Monthly Rentals in Nunthorpe

Our party of 8 stayed here for a wedding in a neighbouring local village. The property was perfectly located, with nearby villages easily accessible and walkable - each of the rooms at the property were named after these local places which we loved. Phil, the host, was incredibly friendly, helpful and communicative for the duration of our stay. His local recommendations were wonderful and allowed us to explore the local area while were were here. After learning we were visiting for a wedding too, the hosts decorated the property for us, which was a beautiful touch that we loved. Thank you so much for hosting us Phil and Elaine! We enjoyed our stay very much, thank you for the special touches :)

We had a lovely few days here. The cottage was more spacious than it looks in the listing and had everything we needed for a few days. The cottage is on a busy road but parking wasn't an issue and we didn't find road noise a problem but if you have a dog that reacts to passing people/traffic it probably isnt the place for you. the garden is enclosed and nicely laid out. Aurora was a helpful and responsive host. There are good dog friendly options for eating out in walking distance. Great Ayton is a great base for exploring the local area there are lots of options for walking nearby as well as not being far from the coast.

We valued having a peaceful place to stay within easy reach of the hospital for visiting a close relative. It was very quiet and comfortable and we appreciated kitchenette provision with microwave, induction hob, toaster and kettle etc and also somewhere to relax on nice seating downstairs. The loft area was ideal with good shower etc and quality bedding that gave us a good night's sleep. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the heating worked well so we were kept lovely and warm. Finally we appreciated the breakfast provision which was left for us. We came by car and parked on the drive but we do use rail sometimes and have railcards so the station nearby might be handy for some future visit.

Booked Johns place for myself and my daughter as we were visiting relatives over Easter period and it was perfect! Great location in the centre of the village but also felt very private! I loved that you could hear the nearby river and weir from the patio area. Lots of great places to eat and drink in the village. The accommodation was spotless and everything was in perfect condition and working. John is available if required but very much respects your privacy. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anybody. 👍
