments-it made for stunning photos! The host resoonded promptly to every one of our question; they reponsed within the hour to every one of our questions.

This place was better than we were expecting. Perfect spot over the beach. Watching sunsets, sealions, dolphins and birds right from the patio. The patios are fairly private concidering your beside each other. This unit is nice because you can see all the way up the beach. We usually stay away from condos due to noise from other people but this condo was quiet, even though we had people above and beside we barely heard anyone due to the concrete floors. Nice pool, and hot tub. We didn't really use the tennis or basketball courts. Everything inside and outside was clean and well kept. Best thing was the view, 2nd best thing was this unit is actually a well stocked air bnb. There was plenty of dishes, kitchen ware, uten toiletries, soap etc Easy 4min walk to beach and 6min walk to restaurants, coffee shops etc. And the beach and neighborhood seem fairly classy and family friendly. Wyatt was very fast to answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay again

Great experience all around! I plan to book again. The place is so clean and so close to the Bay and the beach. Parking is easy enough and the restaurants near by are fantastic. The bed is soft as can be, and the vibe is so cool. Thanks so much!

Nice quiet neighborhood. House was clean and fit our family of 7 perfectly. Patio area was great, we used it everyday. No issues whatsoever. Heather was a great host and made the process very easy. Highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and relaxed. The pictures were very accurate and the house is very nice. We met the neighbors on the first or second day and they were very friendly— had nice things to say about our hosts and offered assistance if we needed anything. We love to walk and found everything on Coronado to be within walking distance. Beautiful spot— we hope to return!

Loved the oceanfront location!

Steve and Catherine's place was phenomenal and I would 100% book this location again. We stayed at the house for a girls trip and were BEYOND impressed by the home. It truly was a serene and peaceful retreat that was so accessible to restaurants, shops and more. Steve was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout the whole process from booking all the way to check out. He even went above and beyond to get beach towels added to the property so we didn't have to pack any in our suitcases when I mentioned we were going to go to the beach for a day. All my girlfriends LOVED the place and every person said they'd come back next time they were in the area. I highly recommend staying here!

While the house is indeed a bit dated the location is just lovely. Only a few steps from the coast walk which was in bloom, walking distance to both the shores and the village, and the view is incredible

The host was especially accommodating and responsive to any requests. Very pleasant experience.

We enjoyed our time there. pleasant outdoor space. Well appointed with necessities, did not need to purchase supplies.
