Great place for travelers looking to visit the bay area or for families visiting relatives here in Alameda. 5 min drive to Alameda Ferry and 2 min walk to SF bus (25 mins to SF). This is a 1 bedroom, one bath duplex in a great neighborhood. Although its a 1 bed unit we do have a set of bunk beds in the bedroom and a pack-n-play crib for a infant. Its great for a couple or a family of 4 who would rather have access whole house rather than squeezing into a hotel room.

Our place is located in a very walkable neighborhood near Grand and Lakeshore, with many good restaurants and grocery stores a short walk away! We make sure to clean & sanitize after each guest departs. We pay close attention to high touch surfaces ( door handles, remotes, light switches, faucets, surfaces). Mike’s home was a pleasant place for our family while we had to vacate our local home for construction. The interior of the home is as pictured and well appointed. Plenty of kitchen gadgets and supplies as well as soap and bathroom amenities. Very clean and recently renovated.

This is our second stay at Andrew's home and looking forward to a third. Great residential location, with walking distance to shops, restaurants and Golden Gate Park, for hiking, Botanical Garden and museums. The house is clean, well-furnished and generously stocked. Val is always responsive and a call or text away with answers and suggestions. Highly recommended.

Charming, quiet and spacious with a beautiful backyard. Lots of natural light, beautiful original hardwood floors, comfortable beds. Big dining room table ideal for games, well equipped kitchen. We loved this quiet neighborhood convenient to services including a nearby Trader Joe's. It's also just a few minutes walk from El Cerrito Natural Grocery and Annex, a fantastic spot. Friendly, responsive hosts. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area!

Absolutely perfect stay! Alan’s and Anna’s place is perfectly tucked away in the redwoods, yet a quick walk to a beautiful wooded park and restaurants. Home was beautifully decorated, kitchen fully stocked and Beds and linens were so comfortable. We enjoyed the easy communication with both Alan and Anna who gave us great suggestions for hikes and places to visit. We have 5 people, 2 Adults and three teens and we fit perfectly in the home. Would highly recommend to friends and family wanting to visit Muir Woods and San Francisco.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was a great base for our group of 4 (3 adults, 1 child) to explore San Francisco. We loved the proximity to the beach and Golden Gate Park. It was quieter and more relaxing than staying in the middle of downtown, but still easy to commute in when we needed. There are some great restaurants and coffee shops in the area that we walked to as well. The house was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

The house is roomy and attractive, newly updated, and well-equipped. It's ideal for a family. We were adults and teens, and everybody had their space to spread out. We, the grandparents, appreciated having the room and bathroom on the walk-in level, though it was tricky for us old folks going up those hardwood steps to the kitchen, especially since we were asked to take our shoes off in the house, and we were uneasy about slipping on the steps in our stocking feet. However, we made it! The location was handy, with a full-service grocery store 2 blocks away and a variety of Asian shops and restaurants one block away. If our family returns to SF, we'd certainly pick Nilesh's house for another cozy stay.

Spacious Coastside home!

3 of us travelled to the area for a sporting event in South San Fran. Scott's place was great. Plenty of room for more then the 3 of us! Its a split level house with the main house up top and a studio (i think) below. The 2 places share the outside area with the bbq and spa, and share a driveway. Backyard is really private despite the proximity of the houses. We had no issues with the other rental at all. Neighborhood is older and some of the houses are dilapidated, but Scott's place is a gem among them, new features and treatments, really nice. Fish tank in there was a nice touch too - with an auto feeder (dont worry he doesn't ask you to care for them!). The TV is freakin huge in the living room and we enjoyed it. All in all it was a great place to stay, and although we opted to not bring our dogs, Scott was fine with us bringing them. If we are up that way again, we will definitely look to repeat our stay!
