Amalie’s place was a wonderful option for exploring Napa. I stayed for a month and was able to explore the vineyards north of downtown, San Francisco, the hiking both close and further away, as well as snowboarding in Tahoe all in one trip. The home is wonderful and clean with plenty of room. I felt like I had everything I needed and got to play with Otis (the pup) when I was coming in and out of the apartment. Amali is very responsive and helped me with recommendations! I had a gym nearby at HealthQuest and it was an amazing experience. I’m thankful for the family for treating me so well during my stay!

I stayed 36 days for a harvest season in Napa. It’s a very nice, quiet and lovely place. Mercedes always is willing to offer any kinds of help! I really glad I stayed at her place for my harvesting. Even if you are only coming to Napa for a short-period time, it will be a very good place to stay. In general, I highly recommend this lovely place!

Monroe is a top notch host. Before I even arrived he pointed me to things to do and places to eat during my stay. When I hit a speedbump with the internet connection and heater on arrival he was swift to swing by with people to lend a hand and everything was up and running in no time. I've spent a month already without a hitch. The unit is comfortable and affords everything I need to stay in comfort and privacy. I like it so much, I'm staying at least another month, so that conveys in the best way possible how much I appreciate Monroe and his lovely writers retreat.
